NOTE: Over $4500.00 + work (parts & labor) already done on this Jeep with the invoices to prove it...read on....and you will see why this one is special!

I have a really Nice one of a kind Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition for sale Only 7995.00 OBO! This Jeep has everything! Lets start off with the 4.7L V8 which was replaced the motor in this Jeep only has around 78k miles on it the Jeep itself has 168000, I have all the paper work for the motor (so I can prove its mileage), and all other things done to this Jeep, Several New Parts, Brake Pads, oil changes, etc. See the list of work done on it & the Features that are included below. Everything  on this Jeep works ! Its my daily driver, just drove it from SC to Raleigh, NC around 300+ miles round trip, three weeks ago, NO issues AC blasting the whole trip!!! I've tried to keep it clean (it is a jeep after all) as you can see in the pictures its pretty clean all over!

$4560.85 is the total dollar amount spent on this Jeep in parts and labor that I can prove to you with the receipts and paid invoices! This doesn't count some things I've spent on it like all the oil changes, the rear lift supports, etc. The issues associated with a used car really don't all apply to this Jeep and here's why.

All Of This was Done between 6/29/10 to Present

Engine replaced only had 68k on it, Now has 77K
2" Lift with New Shocks & New 31.6" Tires
265/70/17 Mud King Tires as of 6/6/14 tires
 New Water Pump
 New thermostat
 New radiator
New battery BT24B Tough one (72M)
New Ignition spark plugs (yes...lol all 8)
 New Transys Solenoid Pack
New Duralast Crank & Camshaft Position Sensors
 New Steering Stabilizer
New Front Disc Rotor, & Pads
 New Rear Lift Supports
New set of Double side Chrome Steps ( my little girl couldn't get in...lol)
Regular oil changes every 3000 miles, tire rotations, fluid check, hose checks, ETC.
New rear brakes, rotors & pads replaced just 2 months ago 04/14
 Serviced Transmission and new filter
New Heater Core & Evaporator (had to have the whole dash pulled to replace this)

Only known issues are: (not bad)

Engine light came on about 2 months after I bought this jeep, I had it checked out and this is what it was. The code was "po442 evap emission control system leak small". I called the jeep dealer, & they said and I quote " don't worry about it" it will not effect anything, wait till its larger as it is hard to detect and fix, and it could be something as simple as a gas cap issue. I never got it fixed and have never had a problem to this day. There is a small dent in the passenger side door, hardly noticeable, I haven't had it fixed, it was there when I bought this Jeep. See the left side (passenger) where it says Jeep Grand Cherokee along the side of the jeep. There are normal imperfection's in the paint like light scratch's things you would normally see in a used car, over all the paint looks great.

 Features Included on this Jeep:

Quadra Drive 4x4 System which is AWD, and 4L
 Automatic Transmission with Overdrive & a 4.7L V8
 Power Leather Seats
Two Front, Heated Leather seats (great in winter)
Power windows (with one touch, Drivers window)
 Power locks
 Keyless Entry
Alarm & panic button on the key
AM/FM/CD/cassette (6) Speaker & Sub Infanty Surround Sound Stereo
 Power Sunroof (with one touch)
 3 power jacks
Automatic Climate Controls AC/Heat with or without a thermostat
 Automatic Headlights (sensor)
 Automatic Wipers (sensor)
2" Cup Lift on the Jeep with stability bar etc. (No Issues, drives handles Great!)
31.6" Rubicon Wheels & Tires 265/70/17 Mud King tires
Full Tow Package, with light connector.
Tinted windows all the way around by Jeep.
 Chrome Lift Steps (see picture)
 Rear windshield wiper

Bottom line this Jeep has it all, and is and has been my daily driver for years. I just drove it around 350 miles up to Raleigh, NC three weeks ago, No issues at all. If you're looking for a really good looking, and Great performing Jeep at a reasonable price, here it is.

Clear title in hand!!

I know my price might be a little high but consider the $4500.00 in improvements and new parts that I can prove to you, the low miles on the motor! & the Rubicon wheels & tires 31.5". Will I negotiate? Sure but I wont give all this away either.

Only serious buyers need apply. If leaving me a VM please leave your name & Number as well.

 Thank You

Woman and child die after Jeep gets stuck in mud

Tue, Mar 10 2015

A Florida woman and her baby died over the weekend when their Jeep sank into deep mud during an off-roading trip. Taylor Brown took his girlfriend Hallie Lewis and their infant son Bryson off-roading in his Jeep Cherokee on Saturday night. The Jeep became stuck in thick mud, according to WESH. Brown got out of the vehicle while Lewis and Bryson remained inside. Using a winch, Brown tried – unsuccessfully – to free the Jeep. The Cherokee was left running as he struggled to pull it out of the mud. When he returned to the Jeep to check on his son and girlfriend, he found them unresponsive. Taylor pulled the two out of the back window, but it was too late. Lewis was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The baby died shortly thereafter. Police are still investigating, but their deaths appear to be a tragic accident due to carbon monoxide poisoning. The tailpipe of the Jeep was either submerged or caked with mud, allowing the deadly gas to build up inside the vehicle. News Source: WESH Weird Car News Jeep tailpipe carbon monoxide

Dodge shows off the electric Charger, and is the Wrangler 392 done? | Autoblog Podcast #815

Fri, Jan 19 2024

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. They kick things off with a roundup of the week's news, and of course the first photos of a pre-production electric Dodge Charger Daytona are the first topic. After that, the pair chat about the possible demise of the Jeep Wrangler 392 via a Final Edition meant for 2025 and ruminate on if they'd be up for buying one of the many Teslas that Hertz is offing from its rental fleet for cheap. Once the news is wrapped, the two move along to what they've been driving, starting with the first drive of the 2024 Acura TLX Type S. Then, they welcome our new Subaru WRX long-term test car and review both the Nissan Altima SL AWD and Nissan Pathfinder Platinum. FCA issuing software update for 1.4M vehicles to prevent hacking

Fri, Jul 24 2015

In the wake of a Jeep Cherokee being hacked remotely while on the road through its Uconnect infotainment system, FCA US is now issuing a software update for 1.4 million vehicles in the United States. Affected customers will receive a USB stick in the mail with the improved version; owners can check this website to see if their cars are affected. A large variety of models with FCA's 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system are affected. They include the 2015 Chrysler 200, 2015 Chrysler 300, 2015 Dodge Charger, and 2015 Dodge Challenger; 2013-2015 Dodge Viper; 2013-2015 Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500; 2013-2015 Ram 3500, 4500, and 5500 chassis cab; 2014-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Cherokee; and 2014-2015 Dodge Durango. According to FCA in its announcement, the new software "insulates connected vehicles from remote manipulation." As of July 23, the company also "fully tested and implemented within the cellular network" additional security to prevent access to many of a vehicle's systems. FCA US says that it's conducting this campaign out of an abundance of caution and disputes the notion that there's a defect with these vehicles. Beyond the demonstration of the hack in the Cherokee, the automaker says that it's unaware of any other reports of these attacks actually happening. Related Video: Statement: Software Update July 24, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - FCA US LLC is conducting a voluntary safety recall to update software in approximately 1,400,000 U.S. vehicles equipped with certain radios. The recall aligns with an ongoing software distribution that insulates connected vehicles from remote manipulation, which, if unauthorized, constitutes criminal action. Further, FCA US has applied network-level security measures to prevent the type of remote manipulation demonstrated in a recent media report. These measures – which required no customer or dealer actions – block remote access to certain vehicle systems and were fully tested and implemented within the cellular network on July 23, 2015. The Company is unaware of any injuries related to software exploitation, nor is it aware of any related complaints, warranty claims or accidents – independent of the media demonstration.
