Hello! I am selling my 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport (3.7L V6) with 4WD. I purchased it from my Aunt (who was the original owner) in April 2011. At that time it had 86,370 miles on it. Since then I have used it to exclusively to commute from Daytona Beach to Miami for work. It currently has 131,630 miles on it so that means that have put 45,259 miles on it in the 32 months I have owned it. These miles have been very easy "highway miles" mostly on I-95. I have never hauled or towed anything (in fact it does not have a hitch installed) and I have never been off-roading etc. It does have 4WD however I have never actually used it for its intended purpose other than regularly engaging it to keep all of the moving parts lubricated.
The Liberty is in very good condition. You would never know that this is a 12 year old SUV with 131,629 miles. Overall, the paint and interior are near perfect. It does not have any accident/damage history. I am a neat person who always keeps my vehicles nice. I am not a smoker and there have never been any animals inside of it. The best feature of this Jeep is the maintenance history. Since I was always paranoid about breaking down on the side of I-95 I have done a lot of preventative maintenance that I am sure will be better than any other Liberty on the market. I will provide you with every receipt. Below is a full timeline of the maintenance history: 86,370 04/21/11 Purchased Jeep 86,500 05/01/11 Steiger Window Repair Kit (Rear Left) 90 Day Warranty 86,625 05/11/11 Engine Oil (Castrol Black Edge 5W30 Synthetic) & Filter (Bosch) 86,625 05/11/11 Fuel System Treatment (Lucas) 86,625 05/11/11 Fuel Filter (Az Filters) 86,625 05/11/11 Hood Support Lifts (Mighty Lift) 1 Year Warranty 86,625 05/11/11 Idler/Tensioner Pulleys (Duralast) 1 Year Warranty 87,600 05/25/11 Transmission Oil (Coastal ATF+4) & Both Filters 90,338 07/06/11 Front Brakes (Duralast Gold Cmax) Limited Lifetime Warranty 90,353 07/06/11 (4) Firestone Tires (Destination LE) & Alignment 60,000 Warranty 91,001 08/02/11 Both Windshield Wipers (Duralast Flex) 91,021 08/03/11 Recall: Upper and Lower Ball Joints 91,021 08/03/11 Rear Differential Breather Tube 92,160 09/27/11 Exterior Wax & Detailing 92,187 09/27/11 AC Compressor, Accumulator & Orifice Tube 2 Year Warranty 92,187 09/27/11 Serpentine Belt (Dayco) 3 Year Warranty 94,484 10/19/11 Spark Plugs (Autolite Copper) 94,484 10/19/11 Engine Oil (Mobile 1 5W30 Synthetic) & Filter (Mobil 1) 94,484 10/19/11 Fuel System Treatment (Lucas) 94,508 10/19/11 Coolant System Flush 94,508 10/19/11 Tire Rotation & Alignment 99,589 12/31/11 Tire Rotation 99,589 12/31/11 Fuel System Service & Fuel System Treatment 99,600 12/31/11 Alpine Stereo and SiriusXM Tuner 99,726 01/04/12 Gabriel Ultra Shocks (Rear) Limited Lifetime Warranty 99,726 01/04/12 PCV Valve (Az Filters) 99,912 01/04/12 Alpine Speakers (Front and Rear) 101,148 02/07/12 Read Window Support Lifts (Mighty Lift) 1 Year Warranty 103,932 03/21/12 Oil (Mobile 1 High Mileage 5W30 Synthetic) & Filter (Mobile 1) 103,932 03/21/12 Fuel System Treatment (Lucas) 103,932 03/21/12 Air Filter (Fram) 103,932 03/21/12 Driver’s Side Windshield Wiper (Duralast Flex) 105,555 04/05/12 Tire Rotation 106,158 04/18/12 Window Tint (Front) 110,276 07/06/12 Tire Rotation 110,334 07/10/12 Exterior Wax & Detailing 112,732 08/04/12 Oil (Mobile 1 High Mileage 5W30 Synthetic) & Filter (Bosch) 112,732 08/04/12 Fuel System Treatment (Lucas) 115,664 10/10/12 Steiger Window Repair Kit (Rear Right) 90 Day Warrant 115,664 10/10/12 Idler/Tensioner Pulley (Dayco) 1 Year Warranty 115,664 10/10/12 Idler/Tensioner Pulley (Auto Plus) 115,693 10/11/12 Fuel Treatment (Lucas) 119,020 11/25/12 (2) Firestone Tires (Destination LE) & Alignment 60,000 Warranty 121,390 12/31/12 Oil (Mobile 1 5W30 Synthetic & Filter (Mobile 1) 121,390 12/31/12 Air Filter (Fram) 121,390 12/31/12 Both Windshield Wipers (Bosch Evolution) 121,488 01/02/13 Alternator (Duralast) Lifetime Warranty 121,488 01/02/13 Water Pump (Duralast) Lifetime Warranty 121,488 01/02/13 Thermostat (Duralast) 1 Year Warranty 121,488 01/02/13 Radiator Hoses (Dayco) 3 Month Warranty and Clamps 121,488 01/02/13 Coolant System Flush (MOPAR) 121,488 01/02/13 Belt Tensioner (Duralast) 1 Year Warranty 121,488 01/02/13 Serpentine Belt (Dayco) 3 Year Warranty 121,488 01/02/13 Power Steering Fluid Flush (Lucas) 121,488 01/02/13 Fuel System Treatment (Lucas) 124,425 04/03/13 Tire Rotation 124,470 04/04/13 Exterior Wax & Detailing 125,302 04/24/13 Fuel Cap (CST) 130,132 06/29/13 Oil (Mobile 1 5W30 Synthetic & Filter (Fram HM) Next Tire Rotation: 134,425 Next Oil Change: 140,132 You can study the full maintenance history above but some things worth noting are: New air conditioning, new alternator, new water pump, new radiator hoses, and new belt/pulleys. High-end Alpine stereo with Sirius XM satellite radio and CD player. There is also a USB port to listen to and/or charge external devices (like an iPhone or iPod). High-end Alpine speakers front and rear. Rear windows repaired to prevent the famous Liberty "collapsing window defect". All recalls complied with including the recent airbag recall. I purchased four new Firestone tires (Destination LE) in July 2011 at 90,353 miles. 15 months later I picked up a large screw in one of the tires. Rather than patching it I opted to replace it because I was concerned about the fact that I mainly drive at highway speed. Because I wanted to keep the tires even I decided to also replace a second tire with a new tire and I put the old tire on the spare wheel. So this means that two of the tires have 12,609 miles on them and the other two have 41,276 miles on them. They all look great and have worn evenly. I always rotated them at 10,000 mile intervals. The Jeep is located in Daytona Beach, Florida. I will be happy assist in any way but it is ultimately the buyer's responsibility to pick it up or to arrange for shipping. You are also welcome to see it in person. I can also provide you with any specific photos. Jeep Liberty comes with the owners manual, service records and receipts, lug nut lock removal tool (for spare wheel), two keyless entry keychains, two keys and one valet key. I will also include the OEM stereo if you are interested. I know that buying a vehicle on eBay is a little scary! I promise that there is nothing I want more than for you to be happy with this purchase. I have sold several personal motor vehicles on eBay over the years including a pickup truck, a car, a jet ski and a few motorcycles all with great success and a 100% feedback rating. Please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you very much for looking! |

This incredibly detailed toy Jeep will set you back $2,300 [w/video]
Wed, Dec 30 2015When I was a kid, I desperately wanted one of those Power Wheels Ford-badged Big Foot impersonators. They were far cooler than my lousy, plastic Big Wheel trike. This 1/8-scale electric Jeep takes the Power Wheels idea to a fanatical level. For one, the Capo Racing Jeep is as true to the real Wrangler as is possible in a 1/8-scale vehicle. Everything works, from the three-speed automatic transmission to the transfer case to the locking differentials. It uses a body-on-frame design with a real, metal multi-link suspension. In the cabin, the seats recline and the instruments light up. It has to be one of the most remarkable miniatures we've ever laid eyes on. Of course, that all comes at a price. As our chums at Jalopnik point out, for $2,300 you could pick up a full-size Wrangler. It'd be battered, sure, but it'd be something you could take on actual roads. Check out the fully gallery of images and official details over on the Capo Racing website. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Here are all the vehicles sold by the 12 brands of the Fiat Chrysler PSA merger
Fri, Dec 20 2019Sven Gustafson and Ronan Glon contributed to this report. Whether or not the formal merger between Italian-American automaker Fiat Chrysler and European conglomerate PSA Group means the return of Peugeot to the U.S., one thing’s for certain: The combined company will have a truckload of different brands. Sorting out what the deal means for all of them, including where they are sold and built, and whether and where there is product overlap, will be a key question for the two companies as they formalize the merger over the next 12 to 15 months. So far, both sides have steadfastly insisted that no job cuts or plant closures will result from the tie-up. WeÂ’ll see about that. In the meantime, weÂ’ve compiled an alphabetical list of all the vehicles currently sold in Europe and in North America by the various FCA and PSA brands, along with the years they debuted. We've gone into more detail about the European vehicles you might be less familiar with. The joint empire also has an antique store's worth of heritage-laced models and dormant brands, like Plymouth, Imperial, Simca, and Panhard, and it would have been even bigger had FCA not spun off Ferrari in early 2016. Alfa Romeo A legacy Italian sports car brand with roots in racing, Alfa Romeo has been struggling with declining U.S. sales. Giulia (2015): AlfaÂ’s rear-wheel drive sports sedan competes against German luxury sedans in North America and Europe. 4C (2013): The lightweight mid-engine rear-wheel-drive sports car is being phased out. Stelvio (2016): The Stelvio is a small luxury performance crossover that competes against the likes of the Porsche Macan and BMW X3 and is sold in both Europe and North America. Giulietta (2010): Sold in Europe, this compact hatchback is AlfaÂ’s entry-level model. After initially planning a rear-wheel drive 2020 update, the Giulietta is reportedly being nixed as part of FCAÂ’s latest product plans. Â Chrysler Despite lending its name to its parent company, questions abound about the future of this legendary but faded brand, which is not offered in Europe. 300 (2011): Despite rumors of its pending demise, the four-door sedan lives on mostly unchanged for the 2020 model year, at least. Pacifica (2016): The successor to the Town & Country is ChryslerÂ’s bestselling model by a long shot and comes in gas-only and plug-in hybrid versions. Voyager (2019): ChryslerÂ’s newest minivan launches as its entry-level minivan for the 2020 model year.
Jeep driver nearly gets washed away by fast moving river
Wed, May 11 2016Just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should. For example, you should never attempt to cross a fast-moving river in a bone stock Grand Cherokee no matter how shallow the river looks. Especially if you don't know what you're doing. A video posted recently to the Facebook group Jeep EXPERIENCE, shows an inexperienced jeep driver learning that lesson the hard way. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. The video starts innocently enough, with a group of off-roaders watching one of their friends attempt to ford a shallow looking river. Things quickly go sideways however, when the driver of the silver Grand Cherokee just plunges right in and quickly gets in over his head. The river is moving faster than the driver thinks it is, the driver panics, makes some bad decisions, then the jeep is turned over and swept downstream. Eventually, the jeep is hauled out by a Land Rover after a long comedy of errors that involves one guy losing his trousers to the current and the Cherokee ingesting untold gallons of water. What went wrong here? Well, It's pretty obvious from the video that the Cherokee driver didn't have a clear idea of where he was going or about the condition of the riverbed. He chickened out halfway across the river, and in what appears to be a misguided attempt at turning back, he reverses, digs himself deeper in the riverbed, then turned broadside on into the current. When he changes his mind again and decides to just gun it for the opposite shore, he drives directly into a deep water hazard that would have been obvious to an experienced off-roader. At that point the jeep and the driver were doomed. Hopefully the driver learned a lesson here, and hopefully he didn't pollute that river too much with the jeep's fluids.
