Fantastic luxury ride completely made of aluminium. This makes it lighter and stronger than comparable cars from Mercedes and BMW. The size of an S class or 7 series but with weight like E class or 5 series. This contributes to better fuel economy and performance, 0-60 in 6.3 Sec
New suspension including all stuts/springs and most bushing and control arms. This is a 5,000 job. If you buy one that still has air suspension the air bags will eventually start to leak and you may not be able to drive the car home. Hence this is a security and reliability issue. My car has standard coil springs today. Also new cars that sit break and they are occasionally changing air suspension/struts/bags on cars that are only 2-3 years old!
The Air suspension on these cars is the single most expensive thing to repair and the rubber just starts to leak after about 6 years. Each air strut cost over $1000 each + labor at the dealer. On this car the Air springs and air compressor system has been replaced with a new coil spring conversion kit. This will last the life of the car.
Made out of Aluminium bonded together with aerospace-grade epoxy adhesives while around 3,200 self-piercing rivets are used to create the new XJ's unibody.

Charcoal on black is the best color combo and dark interiors keep up much better than light interiors
Compare to BMW 7 series and Mercedes S500. they are made of heavy iron that rust
Compare to Audi A8. The Audi is a very nice car but has a sensitive timing belt that could ruin the engine if it brakes. The jaguar has a double chain that need no maintenance.
Car has no check Engine light or any warning. The items that may need attention are; 1, Sunroof does not open, the rail is damaged or need adjustment. I understand this is common. 2, two spots are fading on the roof due to the FL sun. 3, leaks a little bit of oil from front crank seal just top off oil or my mechanic says it is about 500 to fix.

2017 Jaguar F-Pace First Drive
Tue, May 3 2016We know what you're thinking, and we tend to agree: The world probably doesn't need another crossover. But premium European automakers keep building them because people keep buying them. Before we even got behind the wheel of the 2017 F-Pace, we knew that it would be Jaguar's best-selling model by year's end. Now that we've driven the brand's first crossover, it's apparent that there is more to the F-Pace than future sales success. This is a real Jaguar. It would have been easy for Jaguar to borrow a platform from corporate sibling Land Rover. Instead, Jaguar's engineers decided to chart their own course, starting with the aluminum underpinnings of the XE sedan. As it turns out, that was a brilliant decision. The F-Pace looks and drives like a proper Jaguar, but it has some surprises hiding under its shapely sheetmetal that make it the most practical vehicle the brand has ever offered. The F-Pace sports a familiar face, with a voluminous chrome-ringed grille flanked by twin air intakes that are almost as large. Long horizontal headlamps flow into the fenders, and just behind the front wheels sit additional vents that are the only extraneous bit of styling flair on the entire vehicle. The overall look is smooth and taut, with lots of surface tension along the car's bodysides. Not that Jaguar would have done it, but we're glad this is not an overwrought Lexus RX clone. The F-Pace's proportions emphasize the chassis' rear-drive roots, although Jaguar will only sell the crossover with all-wheel drive in the US. By default, 90 percent of engine torque is routed to the rear wheels, and that can drop to as little as 10 percent as dictated by available traction. While the good old KISS acronym applies to the car's styling, it applies equally well to the driving dynamics with one slight modification: keep it sporty, stupid. A rigid aluminum chassis – it would be all-aluminum if the rear floor weren't steel to ensure proper 50/50 weight distribution – is derived from the same architecture as the XE sedan, rejiggered to sit higher off the ground and allow for greater suspension travel. As you'd expect, the F-Pace drives a heck of a lot like a sport sedan, only giving up the illusion if you notice how high you're sitting from the road. Jaguar has nailed the driving dynamics of the F-Pace. Steering is linear and, in Dynamic mode, perfectly damped. The ride on models equipped with adaptive suspension is firm and controlled, even with massive 22-inch wheels fitted.
Jaguar F-Type SVR graphics package makes it look like the Project 7
Mon, Mar 5 2018If you missed out on buying a Jaguar F-Type Project 7 roadster a few years ago, Jaguar will now offer a way to get the next best thing. It's rolling out a new graphics package for the F-Type SVR that adds a set of stripes and contrasting accents that are very reminiscent of the special Project 7 and the race cars that inspired it. And since the current SVR makes the same power as the Project 7, you won't be missing out on much except the custom bodywork. Across the hood and fenders are similar horizontal stripes that only really differ in how the number "575" is included. This number represents the car's 575 horsepower. The front stripes are joined by more on the sideskirts and mirrors, with those on the sideskirts also getting the 575 designation. The stripes are complemented by a grille surround and wing end caps finished with the same color as the stripes. Jaguar will offer the graphics package in six color combinations. It can be had in white with red stripes, black with gold stripes, grey with blue stripes, red with black stripes, blue with grey stripes, or silver with black stripes. Also, while it will be a no-cost option overseas, it will add a bit to the cost of North American examples. Jaguar didn't say how much the option will be here, though.
