Hi, my name is Chris i am selling my 2012 Jeep grand Cherokee SRT8 i bought this truck with my fianc'e in August 2012. truck currently has 2,460mi!!! truck looks, rides, feels, and smells brand new. we bought this truck only a few months ago but our life plans have changed. this is an amazing truck has a ton of power, rides extremely smooth, and is a true joy to drive. this is my fianc'es daily driver so the mileage will go up slightly over the next week or two but she only drives about 3mi to work. truck has not one ding, dent, scratch, or any other sort of mechanical or cosmetic blemishes at all it is absolutely brand new. NEVER driven in snow and is garage kept to the best of our ability only in rain a handful of times and the backseat has been sat in maybe 5 times. i changed the oil at 1500mi according to factory break in with Mobil 1 synthetic oil. truck has been professionally detailed and waxed three times since we have owned it, the most recent was the day the pictures were taken this past weekend. we had the wheels switched at the dealership before even taking delivery of the truck to custom 3 piece 20" Niche wheels with Toyo Proxes S/T 295/45R20 tires which are all brand new with no scratches or curb rash. the package cost over 4k$ and have tire monitors so that the factory tire pressure monitoring systems works properly. (my fianc'e didnt like the factory SRT wheels and i DO NOT have the factory wheels) we also had the driver and passenger windows tinted to match the rest of the car and with the black on black it really looks sharp. the front grille chrome trim was also professionally painted black to make the truck stand out a little more. we also added OEM jeep factory rubber floor mats the day it was picked up and have the factory cloth mats in the original packaging. this model also has the panoramic sunroof instead of the rear seat DVD. i have included the original factory window sticker so you can see the options and the factory sticker price of $63,080 not including the custom additions. this truck is in my fianc'es name and does have a bank lien, she loves the truck but we are making some changes in our lives and have decided it MIGHT be time to sell her baby. we in no way need to sell this truck but with the little bit she drives it we may like to put the finances elsewhere.

Jeep leads list of 25 most patriotic brands
Thu, 04 Jul 2013It's not unusual to feel extra patriotic this time of year, what with the Fourth of July being today and all. As if to celebrate, New York-based research firm Brand Keys conducted a study among 4,500 consumers about what brands they find to be the most patriotic. According to the Detroit Free Press, Jeep took top honors in this study, besting other American stalwart brands including Coca-Cola, Levi's and Hershey's.
Interestingly, the only other automotive brand to make the list was Ford, in the 16th spot (motorcycle fans take note - Harley-Davidson claimed the No. 13 slot). This means consumers found Jeep to be more patriotic than any of the brands in the General Motors portfolio, including Chevrolet, which has long used American themes in its advertising over the decades.
According to Brand Keys, Jeep came in "with a score of 98 out of 100 on a scale representing consumers' emotional engagement expectations," the Detroit Free Press reports. Be sure to read the report to scan the entire Top 25 list for yourself.
Chrysler recalls 350k vehicles over ignition switches
Thu, 25 Sep 2014Chrysler has announced a recall covering 349,442 vehicles due to ignition switches that can either become stuck or move without warning. All of the affected vehicles are from the 2008 model year, and were built before May 12, 2008.
The automaker has learned that ignition keys on some vehicles "may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position during engine-startup," the company said in a statement. Additionally, "an ignition key may not fully return to the 'ON' position after rotation to the 'START' position and may inadvertently move through the 'ON' position to 'ACCESSORY' or 'OFF.'"
Chrysler says it is unaware of any related injuries, and notes that while reduced braking, engine or steering power is possible in such instances, the airbags are not affected. The later stands in contrast to General Motors' recent rash of high-profile recalls, and it's an important distinction that Chrysler (understandably) felt necessary to call out in bold print in its press release.
Fiat Chrysler profit up as it closes in on retiring its debt
Thu, Apr 26 2018MILAN — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles reduced its debt by more than expected in the first quarter, putting the carmaker well on course to become cash positive later this year. Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne expects to cancel all debt during 2018 — possibly by the end of June — and generate around 4 billion euros ($5 billion) in net cash by the end of the year. Marchionne has said that forecast does not include any one-off measures, nor the impact of the planned spinoff of parts maker Magneti Marelli, which he hopes to execute by early 2019. The world's seventh-largest carmaker said on Thursday net debt had fallen to 1.3 billion euros ($1.6 billion) by the end of March, well below a consensus forecast of 2.6 billion euros in a Thomson Reuters poll of analysts. FCA said capital spending fell 900 million euros in the quarter due to "program timing," which analysts said implied higher investments for the rest of the year. The Italian-American group said first-quarter operating profit rose 5 percent to 1.61 billion euros, below a consensus forecast of 1.74 billion, as a weaker performance from its North American profit center weighed. Shipments there were higher due to the new Jeep Wrangler and Compass models. But currency moves hit revenues and earnings, and costs related to new product launches added to the pressure. FCA's shift to sell more trucks and SUVs boosted margins yet again in North America to 7.4 percent from 7.3 percent in the same quarter a year ago, although they were down from the 8 percent recorded in the preceding three months. Marchionne, preparing to hand over to an internal successor next year, is close to his goal of ending a margin gap with larger U.S. rivals General Motors and Ford. The 65-year-old has said becoming debt free and being able to compete on a par with U.S. peers would mean FCA no longer needed a partner to survive and could well succeed on its own. The CEO has previously said tying up with another carmaker would help to meet the huge costs in an industry investing in electric vehicles and automated driving. FCA shares fell immediately after the results, but recovered to trade up 3 percent at 19.71 euros by 1150 GMT, outperforming a 0.4 percent rise in Europe's blue-chip stock index.
