Please note the Factory optioned 20 inch BBS MONTREAL rims staggered 285 to the rear, 255 to the front giving this XKR that meaty, muscular stance which only adds to this car's immense appeal.

Big BREMBO brakes feature here also with the gorgeous RED 'R' Calipers and cross drilled rotors showing through those Montreal's with great style!! Factory RECARO seats finish off this package in classic style. This car, optioned like this, would have been nudging $100k when new. It is is basically optioned similarly to the 04 XKR Portfolio cars which were only available in red and blue with matching interiors (nice, but not to everyone's taste).

This XKR is also similarly optioned to the previous year's XKR100 (2002). The XKR100 celebrated the centenary of the birth of Jaguar founder Sir William Lyons.

What this 2003 XKR has over its two rare predecessors (Silverstone & 100) is the newer and glorious 4.2 engine/6 speed drive train configuration. The complete power train was revised from the rear axle forwards, with a new, larger-capacity, more-powerful V8, and a state-of-the-art, six-speed automatic transmission. In total, 900 part number changes – changes that gave the XK a completely new, more dynamic driving feel.

While many of the components changed, the personality of the XK did not; it continues today to provide a perfect balance of a true, high-performance sports car and luxurious, elegant grand tourer.

The new 4.2-liter SUPERCHARGED V8 – evolved from the familiar 4.0-liter AJ-V8 - took the performance of the new XK to soaring new levels.

Universally regarded as an icon of automotive beauty. As many people have observed, the shape has matured to become even more attractive than when it was launched.

Jaguar In Its Purest Form
Jaguar has spent a lot of time, money and engineering effort refocusing itself for the modern world. In 2006, the current XK replaced the former XK8 and introduced a new aluminum-intensive chassis architecture to Jaguar's portfolio, and two years later, the XF whipped up a similar overhaul to its classical styling department.
The next major revision came in 2009, with the introduction of the achingly attractive and completely new XJ sedan, and this step struck us as the biggest improvement yet; not only was Jaguar's flagship built atop a cutting-edge platform, it boasted a newfound sense of style that pointed toward the future while still echoing the brand's storied past. This trend has continued most recently with the two-door F-Type that we've already grown quite fond of.

Jaguar F-Pace SVR to debut this week at New York Auto Show

It should come as no surprise that the folks back in England have been working on a hot new version of the Jaguar F-Pace. Today, just ahead of the 2018 New York International Auto Show, the British automaker confirmed that the Jaguar F-Pace SVR will debut this week. The new Jaguar I-Pace and Range Rover SV Coupe will make their North American debuts alongside the F-Pace. All we know about the F-Pace SVR is that it will be the fastest and most powerful version of Jaguar's best-selling product. We don't even have a teaser photo, as Jaguar Land Rover loves to play things close to the vest, so we're sharing some spy photos that we think might be the new model. Expect some version of JLR's 5.0-liter supercharged V8. We're hoping it's the 575 horsepower variant from the refreshed Range Rover Sport SVR. Expect 0-60 mph times in the low-4-second range and a top speed of at least 155 mph. The I-Pace and Range Rover SV Coupe both debuted earlier this month at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The I-Pace is an all-electric crossover with an estimated 240 miles of range. The SV Coupe is a limited-production two-door variant of the full-size Range Rover.
