This is a original rust free 1952 Jaguar Xk120 roadster that is a matching numbers all original survivor roadster with the exception of the exterior paint. This two top roadster runs and sounds great. The car comes with both the original soft top bows (needs new top canvas) and a original Glass par Hard top made for the xk120 roadster, this is a rare, seldom seen hard top. This roadster was originally white exterior with red interior. The interior is original and has been dyed black. The exterior has had one offal red metal flake paint job done back in the sixties or early seventies. This car is rust free, matching numbers, running, driving and is a super rare find in this condition and price. The body has dents and ding and shows the lack of talent by the person that did the paint job but is otherwise a nice solid car showing only minor fender bender, dents and dings and no major damage. I purchased this roadster from a local Eastern Washington car collector that had it stashed away for many years. I felt lucky to find a solid real XK120 Roadster that I could drive, tinker on and slowly restore as time and money permitted. Now a year later I need to sell the car and can not take trades. This is a super rare car to find in this condition. I have a complete new stainless steel Falcon exhaust system, new back window and frame for the soft top, sending unit for the fuel tank, carb kits(not needed at this time). I have a extra hood and grill(not as nice as the originals), Shop manual, pair of original Lucas driving lights, 6 extra hub caps, 3 extra front bumpers. This roadster has dual exhaust under it now and sounds great, I believe the car originally had single and was converted to the dual exhaust in the sixties. The carb primer does not seem to work and when sitting for a while or when real cold, I give each carb a little squirt of gas and it always starts right up and runs great. The transmission and clutch work great. The brakes work good but will need to be pumped up after sitting a while. I drove the car last summer until the water pump seal started leaking and that will need to be replaced or rebuilt as it is just old. The drivers door was stripped by the previous owner, he was planning a full restoration and stopped when sold to me.

I do not have side curtains or soft top canvas for this car.

If your interested in my car please call me (Adam) at 509-991-8181 as I have my car for sale locally and I will remove this listing when sold. I can sell the car with every thing or just the car. I will not sell any Items separate before selling the roadster.

This is a cash or wire transfer sale only.     I will help with shipping any way I can.

Please feel free to call me for more information as I want the new owner of my roadster to be happy!!!! Thanks! Adam 509-991-8181

2019 Jaguar I-Pace First Drive Review | A taste of Jag's EV crossover

Thu, Apr 5 2018

This is literally our first drive of the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace electric crossover. It lasted about 2 minutes and occurred on a tiny autocross in a frigid parking lot in New Jersey, but if we're to split hairs, it is indeed the first time we've piloted this revolutionary EV SUV-ish vehicle from a company better known for barking exhausts and slinky sport coupes. While the rest of the automotive press was gallivanting about Manhattan prior to the New York Auto Show, a select few were bused out to Jaguar-Land Rover's new corporate headquarters in Mahwah, N.J. It was there we saw the world debut of the new F-Pace SVR, the North American debut of the Range Rover SV Coupe, and got our first real taste of the I-Pace. The chief impression is that it feels much smaller than its exterior dimensions would indicate, maneuvering quickly and effortlessly without a hint of roll. Credit the wheels pushed out to the absolute corners and a low center of gravity, both the result of Jaguar's decision to fully embrace the packaging and engineering possibilities of an electric powertrain. The steering was perhaps not as feelsome as other Jaguars, but again, who really knows? Two minutes, parking lot, etc. In terms of power, it sure is an electric car. Smooth, quick and quiet, but with so little space to work with, there would've been little noticeable difference between the 394-horsepower I-Pace and the 147-hp Nissan Leaf currently sitting in my driveway. Its estimated range of 240 miles on the EPA cycle? Uh, it was good enough for an afternoon of journalists driving in circles. What I can definitively declare, however, is that the 2019 I-Pace boasts far superior interior quality than every Tesla I've driven. It's also, just as important, a considerable leap forward in terms of materials quality and design from the rather dull and disappointing current Jaguar litter of F-Pace, XF and XE. For instance, leather or leatherette always cover the dash (versus the rubbery stuff found in lower F-Pace, XF and XE trim levels), while there was clearly an effort made to visually spruce things up. The dual-screen center console controls first seen on the Range Rover Velar also appear for the first time in a Jaguar, as does a unique push-button shifter ( though I still prefer a properly utilized rotary). South African company builds the world's first armored Jaguar I-Pace

Mon, Nov 28 2022

When you think of armored cars, the presidential “Beast” limo and large SUVs likely come to mind. What you might not consider is that as the auto industry transforms itself to produce electric vehicles, weÂ’ll start seeing more armored EVs. A South African company has a leg up in this area with the release of the first armored Jaguar I-Pace. Armormax has offices around the globe, but its home base in South Africa is responsible for developing the armored SUV. Jaguar South Africa worked with the company to produce the I-Pace, and the work to add protection does not void or change the warranty. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Armoring a vehicle tends to add a ton of weight, but Armormax says the I-Pace takes advantage of its in-house materials. The company claims its protection material is the lightest in the world and notes the use of high-grade ballistic glass. The I-Pace offers a B4 ballistic protection rating, which covers handguns up to a .44 Magnum and shotguns. Armormax added run-flat tires and an external intercom system. We donÂ’t know if Armormax will offer the I-Pace outside of South Africa, but it likely wonÂ’t be cheap if it does. The U.S. I-Pace starts at more than $71,000, and thatÂ’s before buyers add any of ArmormaxÂ’s impressive upgrades. The company offers gas masks, ballistic riot shields, bomb blankets, and more. If Bond-villain features are your thing, Armormax will sell you smoke screen systems, electric-shock door handles, and a road tack dispensing system.

2014 Jaguar XFR-S is the power and the fury

Thu, 29 Nov 2012

If there's something wrong about a sedan with a 550-horsepower supercharged V8, we don't want to hear about it. Instead, we want to marvel at the car in person, which is fortuitous because Jaguar has officially unveiled the 2014 XFR-S at the 2012 LA Auto Show. That blown 5.0-liter V8 dishes up a full 502 pound-feet of torque, which is good enough to shuttle the four-door to 60 mph in a scant 4.4 seconds. And, thanks to a start stop system and a few other fuel-saving tricks, the 2014 XFR-S gets away without being hit by the gas guzzler tax.
That's all good news, but we're just as excited about the fact that engineers managed to crank up the vehicle's chassis stiffness by a ludicrous 30 percent. Stiffer dampers and springs also give the car a little more poise, and a wide-open exhaust lets the whole world know you're kicking down their door. You know, in case the electric blue paint and wild body work didn't tip your hand. Check out the full gallery above for a closer look.
