1970 Jaguar E-type (xke) Ots on 2040-cars

Excellent 1970 Jaguar E-Type convertible. This car starts, runs and goes down the road as a Jaguar XKE should. Engine runs great. Has the syncros in transmission replaces 1000 miles ago. Has car completely gone over and tuned by a Jaguar specialist 500 miles ago. Brakes well with no pull. The interior has all been redone with leather replacement interior. Newer vinyl top. Paint is very good with the exception of a couple bubbles. One is on the bonnet and is the size of a quarter. I have been monitoring it for 4 years and it hasn't gotten any larger. There is another on the drivers side rocker that can't be seen unless it is pointed out. This one is also about the size of a quarter. Neither are through the paint and there is no rust showing anywhere. If I was keeping the car I would repair this Spring. We are talking paint touch up here not a major paint job. Car wins trophies as is. The chrome wire wheels are excellent and the tires have about 80 % left. The spare is also chrome wire wheel. It has the tool kit including the original wheel removal tools. I have a Ohio title and a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate. The speedometer needle jumps back and forth while going down the road. It was fine prior to the transmission work I had done. It has been suggested that there may be a kink in the speedometer cable that is catching as it spins in the casing. The cable and the gear 90 degree connector at the transmission are both new. I hate to sell but I am running out of room and I need to thin out. This is your opportunity to own a great E-type that is ready to drive and show right now or can be taken to a number 1 car quite easily. My reserve is set lower than the Haggerty valuation is for this car and lower than these cars are being bid on this site. Please e-mail any questions. Sorry no additional pictures until May. The car is in storage parked behind 3 other cars. If the cars sells I will dig the car out immediately. It the auction comes close to my reserve I may remove the reserve so car will sell. Thanks for looking

2013 Jaguar XFR-S
Mon, 12 Aug 2013Why Ask Questions When You Already Know The Answer?
"Is it fast?"
We get that question a lot. Several times a month, in fact, and it comes from every corner of our lives - friends, family, complete strangers and even colleagues from time to time. And it's an understandable query. After all, speed, either in a straight line or around a twisty bit of tarmac, is a universally accepted line of demarcation between the typical family sedan and something much more fun and therefore desirable.
2018 Jaguar E-Pace (almost) revealed in new spy photos
Tue, Jun 20 2017Each time we've seen the Jaguar E-Pace out testing, it has been covered in a variety of fake plastic body parts to obscure the actual body. Finally, Jaguar relaxed its camouflage campaign, giving us the chance to see the car's bodywork almost entirely exposed. The only disguise this car was wearing was a form-fitting vinyl wrap. The test car in question confirms a number of our suspicions. The rear hatch is, indeed, extremely raked, which gives the vehicle a sportier look, though will surely reduce cargo capacity. If this crossover was coming from one of the German automakers, they would probably call this a "coupe." The front and rear fenders are also rather exaggerated, and the rear haunches are accented by a rising window line that ends in a pinched-off quarter window. The nose and tail of the crossover are pretty standard Jaguar. The layout of the lights and grilles are generally what you would find on its big brother, the F-Pace. The headlights appear to have some sort of LED arrangement as there are no clearly defined projector or reflector elements. Of course, there's no guarantee that these lights will be used across the line-up. They may just be a feature on higher trim levels. Now that we've also seen the car with so few covers and with production-ready sheet metal, we now expect to see the E-Pace fully revealed in person very soon, probably by the end of the year. It will likely be a 2018 model, and may share engines and drivetrains with the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, since the body shape matches that of a vehicle with a transverse mounted engine. 2022 Jaguar F-Pace Review | Brings some flash to a subdued segment
Tue, Jan 18 2022The 2022 Jaguar F-Pace is an aesthetically pleasing alternative to the regular crowd of compact luxury SUVs from Europe and Asia. It bears the leaper proudly on its tightly-wrapped and attractive bodywork, and there’s little to complain about on the interior, too. Jaguar offers a level of performance available for whatever fits your fancy, but this SUV would rather be a cruiser and backroad bruiser versus a Nurburgring-carver no matter the model you choose. Some of our usual Jaguar Land Rover gripes have dissipated with the F-Pace recently, as itÂ’s now sporting a competent suite of tech to match its good looks. Plus, the new and complex inline-six engine is a real treat to use no matter the environment — it pulls hard when called upon, but has a smooth and luxurious side around town. We think itÂ’s the engine to get. The F-Pace fits in nicely to this large group of luxury crossovers on sale today, offering an unmatched level of style and a good dose of substance to back it up. WeÂ’d still recommend a couple luxury SUVs before it, but the F-Pace is a more worthy alternative than itÂ’s ever been today. Interior & Technology  |  Passenger & Cargo Space  |  Performance & Fuel Economy What it's like to drive  |  Pricing & Features  |  Crash Ratings & Safety Features WhatÂ’s new for 2022? There are no notable changes for the F-Pace in 2022 beyond a few optional items being made standard. Those include a power tailgate and privacy glass for the four- and six-cylinder models, and adaptive cruise control with lane-following assist for the SVR. The F-Pace received a makeover for the 2021 model year, and you can read more about that here. What are the F-Pace interior and in-car technology like? The F-PaceÂ’s interior just went through a big rethink last year that upgraded it into the realm of a top-shelf luxury cabin. It has an upscale look, uses excellent materials, and while it may struggle to find that balance between the inclusion of features and maintaining ease of use, nobody will criticize it for a lack of trying with technology. Per usual with Jaguar, the color and materials choices are vast, allowing you to find a combination that best fits your personality. The standard heated (front) seats are comfortable, and the interior as a whole measures up to its leading competitors out of Germany in the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class.
