TRIBUTE CAR TO 'STEVE MCQUEEN' THE GOLDEN YEARS.                                                                                                        B"H

CALIFORNIA NATIVE

NO RUST

NO ACCIDENTS

CLEAN CARFAX SCORES ABOVE HIGH.

This beautiful 2003 XKR coupe is much more rarely seen then the convertible and in many people’s eyes, a much more attractive car. With its sleek lines, this is truly one of the most beautiful cars Jaguar has ever produced. Coupled with the supercharged V8 under the hood, this car has everything you could ask for.

The paint on the car is all original and finished in British Racing Green. There is some minor checking on the hood and front fender, but nothing untypical for a car of this year and mileage. The car shows no damage or signs of accidents. Both front and rear bumpers are in good condition with no notable damage, just some minor scratches and dings from age. There is a small outward dent on the left rear fender where something hit from inside the trunk. Nothing major, but it is there.

Inside, the tan leather looks great and looks as good as it would in a car with a quarter of the miles. The seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears. There is some very minor wear to the drivers side bolster but this is expected. The carpet’s look great as well as the door panels and carpet. All of the wood inside is good with no cracking that we’ve seen. All gauges work as they should as does the navigation.

Under the hood, the supercharged V8 is nicely detailed and looks great. Turn the key and the car comes to life and runs down the road with no problems. These supercharged V8’s love to run and with its 390 horsepower and nearly 400 ft lbs of torque, the car is an absolute blast to drive. Connected to the 6 speed automatic ZF transmission, the car is a pleasure to drive on the highway. These cars have a sport mode which speeds up the shifts and makes this car much more sportier to drive.

The wheels are the correct 18” STEALTH BLACK XKR wheels and are wrapped with Continental radials. The front tires have 90% tread but the rears show around 85% left. The factory  wheels show only very minimal curb rash and look great. This is a great Jaguar that has tons of life left in it. The current mileage shows 115,980 and is actual for the car. The VIN number is SAJDA41B233A35071 and is being sold on a clean, actual mileage

Jaguar Land Rover mulling factory in Georgia?

Sat, Feb 7 2015

London's Sunday Times reported last October that Jaguar-Land Rover was sniffing around The South looking for a potential manufacturing site, and was "talking to several southern states." We imagine Georgia was one of them; The Peach State has Kia Motors Manufacturing in West Point, it claims Porsche HQ as a resident, and soon the Mercedes-Benz regional office, too. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has said that Governor Nathan Deal recently took the initiative to fly to the UK to "make prospect calls" with JLR executives about a deal. We don't have any details about the calls, but we'll guess that they involved Deal making a financial case for GA over other states while sipping a cup of tea. It's said that the English luxury maker wants to build a factory here with a 200,000-unit capacity, to take advantage of the same financial efficiencies that have planted other automakers in the US and Mexico; it opened a facility in China last year to build the Range Rover Evoque, Land Rover Discovery Sport, and the Jaguar XE, and is casting eyes over Brazilian and Saudi Arabian soil for other facilities. No timetable has been given for a decision. Jaguar might not sell many XF Sportbrakes in the U.S., but here's why it's trying

Fri, Sep 22 2017

One of the wonderful surprises of this year was when we learned that the U.S. would receive the XF Sportbrake wagon, and — less of a surprise — it's as much a looker as the previous generation. And while we're never one to look a gift car in the grille, it did seem strange that Jaguar would attempt to bring a wagon to the U.S., especially when it already had a similarly sized F-Pace crossover. So we spoke with Jaguar CEO Joe Eberhardt, Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum, and Jaguar's head of product planning in the U.S. to find out what prompted the company to bring the XF Sportbrake here. There were a few key reasons. One was simply that the folks at Jaguar really like the car, and they know that journalists like wagons. That doesn't exactly pay the bills for a car, but the enthusiasm is good. According to these people at Jaguar, though, they do believe there is a market for the car, and they expect to sell most of them on the coasts. Obviously, even if Jaguar sees a wagon market, it's still going to be much smaller than for crossover SUVs. But no matter how small that market is, Jaguar has an extra advantage for bringing the wagon here. The company knew it was going to make a wagon regardless of whether it would come to America, since the wagon market in Europe is so strong. In fact, Jaguar expects that half of XF sales in Europe will be Sportbrakes. So the majority of the engineering costs will be covered from those sales. The folks at Jaguar also told us that the car wasn't difficult to homologate for the U.S., so the cost of bringing it here was minimal. So in the worst case scenario that has the XF Sportbrake hardly selling in America, Jaguar isn't going to be seriously hurt. And if it's a success, then it's even more of a success. So the XF Sportbrake isn't purely a passion product, but that's OK. It means consumers have one more option to the multitude of crossovers in the U.S., and enthusiasts have the chance to own a super cool wagon. Also, although the XF Sportbrake is currently only available in America in top-level 380-horsepower S trim, Jaguar said lower trim levels and lower-output engines, all at lower prices, will be available here in the coming year or so. Meaning there will be even more ways to satisfy your wagon itch. Related Video:

Jaguar XE bares its claws in 74 images [w/video]

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

The XE may prove to be the most vital new model to Jaguar's expansion. But to date we've only really seen it in top-spec, supercharged XE S form. That ends right here and now, however, as Jaguar releases details, photos and even a brief video clip showing the entire range - including those most customers are bound to buy.
Globally speaking - or at least in its home market - Jaguar will offer the XE with five different engines and in four different trim levels. The new Ingenium engine family includes two diesels and two turbocharged gasoline options along with the top-of-the-line supercharged V6 that will serve as the XE's performance flagship model, at least until a new SVR version comes along. Both six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmissions are on offer, and overseas buyers will also be able to choose between base SE, mid-range Prestige, opulent Portfolio, dynamic R-Sport and range-topping S trim levels.
Of course not every engine is available in each trim level and with either transmission, so instead of 40 combinations we're looking at 22. Once the XE reaches American showrooms, we'll likely be looking at even fewer, as we're not expecting the manual and diesel versions to be offered Stateside. Stay tuned as well for our live impressions from the floor of the Paris Motor Show. But in the meantime you can scope out all the details and UK specifications in the press release below, along with the short video and the gallery of 74 high-resolution images above.
