Hello!  My name is Jin, and I am selling my 1989 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer.

Thanks for visiting my auction page! :)

Be sure to watch the video review of the Jeep that I linked below!!.

I had this Jeep for about 1 1/2 years, and I loved every moment that I had with it  :(
I am selling this car only because I have to go live in South Korea for the next 2-3 years.

I took EXCELLENT care of it. And although I never went off roading with this Jeep, I am a Jeep enthusiast!  I took extra care and put in a lot of love into keeping this car in a good condition.
Just like many other Jeep Cherokee owners, I did my own work and maintenance!  So I know very well about what this car is all about!

This car has very low mileage for its age (24 years old).  I purchased this Jeep from an old couple who only used this car for routine grocery shopping.  So it has low miles & never went off road.

Here are some of the work that I did.

1. Mobile 1 High Mileage Synthetic Oil every 5000 miles
2. New 3 row all metal radiator from radiatorbarn. This radiator is the best!! and it has lifetime warranty!
3. New Denso alternator from NAPA
4. New A/C Compressor
5. Routine tune up done by myself
6. New front diamond slotted rotors and brake pads

Here are some of the key features about this Jeep

1. 4x4 Works!!!
2. Power windows work!
3. Cruise control works!!! (lol)
4. New Pioneer stereo system
5. New headliner (nothing is ripping or falling apart)
6/ No Rust, No leaks!!!

Here is my VIDEO REVIEW of the Jeep!

Please watch it!  :P

Few Bad things -
- Power locks don't work :(
- Front driver side speaker does not work (rest work), speakers need to be replaced
- My current tires are 235/75/15, while stock specifications are 215/75/15 (i think) so the tires are larger than it's supposed to be. If you turn your steering wheel ALL THE WAY (and only all the way) to the left, you can hear the tires grinding just a little bit.
- Default installed internal clock is wrong, and I can't reset it.  Clock on the aftermarket stereo is fine though :P
- Front right power window has a little hard time operating.  If I put WD-40 around the window frame, and it works just fine.  But you know... :D

Few other things-

- This car has NEVER been in an accident/theft/flood/etc.. etc.  I paid for this vehicle's complete history report.  I have it in PDF file. I will send it to you if you request it :)
-  I own this vehicle, title is clean, no existing payments left or etc.
-  This Jeep passed VA inspection (VA inspections are pretty annoying...) in 05/13
- This Jeep is still my daily driver!  So, I think mileage could be around 154000-155000 by the time you purchase it.

IMPORTANT:  I leave to South Korea at the end of July.  So if you win the auction, please come pick it up quickly!

If you have ANY questions, feel free to send me a message!!

Thanks!

-Jin

Jeep Begins Fixing 1.56 Million Recalled Grand Cherokee, Liberty SUVs

Tue, Jan 14 2014

Chrysler is just now beginning the big job of fixing 1.56 million older Jeep SUVs seven months after a recall was announced, according to The Detroit News. Jeep Grand Cherokees sold between 1992 and 1998 and Jeep Liberty models sold between 2002 and 2007 are being recalled because the gas tank can leak in the event of a rear-end collision, leading to a fire. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration originally requested the recall of 2.7 million vehicles. Chrysler initially disputed NHTSA's findings and seemed willing to go through a court battle until an 11th-hour deal reduced the number of vehicles involved in the recall. The remaining vehicle owners left out of the recall will receive a "customer service action" notification and may not get fixed. Chrysler says the vehicles are safe and need no repairs. Fixing the 1.56 million Jeeps will cost Chrysler $151 million. NHTSA cited 51 deaths causes by such tank fires. Chrysler plans to install protective trailer hitches to protect the gas tanks, but even the automaker admits the hitches will only provide incremental protection in a low-to-moderate speed rear-end crash. 6 best cars for $5,000

Sat, Aug 11 2018

Looking for a great used car but only have a few thousand bucks to spend? Check out our 6 favorite used vehicles that you can get for around $5,000 or less. 1. 2004-2006 Subaru WRX The Subaru Impreza WRX offers a lot of what you might want in a vehicle. A 2L turbocharged engine gives 227 horsepower and it gets 27 mpg on the highway. 2. 2006-2015 Mazda5 The Mazda5 never got the sales it deserved. It was affordable and more maneuverable than most vehicles, but it never took off. It was based on the Mazda3, and felt like it as well... just a bigger version. If you're lucky, you'll be able to locate one with a manual transmission. 3. 1990-1997 Mazda MX-5 Miata A car that's praised for rewarding the driver. The shifter is sublime, and the controls are light and accurate. The 1.6-liter engine that makes 115 horsepower or a 1.8-liter that makes 128 horsepower are our preferred versions. 4. 2009-2013 Honda Fit Beside being cute, it's supremely practical and great in the city. It manages to be pretty entertaining to drive, and let's not forget it's a hatchback. 5. 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler Yes, it's possible to get a well-loved Jeep Wrangler with about 100,000 miles on the odometer. In many ways, a Wrangler is perfect for the snowy winters with its unrivaled 4x4 capability. An SUV, convertible and icon, all in one? What more could you ask for? 6. 2002 Chevy Silverado Truck lovers, we have you covered. We love the Chevy Silverado with a 5.3-liter V8 engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission. It makes a great second car, especially if you already have a fuel efficient vehicle around the house. What would you buy for $5,000? Jeep rocks the Wrangler Red Rock concept in Vegas [w/video]

Thu, Nov 5 2015

The SEMA show may have once been all about dropping rides to the floor, but these days it's at least as much about jacking them up on lifted suspensions. And few show cars – or trucks, we should say – managed to embody that spirit at this year's tuner exposition quite as well as the Jeep Wrangler Red Rock you see here. The concept started out life as a Wrangler Unlimited, but instead of four doors, it has none. Or any roof, for that matter. Just a roll cage and a windscreen. What it does have are 17-inch wheels wearing 35-inch BF Goodrich tires and fitted to a suspension lifted by two inches. It also has a reinforced tailgate, power winch, tow hooks... everything, in short, that you could want or need for off-roading, and little more. As you can see, it also looks the business, with a custom hood, body-color grille, matte-finish bumpers, and a brown leather interior. Handsome as it is, though, its rugged beauty runs more than skin deep: lift off the sheetmetal and you'd find electronic locking differentials, a transfer case, and solid axles fore and aft. A more extreme take on the existing Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock edition, the Red Rock show truck was done up to honor the organization behind the Easter Jeep Safari that's a favorite among the legions of the Jeep faithful. And while it remains a concept only for the time being, a production version is slated to follow in time to celebrate the event's 50th anniversary next year. Related Video:
