THIS JEEP HAS NO PROBLEMS AND IS READY TO BE DRIVEN HOME

THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT
NICE QUITE SMOOTH
WITH NO KNOCKS OR TICKS OR TINGS

THE TRANSMISSION FUNCTIONS PROPERLY AS IT SHOULD
ALL THE 4 WHEEL FUNCTIONS WORK PERFECTLY AS THEY SHOULD
IN EACH AND EVERY GEAR

EVERYTHING WORKS ON THIS JEEP

ARE NOT EVEN WORN OFF YET

YOU ARE WELCOME TO INSPECT IN PERSON AND BRING ANY MECHANIC
YOU TRUST WITH YOU TO INSPECT
I PROMISE YOU HE/SHE WILL TELL YOU THIS TRUCK IS RIGHT

MY CO-WORKER BOUGHT THIS NEW
HE WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE NOISE
HE HAD THE WATER PUMP REPLACED, IT ISN'T EVEN DIRTY OR DISCOLORED YET
THE NOISE WAS STILL THERE, I THINK HIS MECHANIC WAS TRYING TO SELL HIM
AN ENGINE.
ALL IT WAS, WAS THE HARMONIC BALANCER  (PROBABLY THE ORIGINAL)
PLASTIC SEAL WAS COMING APART AND HITTING THE FAN BLADE
NEW HARMONIC BALANCER HAS BEEN REPLACED
ALL THE NOISE IS GONE

THE ONLY ISSUE THAT HAS OCCURRED IS A FEW TIMES WHEN TURNING THE IGNITION SWITCH,
NOTHING HAPPENED.
MAYBE THE PARK/NEUTRAL SWITCH IS BAD
OR
MAYBE THE ORIGINAL KEYS ARE SO WORN OUT.

I HAVE STARTED IT AT LEAST TWO DOZEN TIMES WITH NO PROBLEMS SINCE IT DID THAT.
I HAVE GOTTEN UNDER THERE TO SEE IF THE CONNECTION IS LOOSE OR ?
THE FEW TIMES IT DID THAT, I PULLED THE SHIFTER TO NEUTRAL AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP

I WENT TO THE JEEP DEALERSHIP TO GET NEW KEYS MADE BY THE VIN
BUT THEY SAID THEIR CODES ONLY GO BACK TO 1993
SO THEY COULD NOT MAKE THEM
A DUPLICATE MACHINE IS JUST GOING TO MAKE A COPY OF THE WORN OUT KEYS

I GAVE THIS JEEP A BATH
A 20 MINUTE SOAP AND RINSE DEAL
WITH NO INTERIOR WIPING OR VACUUMING WHAT-SO-EVER
A REAL DETAIL AND THIS JEEP WILL REALLY SHINE

I SUPPLIED PHOTOS OF THE BEST RIM AND THE WORST RIM
THE RIMS HAVE SOME STAINS OR ? AND NEED TO BE CLEANED
TO BE NEW QUALITY
I JUST SOAPED THEM UP AND RINSED

THE WORST PARTS OF THE INTERIOR ARE THE SLIGHTLY CRACKED ARM PAD ON THE DRIVERS DOOR
AND THAT IS SOMEWHAT DIRTY ALSO, I DID NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN IT
AND
THE PASSENGER SUNVISOR ALONG WITH UPPER CEILING CONSOLE

I'M PRETTY SURE THE EXTERIOR HAS THE ORIGINAL PAINT JOB
BUT DO NOT KNOW FOR A 100 % SURE

THIS JEEP HAS 204,816
WHICH IS GOING TO SCARE A LOT OF PEOPLE
BUT THIS ENGINE HAS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED
AND NOT DOCTORED UP IN ANY WAY

A HUNDRED PEOPLE ARE GOING TO ASK ME ABOUT A BUY IT PRICE
THIS IS A 3500.00 VEHICLE

IT IS LISTED AS .99 STARTING BID WHEN NO RESERVE

Jeep and Alfa Romeo join the already exotic Italian police force

Mon, Dec 12 2016

Police departments in Italy are blessed with some of the most iconic cop cars on the planet. Where else will you see a pale blue Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 emblazoned with "Polizia" on the road? FCA decided they couldn't let Lamborghini steal the show and have handed over the first Jeep Renegade and Alfa Romeo Giulietta to the Police Academy in Rome. FCA is also loaning two Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloces that will join the two Giulia Quadrifoglios medical cars that are already in service. The Renegade is an four-wheel drive Italian-spec model with a 2.0-liter, 120 horsepower inline four-cylinder engine that we don't get in the United States. The current Giulietta is a small-hatchback that isn't sold in America. On the other hand, the new Giulia and its 280 horsepower turbocharged inline-four and the Q4 all-wheel drive system goes on sale next month. In polizia guise, it's one of the most formidable and beautiful pursuit vehicles on the road. FCA is no stranger to police cars and supplies Dodge Charger Pursuits to fleets all across the US. We spent some time in one a while back and learned all the pros and cons of driving a black and white cruiser. 2014 Jeep Cherokee marketing launches with 'Built Free' commercial

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Now that the 2014 Cherokee is finally on its way to dealerships, Jeep is starting its marketing blitz for its new crossover, beginning with this 60-second TV spot, called Built Free, that premieres today. Set to a Bob Dylan recording, the ad spot discusses something we can all relate to - the feeling of being too busy and too cooped up with everyday tasks to really get out there and explore the world. But as Jeep says in the commercial, "You're still here. And you're still you. The horizons haven't gone anywhere."
Autoblog spoke to Kim Adams-House, head of marketing for the Jeep brand, who explained that this Built Free spot is "an anthemic piece" that "sparks the conversation" for the new Cherokee. As you'll notice, none of the new Jeep's features - its off-road systems, nine-speed automatic transmission, etc. - are mentioned in the ad, but Adams-House says that future marketing "will speak to more" of the CUV's highlights. Following this 60-second spot, 30-second commercials will launch that talk about some of the specific product features.
When asked if the Built Free campaign will include any throwbacks to the original Cherokee, Adams-House told Autoblog that while "we love that vehicle," the new spots are intended to carve out "a unique space for Cherokee in our product portfolio and marketplace." On that same note, don't expect any other Jeep vehicles to get the Built Free treatment. Adams-House said that while this ad "does resonate overall with the brand," it is solely intended to promote the new Cherokee.

Chrysler Recalls Jeep SUVs For Ignition Switches

Wed, Jul 23 2014

The ignition switch defects that engulfed General Motors are now a rapidly growing problem at Chrysler. Chrysler said Tuesday it is recalling up to 792,300 older Jeep SUVs worldwide because the ignition switches could fall out of the "run" position, shutting off the engine and disabling air bags as well as power-assisted steering and braking. That's the same problem that has forced GM to recall more than 15 million cars over the last six months. Chrysler's recall covers 2005-2007 Grand Cherokees and 2006-2007 Commanders. The company said it is not sure exactly how many will be recalled, but said it will notify customers by mid-September. Chrysler said an outside force such as a driver's knee can knock switches out of the "run" position. Engineers are working on a fix. The Auburn Hills, Michigan-based automaker, now part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV, said it knows of no related injuries and only one accident. But it said owners should keep clearance between their knees and keys until repairs are made. Chrysler has now recalled more than 1.7 million vehicles for ignition-switch problems. In June, the company added 696,000 minivans and SUVs to a 2011 recall to fix faulty ignition switches. Those recalls covered Dodge Journey SUVs and Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Caravan and Volkswagen Routan minivans - which Chrysler made for the German automaker - from the 2007 to 2010 model years. Tuesday's recall is the outgrowth of two investigations opened by U.S. safety regulators last month as part of a broader probe into ignition-switch and air-bag problems across the auto industry. The agency wouldn't say Tuesday whether its investigation could lead to recalls at other automakers. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in June that it was investigating Jeep Commanders and Grand Cherokees after getting 32 complaints that a driver's knee can hit the key fob or key chain, causing the ignition switch to move out of position. The federal investigation is still open. The agency said Tuesday that it is requesting additional information from Chrysler to ensure that its repairs will be effective. The investigations and recalls come after GM bungled an ignition-switch recall of older small cars. GM acknowledged that it knew of the ignition problem for more than a decade but failed to recall the cars until earlier this year, when it recalled 2.6 million small cars such as the Chevrolet Cobalt.
