Selling my 1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ. This Jeep has always been garaged since I have owned it. I bot this jeep originally 6 years ago to drive back and forth to work, (it was not in the shape it is now), I thought it would be a fun way to travel back and forth. I then started removing things, and the next thing I knew, I had stripped the entire interior and fenders off the jeep. I also removed all the hinges and roll bar. I purchased a family roll bar out of a 1992 Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep tub was sanded down and the roll bars were sand blasted, then both were turbo lined professionally. The Jeep was painted its factory Metallic Blue. I installed all new smitybilt fenders, rock sliders and panels. I installed a hood scoop and had it turbo lined. Any screws I removed I replaced with stainless steel screws. Below is a list of some of the things I have done to the jeep.

New seats and seat belts
New center console
New custom covered door panels and door pulls
New roll bar covers and Master Craft roll bar grabs
New steering wheel
New shifter boots and custom blown glass shifter knobs to match Jeep
New stereo and speakers, and speaker boxes with subs and amp
New Windshield and seals
New door seals
New powder coated stainless steel mirrors
New powder coated stainless steel hinges on both side doors and rear door
New powder coated stainless steel TJ hood latches and hood hinges and hood vent cover
New Smitybilt front bumper a used Warn winch(it needs one of the relays replaced)
New tire carrier rear bumper
New High Lift jack
New LED tail lights
New Bilstein shocks
Installed a Chrysler 8 1/4 rear axle with chromoly shafts and Yukon gears 456 gear ratio
New Airaid air intake
New Spark plugs and wires
35x12.5x18 Toyo MT ties
Rockstar rims
4 inch suspension lift and a 2 inch body lift
New Magnaflow muffler
New Exhaust manifold

The temp gauge is not working, and the fuel gauge works but is not very accurate. All other gauge work great.

Please note Jeep runs and drives great but the front axle still needs to be geared to 456 gears(just had not gotten to that yet)

I finished all this 3 years ago and have driven the jeep 6 times in the last 3 years(that is the exact number of times) I start it a few times a month but drove it only for its oil changes and on the 4th of july to watch the fireworks. The Jeep has not seen any rain, snow, or dirt in 5 years. I only have the bikini top for it(never planed on driving it in the elements.) I do have brackets for the soft top, that will come with the jeep. I know I have forgot some stuff but please email any question you may have.

Please ask any questions you have before bidding.

Successful buyer will be responsible for pickup or delivery. Deposit of 1000 dollars within 48 hours of purchase.

Please don't bid unless you already have financing and plan to pay. I don't want to waist mine or your time. I will file a non paying bidder if the bidder does not pay.

Thanks for looking.

Chrysler accelerates Jeep recall repairs from 2018 to March

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

You may remember that Jeep's unusual fix for this recall involves fitting a trailer hitch.
The recall of about 1.5 million models of the 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty and 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee over fuel tanks may finish far sooner than originally estimated. In a new filing from Jeep's parent, Chrysler Group, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company says that it can complete the repairs for the affected vehicles by March 2015, much sooner than the previous estimate of sometime in 2018. Jeep predicts the total cost of the campaign will be around $151 million.

Jeep will build old Wranglers next to new ones in Toledo

Mon, Mar 21 2016

Jeep made a lot of people happy when it confirmed that the next-generation Wrangler would continue to be built in Toledo, OH. Now, news is breaking about the lengths the automaker will go to in updating its northern Ohio factory. There's good news for Jeep dealers (more Wranglers to sell!), Jeep fans (more JKs to buy!), and Jeep itself (more money to be made!). According to a report from Automotive News, capacity at the factory will be increased to 350,000 units per year. That's around a 50 percent increase over what the Toledo complex can currently manage and is, according to Jeep boss Mike Manley, part of a move to keep production "at the right place" so "supply [stays] just behind demand." The other big news revealed by the AN report focuses on the future of the current Wrangler. Yes, the current JK has a future. It'll continue to be built at the Toledo factory up to six months after it successor arrives in showrooms, a move that's partially down to the way Jeep is shuffling production about. Toledo currently builds the Cherokee on a unibody production line – it'll continue to do so until March of 2017, when production will move to Belvidere, IL. The unibody line in Toledo will then be converted for body-on-frame production, which should take about six months. But during that time, the current JK (likely rebadged as a "Wrangler Classic") will continue to be built alongside another line of next-generation Wranglers, keeping dealers supplied with the today's Wrangler through March of 2018. The two Wranglers will overlap for about six months. This is all very good news if you've been waiting to pull the trigger on today's Wrangler. But move quickly – the clock is officially ticking. Jeep Wrangler with turbo four now available for order – at $3,000 extra

Wed, Feb 7 2018

As a break from tradition, the JL body Jeep Wrangler will be available with a turbocharged gasoline four-cylinder engine. Sources say the 268-horsepower, 295 lb-ft turbo four is now available to be ordered from Jeep dealers, according to a post at the JL Wrangler forums. The kicker is that even though choosing the 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo is a $1,000 option over the base, 285-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 with 260 lb-ft of torque, it will only be available with an eight-speed automatic transmission which is itself a $2,000 option, bringing the turbo total to $3,000. Reasons to go for the blown four banger include most likely better fuel economy and improved full-throttle acceleration, even if a six-speed stick shift option would be a good companion for a turbo engine. Our test drive in December noted the overall gearing of the automatic to be quite low, which traditionally compromises fuel economy. Interestingly, there will be a "mild" eTorque plug-in hybrid version of the JL Wrangler in 2020, based on the aforementioned turbo engine. The other upcoming engine option will be a 3.0-liter V6 diesel, with a nearly similar 260-hp power figure but a more substantial 442 lb-ft torque reading.
