Super nice and well built Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. Dual tops are both black. One owner bought new in Portsmouth,
NH. Serviced at Jeep dealer and oil changed regularly within or before suggested intervals. 46,4xx miles and
driving almost daily. Approx 12k miles on 35" Goodyear Wrangler MTRs with Kevlar mounted on Rugged Ridge Drakon
wheels. Tires have 3/4 tread left. Wheels are in perfect condition. 2" Teraflex coil spacer lift is subtle and
gives enough clearance for trails but retains factory ride on the road. Teraflex steering stabilizer. Shrockworks
mid width front winch bumper is the best heavy duty bumper you can buy. Mounted inside this bumper and concealed
nicely behind a metal cover plate is an Engo 10,000 lb winch with synthetic rope. Also mounted an Expedition One
rear bumper with swing out tire carrier. This is the best rear bumper / tire carrier on the market, and pivots out
when opening the rear door. It is heavy duty and rattle free. Mounted to this tire carrier is also a high lift
jack.
We recently purchased a third vehicle and one has to go. If you are looking for a no nonsense and carefully thought
out build on a Rubicon, this may be your jeep. It has been well cared for (not left with top down in the rain) and
so the interior is very nice. No rips, burns, stains, etc. I had great plans to go off road / camping more
frequently, but our family has only gone trail riding a handful of times. We used the winch once (and it was
awesome) to get up a muddy incline. This is an incredibly capable vehicle we just don't use off road enough to keep
it.

Six 'shut up and take my money' cars
Tue, 11 Nov 2014Any time you see this iconic moment in pop culture - Shut up and take my money! - posted in response to a new car reveal, rumor for an upcoming model or even lip-service to a vehicle that should exist, you can bet there's some intrinsic good in the idea. Though depending on the person offering up the cash, that good could take the form of extraordinary form, functionality, weight savings, power, handling, etc. You get the idea.
In fact, when I first proposed this list, I reached out to the Autoblog staff to help me brainstorm. Here are some of the ideas they offered up that I ultimately didn't use: Jaguar XE Coupe, Pagani Huayra Roadster, Mercedes-Benz S-Class "parade car" (cabriolet), Morgan 3-Wheeler with Ducati V-twin, Ford Transit Connectamino (pickup), Mercedes CLA63 AMG, Ford Fusion 5.0, BMW i8 Spyder, Lexus RC-F Shooting Brake, Volvo XC90 Polestar. Oh, and things we collectively wanted to stick Dodge's Hellcat in were almost as numerous as models that Fiat Chrysler Automotive currently makes (though none quite so compelling as the Grand Cherokee you see above.)
Ultimately though, while I used a couple of ideas from my colleagues, the list of cars I'd shell out for unquestionably is very personal. Though it isn't complete, what follows is a selection of cars whose very existence would prompt me - or the trust-fund-baby versions of me - to utter without hesitation: "Shut up and take my money."
2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee spied looking refreshed
Wed, Nov 25 2015Jeep is preparing another facelift for the Grand Cherokee. Spied here undergoing testing, the updates to the upscale SUV look like they'll be fairly limited in scope. The current WK2-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee was introduced in 2010 as a 2011 model, replacing the round-eyed WK model that had been around since 2005. It underwent a mild update last year and is now gearing up for another round. This refresh appears to have a new front fascia with wider-spaced grille slats, and though hidden from view, will likely incorporate a restyled bumper with new fog lights. Expect some revisions inside the cabin to accompany the new face, and some updated engines, too. The current base model's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 is anticipated to offer more power and get better fuel economy, plus offer flex-fuel capability. Of course, the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 will also likely be offered, and if we're lucky, an even more powerful SRT performance model, too. The updated JGC is expected to arrive in the first quarter of the new year. Jeep will be marking its 75th anniversary then, so expect some special editions of this and other models in the portfolio to arrive in true Jeep style. In the meantime, you can check out the spy shots in the gallery above. Related Video:
FCA CEO Mike Manley will take undefined new role after PSA merger
Wed, Dec 18 2019MILAN — Fiat Chrysler Chief Executive Mike Manley will remain with the new group set to result from a planned merger with French rival PSA-Peugeot, Chairman John Elkann said on Wednesday. In a letter to Fiat Chrysler (FCA) employees on the day the two companies announced a binding agreement for a $50 billion tie-up to create the world's fourth-largest carmaker, Elkann said he was "delighted" that the combined group would be led by current PSA CEO Carlos Tavares. "And Mike Manley, who has led FCA with huge energy, commitment and success over the past year, will be there alongside him," he said. He did not say what position Manley would hold. Elkann — who will chair the new group — said there was still much to be done to complete the merger. "Over the coming months we must work tirelessly and determinedly to fulfill all the approval requirements needed to finalize the commitment we have signed," he said.
