NO ACCIDENTS NO DENTS ALWAYS GARAGE KEPT CLEAN ENGINE COMPARTMENT NO WEAR IN TRUNK UNUSED SPARE ALL FINEST CLEANERS (MOSTLY JAGUAR) USED. NEVER ANY JUNK PRODUCTS. ALL MANUALS AND KEYS. (keys are in mint condition; I even put the everyday key in a cloth mini pouch so it would not get wear on it) EVERYTHING DOCUMENTED Had a Jaguar (not a 3rd party) extended warranty up until 100,000 miles, so anything that need replacement to that point was done. First owner had Cilajet Aviation Grade Sealant done to through the Jaguar Dealer to protect all exterior parts. The only reason I am selling the car is I just purchase a used 2011 Jaguar XKR175 Coupe (limited to 175 in the US). I have been waiting to get an XKR for years. I know Jaguar's very well, have had in the past, XJ8, XK8, XJR and over course this beautiful XF Supercharged. Please do not bid unless you are completely serious. Anyone with feedback lower than 10 must contact me before bidding otherwise the bid may be canceled. The XF Supercharged is completely loaded and has more features than most vehicles on the most vehicles on the market today. Please see pictures. Jaguar serviced only from day one. I have all service records including from the first owner. Purchased from a Jaguar dealer. Always synthetic oil. New Ceramic Brakes and rotors New All Season High Performance Tires Floor mats are perfect since I put a rubber mat down to reduce wear. Clear 3M Bra on 1/4 of hood, front bumper, tips of front fenders; very minimal and minor rock chips in a few locations (nothing major) See pictures, will add more shortly. Only known issues: Very Minor curb rash from the original owner which I touched up with exact Jaguar paint. Didn't want a rim guy messing up the original Jaguar finish by spraying junk paint that will eventually peal and discolor. Told you I was picky. Very Minor wear (in color only) on drivers seat where the belt area would meet the seat. This is NOT a rip or major imperfection. Once again please see the vehicle in person and you will truly see how obsessive I am. Thanks for viewing my auction. I have sold other rare vehicles on eBay with excellent feedback. I AM NOT A DEALER; Average person who enjoys vehicles. Can provide references if needed. Please contact me anytime 302 290 0039 Delaware or by eBay email. No warranty but the vehicle is truly in excellent condition. |

V12-powered Jaguar E-Type Series 3 the restomod treatment from UK firm
Thu, Jul 1 2021As Jaguar tries to figure out its future, a growing number of aftermarket companies are reinventing its past. British restoration shop E-Type UK is the latest company to announce a restomod program for the popular sports car released in 1961. It's working with later Series 3 models, which is a little unusual, and it leaves no part untouched. E-Type UK starts every Unleashed project with a donor car; it doesn't build an E-Type from scratch. After strengthening the basic platform, it bores out the V12's cylinders to increase its displacement to 6.1 liters, 800 cubic centimeters more than stock. Additional modifications, like an electronic fuel-injection system and a free-flowing exhaust system, boost the engine's output to 400 horsepower, and a five-speed manual transmission sends the cavalry to the rear wheels. Four-piston front brake calipers ensure the Unleashed stops as well as it goes. With the engine finished and tuned, E-Type UK turns its attention to the chassis. It fits the E-Type with technology the original model could only dream of, like fully adjustable shock absorbers. Wire wheels are standard equipment, they fit the car's sleek profile well, but their diameter increases slightly to 16 inches to clear the bigger brakes. Designers restyled the bumpers, the grille, and the exterior emblems, though the changes are relatively subtle, and they added LED headlights to give the E-Type the visibility of a modern car. Inside, the only limit is the thickness of the buyer's wallet. Anything is possible; the options include different types of leather upholstery and various trim options. Heated seats, LED lighting, a push-button ignition, Bluetooth connectivity, and a surround-sound system are among the equipment added by E-Type UK to encourage future owners to drive their Unleashed often. All told, each build requires at least 4,000 hours of labor, which partially explains why pricing starts at GBP325,000 (around $447,600 at the current conversion rate) before the cost of a donor car enters the equation. For context, that money could buy you two examples of the Lamborghini Huracan Evo and a garage to keep them in, a small plane, or 447 examples of your favorite $1,000 econobox. And yet, we doubt E-Type UK will have a difficult time finding clients. Restomods are a big trend in the industry, some are even Volvo-based, and they're never cheap. Jaguar sends off XK with limited-run Final 50 edition
Fri, 18 Apr 2014The Jaguar XK coupe and convertible are pointed at the production sunset, and the cars that will end their retail lives in the US will be the dubbed the XK Final Fifty Limited Edition. As the name implies there will be fifty of them made, 25 of the fixed-roof variety, 25 of the droptop.
As the name doesn't imply, however, they'll be based on the XKR and be injected with liberal doses of XKR-S and XKR-S GT: the 510-horsepower V8 from the XKR will be mated to normally optional items like the Dynamic and Performance Packs, machined front suspension components from the XKR-S and a 10-millimeter lower ride height, the louvered hood from the XKR-S GT and Vortex 20-inch forged wheels. The sheetmetal gets a bath in Ultimate Black paint "with special trim" and badged door sill plates. Convertibles will come black roofs, but the Performance Active Exhaust will keep you apprised of the 5.0-liter V8 bellows no matter which car you choose.
They'll go into production this summer and hit dealerships in the fall. There's a lengthy press release below with more info on how this cat will sing its swan song.
Environmental group accuses BMW, JLR of link to deforestation in Paraguay
Wed, Sep 30 2020ASUNCION, Paraguay — Environmental group Earthsight said on Wednesday it has linked some of Europe's largest carmakers to the deforestation of the Chaco, a dry forest region of Paraguay home to jaguars and one of the last uncontacted indigenous groups in the world. The group said in a report that livestock companies have illegally logged lands of the Ayoreo Totobiegosode indigenous ethnic group, some of whose members live in voluntary isolation. The livestock skin is used in leather upholstery of luxury vehicles sold by high-end European auto brands including BMW, Jaguar and Land Rover, the group said. UK-based Earthsight said it had made covert visits to tanneries that bragged about supplying the raw material to the luxury car brands. "BMW is using hides sourced from two slaughterhouses processing cows from ranches responsible for illegal [logging] in the Ayoreo Totobiegosode's forests. Jaguar Land Rover didn't dispute sourcing from a Paraguayan tannery that processes hides from another slaughterhouse doing the same," the report said. Jaguar Land Rover said in a statement to Reuters it had found no evidence to verify Earthsight's claims. It said its European suppliers assured sustainability. "We continue our drive for further transparency and, in this case, the leather supplier in Europe verifies with each raw material supplier that no rural property that directly supplies it is involved in illegal deforestation," the automaker said. BMW did not respond to a request for comment on the Earthsight investigation. Paraguay exports about 50,000 tons of wet-blue leather (tanned, but not dried, dyed or finished) a year, and almost two-thirds of those shipments are bound for Europe, according to the report. Automakers say that leather is a byproduct of the far larger meat industry and high-end cars constitute a comparatively small market niche. But indigenous leaders say deforestation driven by growth in beef and leather exports is encroaching on their territory and destroying their way of life. "As deforestation advances with extensive cattle ranching, they are being imprisoned, they are disappearing," Taguide Picanerai, a spokesman for the Ayoreo community in the Alto Paraguay department, northwest of Asuncion, told Reuters. The region is home to some of the world's highest rates of deforestation, Earthsight said.  Green BMW Jaguar Land Rover
