This beautifully restored classic Jaguar was part of a collection of a real genuine motoring enthusiast. Their vast procurement over the years of classic cars represents some of the best cars of any collection. Reluctantly it has been decided to sell some of them, and you now have the opportunity to become the new owner. LOCATION OF VEHICLE
All of our cars are located in the Ulster County area of New York. Cars will not be driven to an inspections site, all inspections must be carried out at our locations only. You may bring with you any expert or professional personnel you wish at the time of the inspection, but cars will not be "dismantled" for your inspection. If the inspection is to be done at our shop then we can provide a mechanic for a period of one hour free of charge to help answer any technical questions you may have at that time. Photographs are not allowed during the inspection, however, if a particular area is available (photos) in our data base then we will print it for you at our location. A SimpleEasyAuctions staff member will always be present at the time of inspection to assist with any questions you may have.

SHIPPING
It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange for pick up and/or shipping. It will not be shipped by SimpleEasyAuctions. However, SimpleEasyAuctions will assist you in any and every way we can. Please do not ask us for shipping quotes: we are not shippers and we do the same research that you can do to get a quote from a carrier. We are happy to assist you with this information but we are not bound by any referrals we make in our attempt to help you. Any and all shipping/delivery agreements are strictly between you and the selected carrier/organization. Shipping and pickup arrangements must be made within two weeks after receipt and clearance of full payment. Any days over this period are subject to a daily storage fee of $50.00 at our discretion. It is strongly advised not to "ride the car back to my home state". However, if that is your choice and if you plan to pick up your purchase and drive it back over long distances to your destination: we are not liable for any event that may develop as a result of this decision. Terms of Sale: All deposits must be in the form of USPS Money Order or Bank Check, or via Pay Pal. We also can accept all major credit cards -for deposits only. Final payment is required within the timetable posted on the auction site (no exceptions please). Any vehicle inspections must be made during the auction. Once the auction is completed and you are the winner, you own the vehicle. 2016 Jaguar XJR meets 1988 XJR9-LM at Silverstone

The current Jaguar XJR is not the first Jaguar XJR. Not by a long shot. In fact there's a long and distinguished history of Jaguar production and racing models that have worn those letters over the years. So to highlight its lineage, Jaguar brought the 2016 model together with its nearly 30-year-old racing namesake to Silverstone. And it brought Andy Wallace along for the ride. Wallace won at Le Mans in 1988 driving the XJR9-LM. Designed for the race track and adorned with iconic Silk Cut livery, the XJR9 looks entirely different from the XJR luxury sedan you can buy today. And with a 7.0-liter V12 mounted amidships instead of the modern sedan's 5.0-liter supercharged V8 placed up front, they're mechanically different beasts as well. But it's not the difference in design, powertrain, or performance that Jaguar is highlighting in this video encounter. Instead, Wallace is impressed by the advancement of the lighting technology from the Le Mans racer he drove in the late 1980s to the sedan sold today. 2021 Jaguar XF First Drive Review | The final saloon to wear a Leaper?

The 2021 Jaguar XF has arrived. After a series of pandemic-related delays, Jaguar Land Rover’s latest models have finally started appearing stateside, ready to find their way into the waiting hands of buyers thirsting for options after a year of economic uncertainty. Like just about everything else in the Jaguar lineup, however, the XF was also subjected to a dramatic tidying-up for the 2021 model year that leaves it cheaper, simpler and, sadly, quite a bit less exciting. While JaguarÂ’s crossovers get new powertrain options as part of a simultaneous future-proofing effort, the big upgrade for the 2021 XF is an overhauled cabin. Just about every visible component in the XFÂ’s interior is new for 2021. The 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system gets a swanky new magnesium frame to go with its complete software overhaul. The new system plays nicely with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and is capable of over-the-air updates. Jaguar has also added a number of standard features including proximity entry, wireless phone charging, active noise cancellation, a surround-view camera system and a 12-speaker Meridian sound system, all for $45,145.00 Â– about 10 grand cheaper than a base Audi A6, Volvo S90, Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series. ThereÂ’s bad with the good, however. In case you missed it, the XF is now JaguarÂ’s only sedan, and the downsides donÂ’t end there for four-door fans. Jaguar not only got rid of its other sedans, it also pared down the XF to just a handful of variants. Wagon? Nope. Bigger engines? Nuh-uh. In 2020, Jaguar offered 10 different versions of the XF; this year, that number is three: P250 S RWD, P250 SE RWD and P300 R-Dynamic SE AWD. Helpfully, Jaguar names its models for their engine output figures (in PS, not HP, mind you). The P250 variants make 246 American horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque and are offered exclusively with rear-wheel drive; the P300 R-Dynamic SE picks up another 50 horses and 27 lb-ft, along with an extra pair of driven wheels. Both utilize an eight-speed ZF automatic; both get the same size front and rear brakes. And thatÂ’s it. No six- or eight-cylinder variants. If you want more fun, look into an F-Pace. Welcome to 2021. If you were hoping for a redeeming description of a slimmed-down, lightweight XFÂ’s sporty driving dynamics right about now, sorry, youÂ’re not getting that either.

Jaguar wants to make real-life driving just like a video game

Jaguar Land Rover is on a bit of a tech bent today. It's announced its new family of four-cylinder engines and a "self-learning" vehicle Range Rover prototype, and now it's announced what it calls the Jaguar Virtual Windscreen.
The technology is similar to other head-up displays and telematics recorders already on the market, the Jaguar Virtual Windscreen concept takes things to the next level to turn real-life driving into a video game-like experience. It's being demonstrated with data like lap times, grid positions, virtual racing line and brake guidance... even "ghost" cars from previous laps and virtual cones for simulated autocrossing. Just like you'd find in the latest version of Forza or Gran Turismo, but you know... in an actual car - in this case a Jaguar F-Type. It's similar to the Transparent Bonnet system Land Rover revealed a couple of months ago, but instead of rock-crawling, it's for the race track.
The system also incorporates gesture controls and could be configured to display instrument data, a video feed from a rear-view camera to replace the mirror. Check out the details and the video below for a closer look at what JLR has got in store for the near future.
