Low mile original Jeep Comanche ( Cherokee pickup )with no rust. v6 5 speed truck. The pics show the only rust spot on the lower passenger side bed but it is not rusted through. The under body is clean and rust free and there is not even any rust in between the body seams. If your looking for one to build up , this would be it. It runs and drives and stops but has an engine rattle and idles rough. I believe it to be a bent push rod but not positive. The paint is faded. 1 small dent under the fuel door , otherwise very straight body. Bed is also nice and clean. All the rubber hoses in the engine compartment look like new. It has a cracked windshield. You can tell this was garaged most of its life. Easy project and a desirable truck with low miles

Sun, Apr 3 2016The Basics: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is recalling 14,768 examples of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, both from the 2015 and 2016 model years, and built between December 9, 2015, and January 14, 2016. The Problem: The left front brake caliper on some vehicles may have been made from the wrong type of iron, and could be prone to crack. A cracked brake caliper may not function properly. Injuries/Deaths: None reported. The problem was discovered by the automaker during testing. The fix: Dealers will need to check the casting date of the component in question, and if necessary, replace the brake caliper. The schedule for carrying out the recall service has yet to be outlined. If you own one: Expect to hear from the manufacturer to arrange an appointment with your local dealer. New Jeep Wrangler pickup spy shots reveal suspension and tire details
Wed, May 17 2017Most of the spy shots we've received of the Wrangler pickup have been from a bird's-eye perspective. However this time, one of our spy photographers got up close to the truck at ground level. The new view shows us some interesting details regarding the truck's suspension, as well as the placement of the spare tire. Immediately evident is that the Wrangler pickup will have the same sort of suspension design as its SUV sibling. Solid axles are employed at the front and rear, and it appears that the rear axle is coil-sprung, since there are no leaf springs nor shackles present underneath. The photos also reveal that the truck won't have a tailgate-mounted spare tire like the SUV. Instead, it will have a more traditional truck location beneath the bed. Few other new details can be seen from the spy photos. This prototype sports the same production-style bed we've previously seen. The photos also really show just how long this Wrangler pickup is. With such a long wheelbase and rear overhang, the pickup will have more difficulty with hills than the bed-less versions. Of course, it will also be able to carry more than those Wranglers.
