1989 Jaguar XJS Collection ROUGE This RARE COLLECTORS CAR ONLY has 47,006 ORIGINAL MILES! From my research this car is... Considered "ONE OF THE RAREST OF THE RARE JAGUARS" AND "THERE IS ONLY 8 LEFT IN KNOWN EXISTENCE" The Original Sticker Price of the Collection Rouge was around $100,000 back in 1989. and This car was called the "Poor Mans Ferrari". This car does reminds me of a 1989 Ferrari, similar color, leather, and interior design. (The interior of this car is excellent shape especially for 25 years old.) In February 1989 the Collection Rouge was Awarded the Title of "Worlds Fastest Production Car"! Later that year the McLaren broke the record and ended the year as the fastest production car. Still, the 1989 Collection Rouge held the title of "One of the Worlds Fastest Production Car". Collection Rouge was only made in 1989 and 1990. These cars where very similar, one major difference is the 1989 has the Automatic Seatbelt. I think it is a very cool feature. This is a Very Nice and Smooth Driving Car that Handles Extremely Well with POWER! PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES TO DETERMINE THE CONDITION OF THE CAR. The car is in excellent condition for turning 25 (VINTAGE) in 2014. *The car starts and drives well. *I had all the hoses replaced. *The Air Condition was replaced and upgraded (The A/C blow COLD!!!) *The leather seats look almost new, the carpet is in great shape, no cracks in the dash. To the best of my knowledge: *All Original Interior except one piece of wood. *All electrical is working except the RADAR DETECTOR on the Steering Wheel. The exterior *Is in good shape; normal wear *All Original Rims *Paint shows some aging If you have any questions or would like a test drive please contact me. *Please verify my research statements about the Collection Rouge **Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE |

Jaguar Land Rover UK factories could shut down in two weeks due to coronavirus
Tue, Feb 18 2020COVENTRY, England — Jaguar Land Rover has enough parts from China to maintain its British production for the next two weeks but not beyond that at the moment, Chief Executive Ralf Speth said on Tuesday. Britain's biggest carmaker, which operate three car factories in its home market, joined major global companies such as Apple in warning of the impact of the virus on supply chains. The rapidly spreading virus has killed nearly 1,900 in China and stricken some 72,000 people, confining millions to their homes, disrupting supply chains and delaying reopening of factories after the extended Lunar New Year holiday break. "We are safe for this week and we are safe for next week and in the third week we have... parts missing," said Speth when asking about the potential impact on British production. He said the firm's Chinese factory would open next week and was "safe for the very first week." Sales were not currently happening in China and it was unclear when they would return, he added. The boss of Tata Motors, JLR's parent company, speaking at the same event, said the company does not have sufficient visibility regarding parts suppliers from China. "We are safe for the month of February and for a good part of March," said Guenter Butschek. "Are we fully covered at this point of time for the full month of March? Unfortunately...not." Jaguar Land Rover opening its first U.S.-based classic center in Georgia
Sun, Aug 19 2018Jaguar Land Rover Classic currently operates two of its Works Centres, one in Coventry, England and the other in Essen-Kettwig, Germany (pictured). Just in time for Pebble Beach, the English carmaker has announced that it will bring its first facility to the United States next year, having signed a deal to open the latest Works operation in Savannah, Georgia. To be located in the Crossroads Business Park near Gulfstream Aerospace, the facility will engage in the sales, service, and restoration of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles out of production for at least ten years. The 150,000-square-foot Coventry site opened two years ago and is said to be the largest dedicated factory workshop of its kind (the largest unaffiliated shop is in the Philippines). Jaguar builds its continuation cars there, like the D-Type and XKSS, while Land Rover uses it to build the Defender Works V8. Shoppers can also buy vintage models off the showroom floor, a variation of the Certified Pre-Owned program called Works Legends, that come with a 12-month warranty. Or, Jaguar Land Rover will locate, restore, and maintain one of the classic company products that a buyer chooses. In the UK, a Land Rover Series 1 starts at around $90,000, a Jaguar E-Type starts at around $400,000. The 48,000 Essen-Kettwig center opened last year with the same brief, and the U.S. center can provide those services to the world's largest classic car market. Construction on the 75,000-square-foot complex is scheduled to begin next August, and the facility will include a 42-bay workshop and showroom. The automaker will invest from $10 to $15 million, and predicts more than $45 million in revenue. Savannah Economic Development Authority President and CEO Trip Tollison told The Savannah Morning News that JLR will hire 75 workers at a starting salary of $80,000. Jaguar teases E-Pace crossover details - and price under $40K
Wed, Jun 21 2017So it turns out we'll be seeing the fully revealed Jaguar E-Pace much sooner than we expected. Jaguar announced the debut will occur on July 13, so we're less than a month away. The company also provided a teaser of the E-Pace's tail. It shows a fat rear fender and Jaguar's trademark taillight design. While many other companies would be content to release a teaser and nothing else, Jaguar actually provided a number of other interesting details. Among them is the powertrain. It will only be available with gasoline-powered engines and all-wheel drive. We're expecting it to use roughly the same powertrain combinations as the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The other big details are pricing and availability. The baby Jaguar SUV starts at $39,595, which is over $3,000 less than the entry-level F-Pace and the Range Rover Evoque. You'll also be able to bring one home from the dealer next year. Related Video: Image Credit: Jaguar Jaguar Crossover SUV Luxury jaguar e-pace
