1995 Jeep Wrangler 4x4. 2.5 litre  4 cylinder, automatic transmission. Has 143,000 miles. Body has little to no rust. Frame is solid.  Floors are solid, small patched area at the drain holes on both front floorboards. Carpet was removed before we bought it. Had a new bikini top on it when we bought it and this will be included. We added the hard top which is in very good condition. It originally had a hard top but the rear window was broken out and to replace the window assembly was the same price as the new top. The tailgate has a little bend in it, the spare tire rack was damaged when we got it.That is probably what happened to the rear window.  I removed the rack and added the third brake light as it was required for inspection. She liked the jeep better without the rack on the back for visibility. The spare tire is included. This was my daughters first car. She drove it for about 1 year until a Toyota pick-up we had been trying to purchase became available. It has been very dependable for her. I drove it to work for several weeks with no issues. Gas mileage is 14-15 mpgs around town. Not sure highway mileage.  The throttle position sensor was just replaced. The temperature sensor was also just replaced. Have a new, never installed crank position sensor that will be included. Was told to keep a spare one in the glove box for emergencies. Cost $60 at Kunkles in Bel-Air.  Jeep is currently inspected through November of 2013. The engine runs well and the trans shifts as it should. The 4 wheel drive works with no issues. The interior is in pretty good shape for the year. The drivers seat bottom has some cracking at the seams on the side. The other seats are very nice. The carpet is in place on the back wheel wells. The rear window wiper is functional but needs a wiper blade. The windshield wipers were installed before it got inspected. Tires are about 50% tread. The jeep is all stock and is in better than average condition. It passed inspection with no problems or issues other than a loose muffler clamp that makes a rattle at certain engine rpms. Overall it is very nice. Mileage when purchased was 134000.  We bought it from a local dealer for $3500 plus tax and title, and paid $450 for the hard top. Jeep was awesome and very fun to drive. Would make an excellent first vehicle. My daughter passed her drivers licence test on the first try in this Jeep. Hope the good luck continues with the next lucky owner. Thanks for looking.

Chrysler readying 20 Moparized vehicles for SEMA

Tue, 08 Oct 2013

The Las Vegas Convention Center has plenty of space for aftermarket companies and automakers to show off their wares, and it looks like Chrysler is taking advantage of the spacious floor plan. At next month's SEMA Show, Chrysler will have a full 20 cars from its six brands decked out with Mopar gear.
As a hint of what is to come, Chrysler released a handful of teaser sketches showing glimpses of modified Jeep Cherokee, Ram 1500, Fiat 500L and Chrysler 300 concept vehicles. The automaker will also use the venue to show off a new line of Jeep Performance Parts offered by the all-new Mopar Off-Road Division. In addition to the images, Chrysler also issued a brief press release - posted below - breaking down some of the "industry-first features" that Mopar has offered in recent years.

Jeep Wrangler Scrambler pickup tailgate spied uncovered

Wed, May 2 2018

Jeep has been particularly good at keeping the upcoming Jeep Wrangler pickup truck, affectionately referred to as Scrambler, under wraps, literally. It's very rare to see any portion of the truck sans bulky black fabric. But this time Jeep slipped up and left the tailgate of the truck totally exposed except for some paint. Not surprisingly, there aren't any spare tire mounts here. Previous photos have shown the spare will be mounted underneath the bed, and we haven't seen any running around with tires on the back. There also aren't any logos stamped into the bed, so presumably Jeep will simply slap badges on the back. The shape is also in keeping with the current Wrangler's design. It's chunky and chiseled, but the edges are softened a bit. It's also less straight-edged than what we've seen in renderings. We're currently expecting the Wrangler pickup to arrive at dealers next year. And now that the last JK Wrangler has been built, the factory should be gearing up for truck production. We know that the truck will feature a longer frame with rear suspension that is similar to the Ram 1500. And like all other Wranglers, the top should be removable. Jeep Yuntu three-row crossover spied testing on public roads

Tue, Jan 2 2018

Jeep is doing very well, especially compared to most other FCA brands. Still, there's a three-row sized hole in the automaker's lineup. In April 2017, the Jeep Yuntu made its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show. While that plug-in hybrid was just a concept, we now have a second set of spy shots showing that a road-going Yuntu is deep into development. Even with the black and white camouflage, there's no mistaking this for anything other than a Jeep. The new model looks like a larger Grand Cherokee with styling elements cribbed from the new Compass and refreshed Cherokee, though the profile unsurprisingly reminds us of the Dodge Durango (essentially a three-row Grand Cherokee). The thin headlights and taillights have made it over from the concept, though both are toned down for the production version. A three-row Jeep is all but officially confirmed for the US. The real question is what it will be called. We doubt Americans will fall head over heels for a American vehicle named the Yuntu. Reviving the Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer nameplates seems far more likely. We can only speculate on powertrains, but considering the Yuntu concept was a plug-in hybrid, expect some flavor of electrification. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party.
