2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT
Black on Black
Purchased December 2014 brand new from Chagrin Falls Jeep in Ohio
Summer 2014 it was equipped with a nitrous kit. Installed by Big 3 Racing. Ran 12.8 at 109MPH.
After a few months of that, winter came around and we decided to give it to Big 3 Racing again and this time we
went full on with it. We had a custom 1 off turbo kit built from the ground up.
After that it ran an 11.3 at 122mph.
It's equipped with a Presison Turbo 7675 single turbo. Full custom exhaust work to magnaflow mufflers. Customer
electronic exhaust cut out in front for when you really want to hear that turbo sing.
It made very respectable power, on 6 psi it made 600whp, on 10psi it made 730whp and on 12psi+50 shot of nitrous it
made 800whp.
Fully equipped with a supporting fuel system, but also running a methanol kit to help keep all the numbers safe and
HAPPY across the board.
The engine was FULLY built from head to bottom end. All specific parts are included in the pictures I have uploaded
of the major receipts from the build.
Full stop tech brakes all around with race pads, strong bite with A LOT of life left.
In terms of aesthetics, it had WinninWindowTints full tint, a matte black stripe that's subtle and clean, SRT
windshield banner, Black Ops front lip that was carbon wrapped same with rear spoiler and trunk trim.
It's definitely a show stopper. Stored winters. Has only seen snow once! We always get complimented on it, have had
people actually follow us to admire it and ask questions.
Haul the family around while still being able to kick the doors in on a Vette or Mustang.
All in all we have about $150k wrapped up into the Jeep, originally purchased for $65k.
With that being said, the asking price is $79,000.00. The only reason it's being sold is to invest into a
transportation business. As the economy stabilizes again, we need to expand accordingly!

Inexperienced Jeep driver buries his Wrangler at sea

Mon, May 16 2016

There's an old maxim in off-roading that states, "Four-wheel drive doesn't keep you from getting stuck, it just gets you stuck in worse places." The truth of this statement was perfectly illustrated recently in a YouTube video of a Jeep Wrangler digging its own grave at the beach. On May 11, a YouTuber named Dan M uploaded a video he titled, "Drunk guy doesn't know how to off-road and ruins nice Jeep." The video, shot at dusk on a rocky looking beach, shows a blue Wrangler driving out into the surf without a care in the world. Dan, providing commentary along with an unseen female companion, was impressed with the Jeep driver's dash at first. "Wow, he must do that a lot because he ain't scared of getting stuck or anything," said Dan. As the Wrangler got deeper into the water, the Dan's friend expressed her doubts that the Jeep driver would make it out, especially when the Jeep got snagged on a little spit of sand sticking out into the water. Dan wasn't worried, however. "No, he'll manage to get out of there, he'll make it out of there. He'll back out and get out," he said. Dan's confidence in the Jeep driver was sadly misplaced, unfortunately. The driver managed to get the Jeep stuck on the sand bar then made the rookiest of rookie mistakes–he just gunned it. "Oh man, he's done! He's done!" yelled Dan as the Jeep driver proceeded to dig a huge hole in the sand that sunk the Wrangler up to its frame just as the tide started coming in. With that kind of dunking, especially in salt water, that Wrangler was probably a total loss, much like the Grand Cherokee that got washed downriver last week somewhere in Europe. Fiat Chrysler to get $105M fine from NHTSA for recall woes

Sun, Jul 26 2015

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is about to send a powerful message to automakers doing business in the United States, assuming reports of an upcoming $105 million fine against Fiat Chrysler Automobiles comes to fruition. In addition to the record-setting monetary fine, according to The Wall Street Journal, FCA will have to accept an independent auditor that will monitor the company's recall and safety processes and will be forced to buy back certain recalled vehicles. In other cases, such as with Jeep Grand Cherokee and Liberty models with gas tanks that could potentially catch fire in certain types of accidents, FCA will offer financial encouragement for owners to get their recall work done or to trade those older vehicles in on new cars, according to the report. FCA could reportedly reduce its fines if it meets certain conditions, though those remain unclear at this time. These actions against FCA are being taken after NHTSA began a probe into the automaker over almost two dozen separate instances where the government claims FCA failed to follow proper procedures for recalls and safety defects. Included in those safety lapses are more than 11 million vehicles currently in customer hands. These penalties and fines are separate from the investigation over security problems with Chrysler's Uconnect system that allowed hackers to obtain remote access into key vehicle systems in 1.4 million vehicles. Jeep idles second shift it hired a month ago for 2014 Cherokee

Tue, 24 Sep 2013

In an unusual move, Chrysler is idling its recently hired second shift of 2014 Jeep Cherokee builders because, Chrysler spokeswoman Jodi Tinson said in a statement, it already has built the "critical number of vehicles we need to stock dealerships once containment is released," Automotive News reports.
After the "critical" 9,430 Cherokees were built, the layoff was enacted so as not to strain the automaker's logistics partners before the Cherokee is actually released. Chrysler says the temporary layoff will last about two weeks, with 500 workers out of work and another 600 reassigned at the Toledo Assembly Complex where the sports utility vehicle was being built. The second-shift workers were hired on August 19.
Chrysler previously insisted that it would release the Cherokee to dealerships by the end of the third quarter, and it initially planned to start selling the SUVs in mid-August. Apparently the Cherokee needed a software fix before hitting showrooms, which is how Chrysler explains why the release schedule is out of whack. We're thinking that this software fix addresses the "powertrain calibration" issue that delayed the first media test drives of the model. According to the Toledo Blade, Chrysler has admitted it is doing "extended quality validation testing" but refused to provide more information.
