1981 Jeep Cj7 Laredo Low Miles on 2040-cars
Cleveland, Georgia, United States
You are looking at a 1981 Jeep CJ7 Laredo with very low miles and absolutely zero rust. The Jeep has been a California vehicle its entire life until I bought it and brought it to Georgia. The exterior has been repainted once but has been a long time ago. Paint looks great and has a great shine. The interior is all original except for the drivers bottom of the seat has been recovered and the carpet. This Jeep runs and drives better than any CJ jeep I have ever driven. Doesn't have the typical loose steering that causes you to be all over the road. You can definitely tell 81985 miles are correct when you drive this jeep. It has the factory Laredo Wheels and brand new all terrain tires. This Jeep comes with the full hard doors, half doors, and a soft top thats like new as well. You would be hard pressed to find a jeep this solid with zero rust anywhere. If you have any questions please call Kevin (706)878-0433. If you have a zero feedback score please contact me before bidding. A $1,000.00 deposit is required within 24 hours of auction ending, and balance due within 7 days. Any payment other than cash must clear the bank before I will release the truck. If buyer chooses to pay the balance through PayPal the buyer will be responsible for paying for the percentage that PayPal charges the seller, this does not pertain to the deposit amount. Truck is for sale locally. Owner reserves the right to end auction early. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Georgia residents are subject to applicable taxes. Jeep's new Chip Away commercial has us hunting Al Pacino's back catalog
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Chrysler has done a pretty good job as of late turning its television commercials into pep talks or rallying cries, but for its first ad for the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it turned to Al Pacino's inspirational speech from the movie Any Given Sunday. In the movie, Pacino's character talks about how football is a game of inches, but the commercial, titled Chip Away, focuses more on the attention to detail that Jeep has exhibited on its updated flagship SUV.
Centering around the newest Grand Cherokee model, the luxurious $47,995 Summit trim level, the commercial shows off some of the hand-stitched leathers and real metal and wood accents found inside the cabin. Check out the new 60-second spot by scrolling below.
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT gets power increase, minor tweaks for 2015
Tue, 02 Sep 2014As a brand within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, SRT may have an uncertain future, but it's pumping out some seriously mean machines anyway. The supercharged Hellcat V8 may be gobbling up most of the headlines with its 707 horsepower, but even the Grand Cherokee SRT is getting some small updates for the 2015 model year.
Most importantly for many enthusiasts, the Grand Cherokee SRT is getting a slight power bump. Don't expect the 700+ hp from the Hellcat, but this SUV sees a modest 5-hp and 5-pound-feet of torque improvement to bring output to 475 hp and 470 lb-ft for its 6.4-liter V8 with an eight-speed automatic. The minor change doesn't change the sprint to 60 miles per hour, clocking in at the same 4.8 seconds, or the tow rating at 7,200 pounds. Still, more grunt is never a bad idea.
Another new addition is the Active Noise Canceling system as a standard feature for this powerful SUV. It adds four microphones around the vehicle and uses the stereo system to nullify extraneous sound. However, Jeep claims that the meaty exhaust note from the V8 still gets through into the cabin for driver enjoyment.

Tue, 10 Dec 2013The 2014 North American International Auto Show is right around the corner, which means it's high time we found out which cars and trucks would be finalists for the prestigious North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards.
The finalists - three in cars and three in three trucks/utilities - are dominated by American brands, with two-thirds of the finalists hailing from either General Motors or Chrysler (don't worry Ford, there's always next year), while outliers from Mazda and Acura can be found in each contest. Here now is the list of finalists for the big prizes:
