I'm selling this Jaguar xjs Vanden Plas with 11,721 original miles. The car was kept in temperature controlled storage unit, driven for leisure by original owner (my uncle), maintained by jaguar solely. Original owner was family member who gave us this car last July. We have stored the car in our garage, and have only driven it approximately 300 miles ourselves. There are a couple small dings, one on the roof from a broom falling on it in our garage, and another on the passenger rear door from my husband's car being parked next to it. This car has never seen rain, only taken out on beautiful sunny days. It drives like a dream.....the interior is immaculate, it still smells new. The original fluffy sheepskin mats are safely stored in the trunk.....they have never been used. It has cream interior with red piping....absolutely gorgeous. Please feel free to ask questions....this car needs to be driven. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility.

Win a 1963 Jaguar E-Type, the most beautiful car ever made
Wed, May 26 2021Autoblog may receive a share from purchases made via links on this page. Pricing and availability is subject to change. No donation or payment necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes. See official rules on Omaze. While looks may indeed be subjective, when someone like Enzo Ferrari calls a vehicle “the most beautiful car ever made” itÂ’s hard to argue against it. The Series 1 Jaguar E-Type is undeniably gorgeous, as well as iconic, and Omaze is giving away an immaculately restored 1963 example. Win a 1963 Jaguar XKE and $20,000 - Enter at Omaze This E-Type comes with an upgraded five-speed manual transmission, “its original wire-spoke wheels, luxurious leather interior and signature 3.8-liter inline-six-cylinder engine,” which makes 265 horsepower. That is modest by todayÂ’s standards but certainly not the case nearly 60 years ago. The car's gorgeous black exterior and caramel leather interior will turn heads no matter what street youÂ’re driving down and with the $20,000 in cash included, the total value of this prize is nearly a quarter million dollars. YouÂ’re probably asking yourself, what does it take to win? First of all, according to Omaze, "no donation or payment is necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes." $10 will get you 100 entries, while $50 will get you 1,000 entries and $100 will get you 2,000 entries. The donations themselves benefit The PrinceÂ’s Trust, which, according to Omaze, “helps young people develop the confidence and skills they need to realize their ambitions. Founded by The Prince of Wales in 1976, the charity supports youth who are unemployed, struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Their programming aims to give vulnerable young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilize their lives, helping develop self-esteem and skills for work. This summer The PrinceÂ’s Trust marked helping 1 million young people, and is committed to supporting a further million over the next decade.” If you want this opportunity to own this nearly sixty-year old piece of iconic automotive history, enter here. The deadline to enter is May 27, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. The 200-mph Jaguar F-Type SVR is coming to Geneva
Wed, Jan 27 2016Jaguar has good news for us: The new F-Type SVR will make its grand debut at March's Geneva Motor Show. Following up on leaked stats from last week, Jag confirms the hardtop F-Type SVR will be capable of hitting 200 miles per hour. The British brand doesn't go much further in confirming other details from last week's report, though. So even though the top end's extra 14 mph has to come from somewhere, we still can't be certain it'll be thanks to a reported 567 horsepower or 516 pound-feet of torque. Jag also won't yet confirm the reported claim of a 3.7-second sprint to 62 mph. What the company is saying, though, is that its first SVR-badged model will be "lighter, faster, and more powerful." JLR's Special Operations boss, John Edwards, calls the new SVR an "all-weather supercar." That lends credence to initial reports that the hottest F-Type will send its power to all four wheels. While the F-Type SVR will hit the Geneva stage on March 1, we won't be waiting that long for all the details – Jaguar will release a complete array of images and details on February 17. We'll have more then. 200MPH JAGUAR F-TYPE SVR TO MAKE GLOBAL DEBUT AT 2016 GENEVA MOTOR SHOW (MAHWAH, N.J.) – January 26, 2016 - The new 2017 Jaguar F-TYPE SVR will make its global debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show on March 1, 2016 and will go on sale in summer 2016. Capable of accelerating to 200mph, the new F-TYPE SVR is the first Jaguar to wear the SVR badge and is developed to exploit the two-seat aluminum sports car's full potential while retaining its day-to-day usability. Lighter, faster and more powerful, the new F-TYPE SVR takes performance, dynamics and driver involvement to a new level yet retains the comfort and duality of character inherent to all Jaguar cars. "The new F-TYPE SVR is the first series production Jaguar car to be developed by Special Vehicle Operations and benefits from everything we know about precision engineering, performance and design," said John Edwards, Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations. "The result is a 200mph, all-weather supercar that you can drive every day – we even made a Convertible version so that enthusiasts can revel in the sound from the new titanium exhaust system." The new F-TYPE SVR will join the 2017 Model Year F-TYPE Coupe and Convertible range comprising of the F-TYPE, F-TYPE Premium, F-TYPE S, F-TYPE British Design Edition and F-TYPE R.
Can a Jaguar XKR-S be drifted while blindfolded?
Thu, 27 Dec 2012Bring together a 550-horsepower Jaguar XKR-S and a rain-soaked skidpad, and it's almost impossible to not end up in a sideways drift... accidental or on purpose. With that in mind, the gang over at Autocar got a hold of the monstrous XKR-S for the latest installment of "Will it Drift?," only they raised the stakes a little by attempting the feat with a blindfolded driver
We've driven the XKR-S a number of times here at Autoblog (including a First Drive, Review and Quick Spin), so we weren't at all surprised to learn that blind drifting in the car is possible. But what is remarkable is the ease at which it happened. This, of course, can be credited as much to the car as to the driver, Steve Sutcliffe. Check out the impressive video for yourself, which is posted after the jump.
