2002 Jaguar Xjr Base Sedan 4-door 4.0l on 2040-cars

This is a 2002 Jaguar XJR sedan very clean ,very smooth ride. It is a V8 supercharged engine and there was a new engine installed in the car so the odometer mileage says about 190,000 but on the motor there is only about 73,000.
It has new tires , new brakes , new rotors. it has a working sun roof . Also this car is automatic , but you can drive the car manually if you would like. This car is in wonderful great clean condition. I had any issue taken care of with respect to maintenance. This is a great car where u just turn the key and go. This baby is fast and jumps to attention. It also is a great cruising car, where you just open the sunroof and enjoy the ride. It is also a great everyday car and is very dependable. I stand by this car 100l%. I promise that you will not have any issue with this car for along time to come. As mentioned early there was a lot of work done to this car. I owned it for 3 yrs and loved this car. Sorry to see it go. But time moves on and I have kids in college and it's time to sacrifice for the kids. Maybe they'll pay me back when they get older. Not. ALSO HAS A REMOTE START!! |

Is the Jaguar XFR-S really worth $17k more than the XFR? [w/poll]
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Adding performance to a car is rarely cheap - whether you're looking to do it yourself or rely on the factory to do it for you. In the case of the new Jaguar XFR-S, the cost differential over an already-impressive (and somewhat expensive) XFR is a stout $16,800. Auto Express recently got a hold of both cars to see whether that price pays off on the track.
For that price, Jaguar gives the XFR-S an extra 40 horsepower and 41 pound-feet of torque - for a total of 550 hp and 502 lb-ft - to go with a stiffer suspension, beefed-up differential and, of course, meaner styling. We don't want to ruin the results of the AE video, but right off the bat, the host says that you can feel the extra power of the XFR-S, but that it's not a "night-and-day difference."
Scroll down to see what happens when two high-powered Jags go head-to-head on a track. And then be sure to let us know whether or not you think the added money is worth it for the XFR-S in the completely informal poll below.
Jaguar Land Rover gets to work on new university R&D center
Fri, Mar 20 2015Jaguar Land Rover has a raft of new products in the pipeline, from the new Defender to the next-generation XF sedan. But new product isn't the only thing the British automaker is investing in: it's also opening new facilities around the world, including what it's calling the National Automotive Innovation Centre back home in the UK. Based at the University of Warwick, the new $220-million R&D center is the result of a joint effort between JLR, its parent company Tata, the manufacturing arm of the university and the British government. The facility will bring together professionals from the automaker as well as its suppliers with academics to encourage, as the name suggests, innovation in the automotive sector. Its 355,000 square feet are earmarked to become the hub for Jaguar Land Rover's advanced research activities, including "workshops, laboratories, virtual engineering suites and advanced powertrain facilities, equipped to enable a full range of design, visualisation and prototyping activities." The cornerstore was just laid in a ceremony this week, but the facility isn't due to open until the Spring of 2017 when it will encompass some 1,000 employees, including 600 relocated by JLR to the new location from other sites in the UK. 2016 Jaguar F-Type R at Monticello | AutoblogVR
Tue, Sep 27 2016This week we indulged in a bit of fun. We took one of our favorite sports cars, the 2016 Jaguar F-Type to Monticello Motor Club north of New York. Senior Editor Greg Migliore selected the 550-horsepower R variant and pushed this Jag to the limit at one of North America's prettiest tracks. He reveled in the supercharged V8's power and sound as he embraced Monticello's curves and long straightaways. Meanwhile, Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski had a similar experience. Kind of. He lapped Monticello in the 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR and then went off-roading at a challenging course nearby. It's the best of both worlds. He gets to soak in the blown V8 – but also gets to splatter a little mud. Each week, new episodes will launch on the AutoblogVR App. We'll preview them here on Autoblog, but for the full immersive experience, head over to the app, which you can download for free from the App store and Google Play. Be sure to try it with a cardboard viewer, too! Jaguar Land Rover Driving Off-Road Vehicles Videos VR Original Video virtual reality 360video
