1986 marked the beginning of a love affair with these Comanche’s, that to this day, has never ended! These sharp Jeeps were built “Tough” and can still give any new Jeep a run for their money!

Selling my black beauty breaks my heart due to sentimental family reasons. But the money will be well used going towards the down payment on my new home!

This is a “Solid” Comanche X long bed 4X4 with a real nice black exterior and a close to perfect red interior. Offering a low 114,050 original miles, plus an additional 1,300K on the new Chevy 3.4 V6 “Professionally Installed” engine in 2012, this truck has a lot of miles left to travel! The pictures are proof of that..

Some highlights include, Priced right, well under the money invested, Working 4X4, Beds in “Great” shape, Cold air conditioning, Cruise control, And a “Kick Ass” sound system “JVC & Sony” with a 10” subwoofer also. I’ve invested $4000 in the engine alone, and replaced various other parts since 2006 when I took ownership of this fine truck. Everything rendered on this vehicle has always been done by a professional! I have all the receipts and will gladly present them to any interested parties.

I recently had a professional and active auto body man inspect the truck thoroughly. His report found:

- The entire under carriage has been under coated..as a preventive measure and not as a cover up

-The frame is solid

- 2” in diameter rust spots in the front of the driver and passenger floor pans…he stated if this was addressed in a timely manner it would not be a future problem and the pans overall are in real good shape.

-And some surface rust around the exterior rocker panels would be an easy fix

Overall he gave a very good report and also stated the truck is sturdy!

We installed a 2 barrel carb on the new engine..runs strong..but fuel injection would do it justice. The original rims need replaced or restored, loose headliner near back sliding window, And a dent in the chrome rear step bumper.

Overall this truck is in great shape and would make a dependable daily driver or be a “Wonderful Head Start” on a total restoration! If you have further questions please message me, I will gladly answer as honestly as I can!

2019 Jeep Cherokee and Cherokee Trailhawk spotted in Pittsburgh

The current Jeep Cherokee debuted for the 2014 model year, meaning it's about due for a refresh. When it was revealed, the controversial styling and front-wheel-drive-based platform caused a stir among the Jeep crowd. While there isn't much Jeep can do about the platform at this point, it seems the automaker's designers have a much more traditional refresh in the works. Thanks to Autoblog readers Matthew Young and Mike Bothwell, we have a new batch of spy shots, include a couple of the new Cherokee Trailhawk. The refreshed Cherokee looks to crib quite a bit from the new Jeep Compass. Rather than splitting the front lighting like before, the driving lights, headlights and turn signals are all one unit. The whole fascia seems to be a bit more upright than before, though the grille is still canted backward. Out back, the Cherokee gets new taillights that feature clear lenses, again similar to the Compass. The rear bumper gets a mild refresh, too. The reflectors move up, and the Trailhawk's exhaust looks like it moves further inward. One of the Cherokees seems to have a crushed pipe, suggesting some unlucky engineer had a mishap. The red tow hook looks to be in about the same place. No word on when the Cherokee will go one sale, but expect some news as soon as the Detroit auto show in January. Jeep dealers worried Grand Wagoneer could be too much, too late

On January 10, 2011, an Automotive News article quoted Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne saying, "It's time we gave the market an upper-scale Grand Wagoneer." Like Babe Ruth pointing a finger at the far stands, Marchionne next predicted our date with historical destiny: "You'll see it in January 2013." Had that happened, the Grand Wagoneer would been a grand slam. Seven years later, with various economic factors in flux and still with no Grand Wagoneer in sight, it seems some Fiat Chrysler dealers are worried the luxury three-row Jeep could appear after the SUV game is over or, at the very least, much harder to play. What got in the way of the Grand Wagoneer? Shifting plans for and the need to pour money into Alfa Romeo. The debate about what kind of vehicle the Wagoneer should be — a unibody Range Rover rival, or a body-on-frame Chevrolet Suburban foe. After that, what should the thing look like? And then there's Fiat Chrysler's North American manufacturing capacity, which can't shoehorn space for Grand Wagoneer production at the same time as it needs lines running for two Ram 1500 model years. That last point is what could push Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer arrival to 2021. Outside the company, at least one Bank of America Merill Lynch analyst believes that economic forces such as a shrinking car market, more competition, higher interest rates on more expensive cars, lower used car prices, and higher gas prices will soon bring an end to the "Goldilocks" phase of crossover mania. He isn't alone, with an IHS analyst saying the same thing three years ago, another IHS analyst diving deeper into the declining numbers two years ago, and three other analysts breaking down depressed used car prices. Fuel prices are anyone's guess, but those other pressures could squeeze retailers trying to sell high-end metal. No one expects the Grand Wagoneer to fail, yet dealers don't expect the vehicle to practically sell itself. One dealer told AN, "We could have killed with [the Grand Wagoneer] if it had been available when they first told us about it, but it's a much tougher sell with interest rates and gas prices going up." Another dealer, perhaps more sanguine, said, "The Grand Wagoneer will still sell because it's a Jeep. But it would have been nice to have them already." "Nice" is an understatement. One dealership was so excited about getting the new big Jeep that it wrote a blog post in 2015 announcing the Grand Wagoneer's arrival in 2018.
