2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
Purchased new, then sold to us in 2005 with 5,300 miles on the clock. This Jeep was given a professionally installed lift, Body Armor front and rear bumpers, as well as solid steel Poison Spider custom fenders on all 4 corners. Full custom roll cage. Both the soft top with tinted windows, and the original hard top are included. K&N Intake helps it breathe well, but otherwise, the engine is completely stock. Terra-Flex releasable anti-sway bar kit, makes it possible to get crazy off road, while safe-on-road. Kenwood stereo with speakers in the roll bar give it excellent sound. The BF Goodrich All Terrain KO tires have under 1K miles. Here is the thing about the miles: This Rubicon has been towed behind a diesel pusher coach for the majority of the time. The true miles, as in 'with engine actually running,' are probably in the 8-9K range. This Jeep is fully setup to be towed, includes a tow bar, and the air-brake system is dialed in for your coach, with brake lights, etc. Have receipts for the work, and much was invested. Roughly $20,000 in extras and no shortcuts were taken. Please come see and drive this Jeep in San Clemente, CA: 92673. If you are serious about off-roading, like the idea of an automatic transmission, and hardly any miles on a Rubicon setup incredibly well, shoot us an offer. Problems: This Jeep has been off-roaded a handful of times. It's obvious, but not trashed. See photos for scuffs and scratches. The paint is not perfect, and has some minor chips and scratches. It shines like crazy however! I'd be happy to help ship this Jeep anywhere on earth. Once funds clear completely, that is. Please ask any questions, and I'll be sure to reply quickly. This Jeep belongs to my Step-Father, who married my fabulous Mother 20 years ago. I'm very aware of where this vehicle has been, and how well it's been cared for. Clear title in hand, and this Jeep was never wrecked. Thanks, and you would look great in this Jeep! -Adam |

Jeep three-row SUV caught on public roads — Grand Wagoneer, perhaps?
Wed, Oct 4 2017For years, it's been rumored that Jeep is working on a full-size three-row crossover. The Grand Cherokee sells well, but it doesn't match the space of its platform sibling, the Dodge Durango. At this year's Shanghai Auto Show, Jeep revealed the Yuntu Concept, a plug-in three-row crossover designed for the Chinese market. While the automaker was adamant that this was just a concept, our spy photographers have seen a prototype running around near FCA's headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Though this is still heavily camouflaged, we can see a few details that show this is indeed a version of the Yuntu. The headlights, taillights and windows are the biggest tells, as they're nothing like what's currently on any production Jeep. The long wheelbase gives away the SUV's three-row nature. We can't make out much else, but expect the final version to look like a Durango-sized version of the new Jeep Compass with a black roof and clear lighting. We don't know what rests under the hood, but the Yuntu concept is a plug-in hybrid. FCA really needs some electrified vehicles in its lineup if it's going to compete with other mainstream automakers. If the Yuntu makes it to production, expect it to wear a name like Grand Wagoneer. We just hope for wood panels. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. 2018 Jeep Compass Trailhawk Drivers' Notes Review | Trying to find its way
Fri, Mar 16 2018The Jeep Compass Trailhawk is the smaller sibling to the Cherokee off-roader. They look a lot alike, and generally that seems to be a good thing. We spent some time with it, both in Michigan and the Pacific Northwest. It seemed like the perfect little ute to tackle rain and late snow, as well as the cratered roads surrounding Detroit every spring. Here's what we thought after spending some quality time together: Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore: The Jeep Compass is one of the coolest compact crossovers you can buy. Jeep has struggled to translate its genetics into smaller models, but they come through in this one. The Trailhawk trim provides plenty of capability. Even if you don't need it on a daily basis, the package adds design flourishes like red tow hooks and a two-tone black roof, which look slick. Our test model's olive green paint also puts off a heritage vibe. I like that. It's subtle, like wearing a watch with a NATO band. The interior looks and feels premium, with leather seats, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and ambient lighting. Uconnect remains one of my favorite infotainment systems on the market, and its simplicity is an industry benchmark. The inline four-cylinder and nine-speed automatic transmission work well together. In fact, the smooth shifting surprises me, as I've had issues with this gearbox in other Fiat Chrysler vehicles. Overall, I would consider the Compass among the better options for car shoppers. It stands out in a segment that's fairly vanilla, though the less flashy but well-executed Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 are formidable. I wouldn't get the Trailhawk trim on a Compass, but it's smart of Jeep to push this kind of off-road capability thoughout its lineup. Associate Editor Joel Stocksdale: I've recently spent some time in the refreshed Jeep Cherokee, which I found to be a decent crossover, if not class-leading, and it had a distinctly truck-like feel, unlike its competitors. The Compass Trailhawk is just the same, except at about 2/3 scale. The truck-like feel is what really stood out. The seating position is very tall, giving you a good view forward and of the corners of the Compass. Combined with the small size, it makes it very easy to maneuver around town, and likely on tight trails. The ride on this Trailhawk model is a bit stiff over small bumps, but it does soak up the large ones fairly well. This suspension and the raised ride height also make the Compass seem a little tipsy.
Excavator in China bashes BMW and Jeep out of the way
Tue, Jun 2 2015This Chinese construction site apparently has a zero tolerance policy towards obstacles getting in the way of work. When blocked by a Jeep and a BMW, the operator of this excavator pushes the two vehicles out of the way like they're toys. The Bimmer gets the brunt of the abuse, with the sedan getting lodged up against a fence. The exact context of this clip isn't entirely known, but The Mirror in Britain speculates the vehicles are illegally parked. But that doesn't explain why the excavator crashes through a gate later in the video. Also, this doesn't appear to be the case of a rogue operator taking out some frustrations, because a man with a walkie-talkie is leading the way and seemingly directing the destruction. Nonetheless, getting permission to knock these cars around was probably the highlight of this driver's day. News Source: The Mirror, AOL On BMW Jeep Crossover Videos Sedan
