NO RESERVE AUCTION - THIS JAGUAR WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER
This Jaguar XK8 is in very nice condition. Our XK8 looks like a car with much less than the 59965 miles. It is often mistaken for a much newer car.
We are the second owners, buying it with 12,057 miles from the original owner. It has been garaged its entire life and never been in snow or salt. The original owners bought it in Salt Lake but kept it in their Huntington Beach, California home. We live in St. George, Utah (about 100 miles from Las Vegas). It has received excellent care and maintenance per manufacturer's specifications. It is Aquamarine metallic with contrasting Cashmere interior and matching top. The additional options include the all weather package (heated seats, automatic stability control etc.), AM/FM CD Changer and chrome Jaguar wheels. Everything works well, there are no known issues.
The interior is in very good condition with the only imperfection is some wear showing on the driver's seat back lower right side (typical of every XK8 due to the bucket seat design), otherwise the interior is like new. The top is like new! The paint and body condition is good to very good. When backing out of neighbor's driveway we rubbed up against a post and scratched the paint on the back right quarter panel. The entire quarter panel was repainted following that incident with the Aquamarine color and clear coat. In some lighting conditions you can see a slightly darker shade on this panel. The boot for the convertible top blew partially off and flapped on the trunk lid making a couple of minor door ding like marks. A paint-less dent repair man said he would fix it for under $100. We have added some Velcro to prevent the boot from catching the wind at 80 MPH (Jaguar has since added a larger tuck in flap to prevent this problem on newer models).
Recent maintenance includes 8 new Bosch platinum/iridium spark plugs, four new tires (have 80% of the tread on a 50,000 mile Hankook performance tires), 4 wheel alignment, new front brakes, had the water pump replaced (XK8s have a plastic impeller that can wear out) with cooling system flush and refill (should be good for 50,000 miles), oil changes. Most of our miles are highway miles traveling between Las Vegas and Park City.
The original out the door price was $75,860. Standard are full power leather seats, driver memory system, power steering column, full size spare on matching chrome wheel (never been on the ground), power everything including the top, homelink garage door openers, etc.
You may find one for less but not in this condition and with the care and maintenance this Jaguar XK8 has received.

Jaguar lifts the tailgate on XFR-S Sportbrake
Tue, 25 Feb 2014In the market for an amped-up Jaguar? Look for the letter R, adorning such performance models as the XFR and XJR sedans, the XKR coupe and convertible and the new F-Type R. But if it's bonkers performance you're after, you'll want to add the letter S into the mix as well. Jaguar uses the letters to connote its most hard-core performance variants like the two-door XKR-S and four-door XFR-S. And now it's applied them to the XF wagon as well, skipping the R treatment and going straight for the new XFR-S Sportbrake.
Leaked just the other day and headed for the Geneva Motor Show, Jaguar has now revealed its new power wagon in full. The XFR-S Sportbrake packs Coventry's ubiquitous 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine boasting 542 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque. That's the same version that powers the XKR-S and XFR-S sedan (not to mention the F-Type R and XJR), and drives the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic to rocket the estate to 60 in 4.6 seconds and on to an electronically limited top speed of 186 miles per hour.
That may be pretty quick, but doesn't quite stack up to the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S-Model 4Matic Estate whose 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 offers up 577 hp and 590 lb-ft for a 3.6-second 0-60 time, or to the Audi RS6 Avant whose 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 churns out 552 hp and 516 lb-ft for a 3.9-second 0-62 sprint. Though the Jaguar is only a little behind in output, it's a good second slower where it's measured. Granted that the Benz and the Audi are both all-wheel-drive where the Jaguar powers the rear only, but if four-wheel traction is how you get the power to the road, we wonder why Jaguar wouldn't fall in line. Particularly when the Jag's starting price in the UK (don't expect to see it imported here) is quoted at £82,495 - several grand more than the £76,985 RS6 but just shy of the £85,880 Mercedes gets for the E63 S-Model wagon in the UK (where the less potent 'base' version is also available as the cheapest in the bunch at £75,885).
2015 Jaguar F-Type V6 S Coupe
Wed, 03 Sep 2014My first, ill-fated job in the auto world was at an exotic car dealer in metro Detroit. The job itself sucked, but the cars, they were exceptional. Amidst a sea of Tiptronic Porsche Boxsters, first-gen Mercedes-Benz SLKs and abused second-generation Range Rovers, there were some real gems.
In particular, I have fond memories of a trio of undrivable Jaguar E-Types. Two Series II coupes as well as a Series III convertible (that featured a mostly broken roof) spent the entirety of my brief tenure at the dealership in the back of the musty service garage. I'd make side trips through there just to see the trio of E-Types, which rarely failed to put a big, ridiculous grin on my face.
Since that time in the summer of 2005, there hasn't been a single Jag that's been capable of eliciting the same goofy smile. Not the XFR-S, with its un-aristocratic wing, nor the XKR-S. At the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, though, Jaguar introduced this F-Type Coupe. Sure, the droptop model had been around for a bit, but I thought it was the new coupe that most captured the E-Type's classic aesthetic, with a swooping roofline, those gorgeous rear haunches and a long, powerful hood. I had to drive one.
2019 Jaguar XJ50 is a supercharged birthday present
Wed, Apr 25 2018Jaguar is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its elegant luxury sedan, the XJ, with a stylish and supercharged new model called the XJ50. This nod to eight generations of XJ comes in long-wheelbase format and is powered by either a 340-horsepower supercharged V6, or snarling 470-hp supercharged V8. While the V6 model is available with a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive, the more powerful V8 is offered only in rear-wheel drive form. Revealed for the first time at the 2018 Beijing Motor Show, the XJ50 is visually separated by the standard XJ sedan by having unique front and rear bumpers, a gloss black grille, special badges on the side vents, along with 20-inch alloy wheels with a gloss black diamond turned finish. Four colors will be available: Rosello Red, Santorini Black, Fuji White, and Loire Blue. How something along the lines of British Racing Green didn't make the cut remains a marketing mystery, however. This content is hosted by a third party. The XJ50 cabin is fitted with unique touches like an XJ50 logo on the front center armrest, illuminated XJ50-branded treadplates, diamond-quilted seats with the Jaguar leaper logo on the headrests, along with metal pedals and aluminum shift paddles mounted on the steering wheel. "This is a car worth celebrating and the XJ50 pays homage to a giant within the Jaguar brand that we believe is one of the world's most stylish sporting saloons," said Ian Callum, Jaguar Director of Design. While only the most jaded automotive Grinch wouldn't enjoy a birthday celebration -- really, who doesn't like cake with their illuminated treadplates(?) -- there's a sense the XJ50 marks the end of the road for the brand's long-serving luxury sedan. Rumors persist that the XJ will soon migrate to an all-electric platform, to compete directly against cars like the Tesla Model S and upcoming Porsche Mission E. Jaguar did not release an exact price of the 2019 XJ50, though a long-wheelbase XJ with the 340-hp V6 and rear-wheel drive carries a starting price of approximately $84,500.Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party.
