Very well maintained Jaguar XJR.
Options include : 400 HP supercharged V8 ( heavily refined for this model year and having owned all three iterations of the XJR there is nothing that compares to these aluminum bodied cars. The engine is also revised and much more reliable) Adaptive Cruise control Heated Steering wheel Heated front and rear seats multi zone climate R package leather embossed seats Power seats Xenon lights Rear LED lights Wood inserts Brembo big brakes Air ride additionally this car is fitted with the exquisite Mina Gallery Exhaust. It is of the highest quality stainless and sounds tasteful yet… really they should have all sounded like this. It looks perfect out back with the slightly larger and slightly better quality than stock tips. It also has the Mina Gallery mesh grill. Never driven in snow, stored in a heated temp controlled building during winters, Florida car and always garaged. This car drives so nice. I have used it for a couple of longer trips (one to New York and once to Florida) and it is just such a fantastic highway car. The radar adaptive cruise is second to none, even better than in the Mercedes and has always worked faultlessly and maintained a serene cruise. Car comes with -OEM center caps (brand new and not fitted , again I had intended to have the wheels refurbished but years have passed and i have not. ) -Original exhaust -Original grill -New floor mats OEM purchased 9k miles ago -Full size spare (matching 19 inch wheel) -Factory jack and some tools -Books and some records (it will not come with a nav disc as I simply cannot find it) -one flip key -OEM touch up stick Recent service includes : -Oil changes at 3k intervals -Oil pan gasket and seal less than 1k miles ago. leaks nothing on my garage floor -Blower fan motor -Blower fan resistor Most people selling cars here on ebay would just say "car is 9/10" but honestly. I am just too picky and I am going to tell you every little thing. Yes. it looks beautiful Yes, you will get compliments. Yes it would be front line on some dealer lot if not in the show room .. but … the wheels do have some curb rash. I have mentioned this several times and it is clear in the images. Car looks fantastic and has been treated with SONAX paint protection. Detailed regularly and with high end products . It does have some scratches and a door ding in one the rear doors. The rear plastic trim piece (jaguar) has trim clips that have failed and a small crack just below the license plate frame. The rear bumper is very clean with no issues. The car has parking sensors but I have seen cars where despite this there are still marks on the bumper . this is not one of those cars. Front bumper has some small stone chips . Hood has a few faint scratches (see pics) . I looked at quite a few of these before purchasing this one and I have to say nearly all were less clean than this car. Interior there are some marks on the steering wheel leather and a small scratch in the middle of the driver seat. The black plastic piece around the gear shift surround has some marks and has a broken clip. not obvious but worth mentioning. Overall very clean and well cared for through out. Seats and carpets are far above what you would expect. Doors and arm rests are excellent. Radio works perfect, CD works and the sound is very crisp and clear. All power options work. All lights work, all locks, timers , etc work properly. I will say this . I have had LOTS of Jaguars. I have an XJR V12 and am a big fan of the XJR's in particular. This car has been BULLET PROOF. It returns AMAZING fuel economy of 26-27 highway… the old body would never dream of that . If you are interested please email me or text 614.940.3644 for more details. PLEASE note. I have no idea why the auto check is saying frame damage . As you will see the car has no accident history on auto check or car fax. I am contacting the auto auction to see what the discrepancy is. I have the car fax from when the car was purchased by myself and this was not indicated. simply fyi. Cheers!
Here is a link to 30 plus pics of the car
here is a video walk around of the car showing some details of the vehicle including drive quality.

Jaguar F-Type Coupe is here, will debut on stage in LA
Tue, 05 Nov 2013When Jaguar previewed its new sportscar two years ago with the C-X16 concept, it showed a coupe form. But when the car hit production as the F-Type, it rolled out in roadster form only. Not that we're complaining, but we all knew it wouldn't be long before Coventry revealed the production coupe, and that's just what it's doing at this month's LA Auto Show.
Jaguar hasn't given us much to go on yet - just a single shot of the vehicle from above and nothing in the way of technical details - but we all know the drill. The F-Type Coupe will essentially be the same as the existing roadster, only with a fixed roof - with a large glass panel, mind you, to let plenty of light in and keep the cabin from feeling markedly more claustrophobic than the open-top version.
That ought to make it a little lighter (though not much) and a little stiffer, but otherwise we can expect more or less the same specs as the convertible. We'll have to wait until the evening of November 19 to know for sure, though, so watch this space for more.
Jaguar designs Tour de France racing bike [w/video]
Sun, 01 Jun 2014Jaguar is known for designing luxury sedans, and it's known for designing GTs. But once in a while it dabbles in a new area of transportation design. It's working on its first crossover at the moment, and even did a speedboat concept a couple of years ago. Now it's turned its attention to bicycles.
While many automakers have designed bikes in the past, Jaguar's project has a bit more of a direct correlation. It's been working with Team Sky - the outfit that has won the Tour de France two years running now - since 2010, furnishing the team with support vehicles for bicycle races around the world. But now it's stepping its collaboration up a notch by redesigning the team's bike.
Working with frame manufacturer Pinarello, Jaguar took the existing Dogma 65.1 racing bike design back to the drawing board. Jaguar's designers and engineers reshaped the frame tubes, seat post, front fork, derailleur and all the components attached to the frame, each part streamlined for aerodynamic efficiency. They ran it through Jaguar's Computational Fluid Dynamics processor 300 times then verified the results in the wind tunnel.
Jaguar Land Rover puts the freeze on wounded soldier-athletes [w/video]
Mon, 21 Jul 2014For athletes, the cold is often a powerful ally in treating injures, with RICE (rest, ice, compression and elevation) a popular means of treating muscle pulls, bruising and other common forms of discomfort. Did you know, though, that frosty temps are also popular tools for simply recovering from a rough training session?
Well, we're guessing Jaguar Land Rover knew that, as the British company was kind enough to loan out its climactic testing chamber to Jaco van Gass and Luke Darlington, a pair of veterans wounded in their service to Queen and Country. Van Gass, a former private in the Royal Army, and Darlington, a Royal Marine, are attempting to earn a spot on the British Armed Forces cycling team for the upcoming Invictus Games.
The Games, inspired by the Warrior Games held in the United States, are a sporting competition reserved for injured servicemen and women, either active duty or veterans, and is slated to take place from September 10 to 14 in London's former Olympic venues. Van Gass lost his left arm below the elbow after getting hit by a rocket-propelled grenade (he also suffered from a collapsed lung, punctured internal organs, severe shrapnel and blast wounds, a broken tibia and a fractured knee). Darlington, meanwhile, suffered a traumatic brain injury during action in Afghanistan, and he now suffers from weakness in his right side and cognitive issues.
