This is a 2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ that has 54,376 miles on it (it is still my daily driver so this will change). This was the last year for this model and the 2 door LJ. You will not find a nicer one around. The jeep has a Rough Country 3.25 inch suspension lift kit with 33x12.50 Mickey Thompson Baja Claw tires. The tires are on a 15 inch Mickey Thompson rim and they have no more then 7,000 miles on them. Also comes with the stock set of tires and rims that are plasti-dipped and have good tread. The jeep has an aftermarket Alpine radio deck with all new alpine speakers that are loud and clear(still have all the boxes). The work was all done professionally and the jeep is also wired for subs. It will come with a 20 inch light bar on the front bumper, a 20 inch light bar on the hood, and a 52 inch light bar above the windshield. The light bars are all mounted using Rough Country brackets that all line up top factory holes so no drilling was needed. Pods on the back bumper for night time when needing to back up. All of them are wired to their own switch. It comes with a soft top and hard top that are both in great condition and the soft top has no tears. The interior has no tears in the seats and the heat and a/c work great. Quadratec mirrors that slip in the door hinges so when you take the doors off, you will still have mirrors. Also have the original OEM side steps. If you want more pictures please let me know. The hardtop is going back on this weekend and can take more updated pictures of that. The ONLY reason I am selling this is due to the fact I need to commute 2 hours to school and need something better on gas. My loss is your gain!!!

North Carolina driver charged for flattening Trump sign
Thu, Mar 17 2016Police in Wilmington, NC are investigating a viral video that shows a local man driving off the road to run over a Trump for President campaign sign. Julien Schuessler of Wilmington posted a video to Facebook on March 15 showing him driving his white Jeep off the road in a reckless manner to smash a Trump sign. He captioned the video, "I love having a Jeep sometimes." The video immediately went viral, reaching nearly a million views and 25,000 shares in less than twenty-four hours. Any elation Schuessler may have felt at having his video go viral was short lived, though. According to WWAY, Wilmington Police were tipped off to the existence of the video on the afternoon of March 16. They were, understandably, less than pleased. In an official tweet, WPD stated that they were aware of the video and were investigating. A spokesperson for the WPD stated that Schuessler faces multiple charges for his little stunt, including hit and run, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane control. WWAY reached out to Schuessler for comment, but he has declined to respond. 2018 Jeep Wrangler First Drive Review | Improving an Icon
Wed, Dec 13 2017TUCSON, Ariz. — We crawled, with the lightest possible touch of the accelerator pedal, over a boulder-strewn mountain peak just outside of Tucson. We'd been driving for a few hours already, through city streets, along the highway, through twisty stretches just outside of Saguaro National Park. But it wasn't until we were pointed skyward, at such a severe vertical incline that we could only barely make out the hands of the trail guide ahead, that we knew Jeep had nailed the 2018 Wrangler redesign. That light-bulb moment was punctuated by the screeching steel impact of a skid plate along the jagged edge of a boulder. There's just something that feels right about a vehicle designed with purity of purpose. Leave the one-size-fits-all approach to the midsize crossover; stop attempting to be all things to all people like the midsize sedan. The problem with narrow-minded vehicles, though, is that they all require some sort of significant compromise to live with on a daily basis. With the latest version of the iconic Wrangler, Jeep set out to banish as much compromise as possible. Smoothed-out corners and lightweight materials improve efficiency, a range of engine choices opens the envelope to a larger swath of buyers, and big infotainment screens and backup cameras make the 2018 Wrangler easier to live with than ever before. But that essential purity of purpose remains intact. The latest Wrangler is better in every way than its predecessor, a fact that rings true no matter what type of terrain you're driving on. A casual observer may not notice the subtle exterior tweaks made to the 2018 Wrangler, codenamed JL, over the JK model it replaces. The round headlights, LED units on higher-end models, now cut into the outer two vertical grille slats, which are canted back just enough to make a difference in the wind tunnel. The windshield, too, is swept back further than ever before, but not so much that it messes up the Wrangler's timeless design. Hood and door latches are still externally bolted to the body — crucially allowing the doors and windshield to be removed or folded down for the pinnacle of open-air motoring — like little lumps of clay the designer forgot to smooth out. Vents in the front fenders reduce underhood pressure and keep the hood from writhing about at speed as it did on Wrangler models in the past. So picky are Wrangler customers that Jeep's decision to move the turn signals ignited a thousand threads on internet forums worldwide.
