This Jeep has been driven daily for the last three years."

I bought this Jeep 3 years ago for my wife. My son and I stripped it down and completely sanded tub. We  rhino lined the entire tub adding the following:

New bar padding, new Rampage top with tinted windows, Cover King Neoprene seat covers, Heated seats X3, Dash trim kit, New mirrors, new tunnel for heater, new tires, new rims, back-up camera, front u-joints, Marine amplifier (for when the tops down), new CD player, New wedge speakers, side and front speakers, New seatbelts, New SAFE box for center, Shifter extensions, Clutch and brake pedal rubber, New top interior light, New windshield, Air horn, Tune up, New window top rails. New top support bars, New top rails for top, Tail light guards, Fog lights, grille inserts, Steering column (used), New track bar and pitman arm.

We bought two sets of seat covers for the front, so a new set will be put on before you buy it. The tires are about  70%, I just rotated the tires and checked the front and back brakes, they are about 55-60%. I also saved the old windows and extra snaps and etc.

This has for three years and is still being driven daily by my wife (65 miles daily). We have only tuned up the motor, it is a strong running motor. We was told by a mechanic that it was replaced, but have no proof of this. it has a flow master muffler which I have never liked. The transmission is strong and only shifts hard when its really cold. (due to the shifter boots being stiff from the cold) I had always planned on getting some made from leather. The Jeep is a 1992 so it rides like a 1992 (leaf springs not coils) but drives well. The tires are worn evenly and no dips or tread problems. It has a dent on the left front behind the tire due to a blow out from the previous owner. The side rails at the bottom are starting to show some signs of surface rust. I just installed a New TREX fuel tank with new cover and straps, and a Battery a while ago.

Pictures include tub prior to being Rhino lined, view of rear view camera, front and back brakes, tire tread, marine amp set up on pedestals, and etc

Ask any questions and I will try try to awnser them promptly. This is for sale locally and we could end the auction early if it sells. We have 95% of the receipts. We are only selling this due to my wife wanting a car/suv with more room for our teenage children.

Jeep dealer buries WWII Willys GP in showroom floor

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

The Willys MB Jeep earned icon status during World War II thanks to its ruggedness, simplicity and go-anywhere ability. Following the war, it didn't take long for the handy vehicles to be scooped up by the public, and a brand slowly grew around the vehicles that has continued to thrive. Fast-forward to present day, where it's not uncommon for auto dealers to try to grab some of the magic of yesteryear by displaying classic models to connect customers with their brands' proud histories. Now, a Canadian Chrysler Group dealer is taking that notion to the extreme by actually making a vintage WWII Jeep part of its foundation.
Bay King Chrysler in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, recently completed its new showroom, and the franchise really wanted to show its dedication to the Jeep brand. As dealer principal Jamie Richter tells Autoblog, the inspiration for the Jeep installation came from his brother, who became fascinated with a home that had a glass floor looking down into its wine cellar. The company already had the 1943 Willys MB to display, but it had originally planned to build a jungle gym around it for customers' kids. Now, the classic is literally in the floor as customers enter. Richter tells Autoblog that customer reaction so far has been "fantastic."
It's certainly a novel way to bring people into the showroom, and seemingly a nice nod not only to Jeep, but to the men and women who served in the war. If you want to see more about how the Jeep was actually installed and what it looks like, check out this video.

Why the 2020 Jeep Gladiator isn't called a Scrambler

Thu, Nov 29 2018

After years of development and constant digging by spy photographers and forum users alike, there wasn't a whole lot surprising about the 2020 Jeep Gladiator reveal. But one thing that was a bit unexpected was the name. While never officially announced, the Internet had accepted the name Scrambler for the Jeep pickup and it was referred to as such until just before the reveal. There are reasons for the Gladiator name choice. Jeep representatives explained that one of the reasons for the choice of Gladiator is because of the Jeep Gladiator concept truck from 2005. That concept led to many rumors of a Wrangler-related pickup truck, and you can see some design influence from it on the current truck. Of course the concept was just a two-door extended-cab pickup. Also, besides the concept heritage, the Gladiator name was shared with the longest-running Jeep pickup truck line, the Gladiator and J-Series. The Jeep folks also noted that they wanted to avoid the Scrambler name because they felt the old Scrambler wasn't enough of a full-on truck, and the company wanted to emphasize that the new Gladiator is a true truck designed to be a truck. The original '80s Scrambler was effectively a stretched CJ-7, and practically called CJ-8, with a longer cargo area. It was mainly a truck because it was available with a half-cab top. But it was also available for a full-length wagon top eventually. So the Scrambler was more related to the first Wrangler Unlimited, which was a stretched two-door Wrangler, than to the new Gladiator, which has a unique frame, unique rear suspension and a separate bed and cab. If we're being honest, we don't think the Scrambler name would have been a problem. It's clear that Jeep fans are very fond of the name, and it would fit the idea of a Wrangler truck. But we also certainly don't have a problem with the Gladiator name either. It's equally historic, and even if it wasn't, it sure sounds great, evoking toughness and capability. Perhaps if people are really bothered by the truck not being called Scrambler, Jeep can roll out a graphics package as a tribute to the old models. Related Video:
