What you are viewing is a 1989 Jeep Wrangler 4x4. It has a Chevy small block 350 with a Holley Avenger 4x4 carburetor, SM 465 4 gear transmission and a cast 205 transfer case. Tom Woods drive shafts feeding into International Scout Dana 44s. The Dana 44s have chromoly shafts. Rear is drum brake. Front is disk brake. Lockouts on the front. It is also equipped with an onboard air system with a tank in the back and a fitting in the front. Full 6 point roll cage tied into the frame. Tires are 38 1/2 TSL Boggers 38.5/15 50-15. Tires are about 65%. Tires also have staun inner bead locks in them. It also has a spare on a swing away rear bumper. In the back of the interior is the fuel cell which holds 15 gallons of fuel. Also an extra 5 gallon can is mounted to the inside. The seats are Summit Racing seats with 4 point harnesses. All the gauges are digital except the tachometer which is analog. Also has a full Alpine stereo system including CD player in it with speaker boxes rhinolined. The stereo also has a marine cover over it so that it does not matter if it gets wet. It has also has a 12,000 lbs. winch with synthetic rope, custom front and rear bumpers. Also has a 40" LED light on front above windshield on the outside rollbar. Also has two small LED's mounted on rear bumper. Really bright at night. Has a CB, power inverter, Optima yellow top battery, new alternator, new long nose water pump, new 3 core radiator with a spare, also a hood mounted high lift jack, and bikini top. Spare axles, spare drive shafts and various other spares, ie, heim joints, lockouts. It runs very well. Haven't really met that we could not conquer with this vehicle. The steering is a little loose but it drives up and down the road fine. We mainly use it for off road. (The road wears the tires down way too fast!)

Jeep Wrangler Dragon Edition coming to North America
Thu, 12 Sep 2013If 2012 was the year of the dragon in China, perhaps the US can claim 2014. After showing the Jeep Wrangler Dragon Design Concept at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, and apparently receiving "tremendously positive feedback" from Jeep enthusiasts across the globe, the automaker has decided to introduce a production version that will hit US showrooms this fall with a price of $36,095.
"The dragon symbolizes strength and power and is an aspirational character normally associated with royalty and good fortune," says Jeep, and that apparently equates to a blacked-out Wrangler Unlimited with bronze satin gloss highlights inside and out, along with big dragon decals that start on the hood and run down the fenders. There are 18-inch matte black wheels with a bronze outer edges, and a dragon-emblazoned spare tire cover completes the look.
We suggest you peruse the high-res image gallery above to see all the black and bronze detailing yourself, and make special note of the interior. In related news, all 2014 Jeep Wrangler models get an optional Trail Kit and clear park lamps to replace the previous amber units. New colors include Amp'd, Anvil, Copperhead, Flame Red, Granite Crystal and Hydro Blue (Freedom edition only), which join carryover colors Billet Silver, Bright White, Black and Dune.

Autoblog fan favorite car ads from Super Bowl XLIX
Mon, Feb 2 2015Super Bowl XLIX is in the books, and the New England Patriots emerged victorious. Of course, if you're like us, the big game wasn't so much about the battle between the east coast and west, so much as a fight between the world's automotive advertisers. We collected and collated all of last night's new ads and put them together for you to vote on. And yes, we're limiting this year's contest to last night's new features. That's why you aren't seeing Dodge's epic Wisdom among our collection of commercials, and it's a similar story with Chevrolet's Truck Guy Focus Group series, which highlights the new Colorado. You can still vote for your favorites. We won't be closing the voting on our Super Bowl page, so while the winners and losers are correct as of this writing, it's entirely possible that there could be some changes in the rankings as time goes on. So, without any further ado, here are the winning ads based on your voting. Nissan: With Dad Fiat: Ready For Action Jeep: Beautiful Lands BMW: Newfangled Idea Mercedes-Benz: Fable NASCAR: America Start Your Engines As for those ads that failed to impact you, loyal readers, Toyota was the absolute, undisputed loser. The Japanese brand ran four ads in total – two for Toyota and two for Lexus – and all of them have negative tallies as of this writing. Lexus' Make Some Noise and Lets Play and Toyota's One Bold Choice and My Bold Dad both had very weak showings among the commercials that aired, although they weren't alone. Neither Mazda nor Kia scored particularly well, despite featuring celebrity magic act Penn and Teller and former James Bond, Pierce Brosnan, respectively. Chevrolet was the winner of the losers, as of our writing, recording the fewest downvotes for its audience-punking The Big Game ad. If you want to take a second look at the losing ads, you can head back to our Super Bowl page for the complete collection. But for now, head into Comments and let us know what you think of the results.
