Look close - you won't find many nicer (unless you really want to pay over $20,000.00). As you can see from the photos - she is beautiful. Imagine driving along the beach or strip with the top-down or off-roading through the woods or desert - do whatever you want - the choice is yours. Hard to believe but what you see in the raw, untouched photo's is exactly how she looks. There are a few items that are no longer stock: tires, wheels, seats, radio, top and steering wheel. Just behind the spare tire holder is a small hair-line crack in the tail gate (next to the quarter). The steering box has a minor leak. There is a minor bend in the front bumper as can be seen in the photo. The oil pressure guage does not work. It's Idaho registration is expired and now resides in San Diego. Vintage vehicles often DO NOT NEED A SMOG certification - Check your local DMV. It's a rare find - good luck!"

Happy 50th birthday, Jeep Wagoneer

The Wagoneer got the SUV on the radar of buyers looking for something capable, comfortable and rugged.
The Jeep Wagoneer was introduced 50 years ago, and it's that vehicle we have to thank for the herds of excellent crossovers and SUVs that make up our current automotive landscape. On a personal level, I have always loved the full-size Jeeps and their crisp Brooks Stevens styling, which aged well over their long tenure on the market. The SJs, as they're known among enthusiasts, were the Wagoneer and its two-door counterpart, the original Cherokee. The Wagoneers had become true luxury vehicles by the end of their run, which stretched form late 1962 as a '63 model all the way to 1991, when they were offered exclusively under the Grand Wagoneer nameplate.
