Welcome to a superb opportunity. You are viewing an outstanding condition, incredibly well maintained and exclusively Florida-kept and driven 2004 Jaguar XJ Vanden Plas Luxury Touring Sedan. This incredibly powerful, 300 horsepower V-8 performance sedan is extra-clean and without a doubt the one that you want to consider owning. Certainly the best color combination for this premium luxury sedan. Stunning Radiance Red exterior finish over supple Ivory leather interior with Signature Taupe piping, with elaborate interior wood trim. This locally-owned luxury sedan scream style and is truly an elegant color combination! We've had white one's and green one's, buy certainly neither of those get the comments "What a beautiful color", even from the casual passing stranger.

It has a super-aggressive appearance, and exciting performance to match. Great inspired, driveability comes from the naturally-aspirated 4.0 liter electronically fuel-injected V8 powerplant and silky-smooth automatic transmission. Together, this is one of the most enjoyable driving experiences you will have. This luxury performance sedan is an absolute pleasure to drive. Completely loaded with full power options, beefy aluminum alloy wheels, factory power sunroof, superb high-power audio system, keyless remote entry, factory security system and so much more. This Vanden Plas model is the top-of-the-line and it even has Heated seating, Alpine premium audio system, Parking Distance control, Power Rear Sunshade, electronic folding side chrome mirrors and so, so, so much more.

The rich Ivory leather interior is in excellent condition and this is without a doubt my favorite color combination for this world-class sedan.  This Jaguar XJ VDP is the proverbially Wolf in Sheep's clothing.  Everything works perfectly and properly, and this sedan was exclusively serviced at the Jaguar dealership. The original, sunny Florida mileage is much below average for the model year at only 105,000 original well cared for miles--and this sedan runs and drives like new. It looks and drives similar to a 40,000 mile well cared for sedan. It has been a Florida vehicle since new, and it certainly shows. All this beauty needs is a new home. Being a local Florida vehicle its entire life make a BIG difference! Clean, corrosion-free undercarriage, smooth, flat roads with no hills and potholes in this Sunny and Warm climate--your suspension will thank you for that, as will the transmission. All these things add up to a better vehicle.

No disappointments here. Extra-clean, professional up-keep and maintenance, incredibly powerful and a pleasure to drive. One step on the gas, and you will have a grin on your face from ear-to-ear. While still driving one of the safest and most elegant luxury sedans on the road today!

Jaguar's first-ever Super Bowl ad to feature F-Type Coupe

Sun, 10 Nov 2013

Patrons of this year's Los Angeles Auto Show will be able to get their first glimpse at the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe, but the new hardtop sports car will be shown off to an even greater audience in early February. No, we aren't talking about the Chicago Auto Show - we're referring to the Super Bowl. Jaguar will debut its first-ever Super Bowl ad during the second half of the big game on February 2, 2014, and the sleek new F-Type Coupe will be the star.
According to Jaguar, the ad campaign will pose the question, "Have you ever noticed how in Hollywood movies, all the villains are played by Brits?" And for all you social media mavens out there, Jaguar will launch a specific hashtag to go with this marketing: #GoodToBeBad.
British director Tom Hooper is responsible for the ad, which is being filmed in London. Americans will get their first glimpse at the campaign this weekend in the first spot, called Disruptor, but the big F-Type Coupe spot will not air until Super Bowl XLVIII in February.

Lightweight E-Type to show historic side of Jaguar Special Operations in Monterey

Mon, 11 Aug 2014

Jaguar has made a lot of great vehicles over the years, but as far as historians are concerned, it still very much lives in the shadow of the original E-Type, small as it was. In its image, Jaguar has made two generations of XK and the new F-Type, but what we have here is the most faithful continuation of the E-Type heritage yet.
Alongside the Range Rover Sport SVR and the F-Type Project 7 (making its US debut), Jaguar Land Rover and its new Special Operations division will roll into Pebble Beach this year with the continuation Lightweight E-Type. Of the 72,500 E-Types which Jaguar built between 1961 and 1975, only a dozen were Lightweight versions, and they remain the most coveted E-Types of all. It originally planned on building 18 examples, though, and five decades later, it's now committed to completing that original production run in faithful detail.
The Lightweight E-Type was based on the standard roadster and was homologated as such, just with some key upgrades to make it lighter and faster. The biggest change, of course, was the lightweight aluminum bodywork that cut 205 pounds off the curb weight. To replicate it, Jaguar took the last example (the only one made in 1964 after the original eleven were made in '63), scanned half its body surface, mirrored it to ensure symmetry and set about reproducing it with the same standard of materials available in the Sixties (and resisting the urge to go with more modern grades of aluminum). 75 percent of the 230 components are made in-house, with the largest stampings outsourced and built on machinery built to Jaguar's specifications off-site.

2022 Jaguar F-Pace SVR Road Test | Enjoy the hot-rod SUV while it lasts

Tue, Mar 15 2022

BIRMINGHAM, Mich. -- Jaguar has been steering away from sedans, which makes good business sense. With the demise of the XJ and XE, the company’s lineup is as taut as itÂ’s been in recent memory. ThatÂ’s OK, the F-Pace plays a lot of roles. ItÂ’s the most practical and best-selling Jaguar, and in SVR trim, itÂ’s the embodiment of the modern muscle crossover. In fact, it's a legit hot rod. This is our first chance behind the wheel of the SVR since it was updated for the 2021 model year along with the rest of the F-Pace lineup. In short: the powertrain is slightly torquier, the brakes and suspension are bolstered, the cabin gets JaguarÂ’s Pivi Pro infotainment, and the front end is tweaked with new headlights and body work. ItÂ’s subtle. Driving the F-Pace SVR is anything but. The product of JaguarÂ’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), the SVR is a series of visceral experiences, some of them raw and adrenaline-inducing, some of them surprisingly calm. In Sport mode the Jaguar shifts quicker to accelerate harder and the full-throated roar of the exhaust is on display. In Eco or Comfort modes, things are chiller, but I still usually cued up the active exhaust system, which can be switched off and on with a button near the gear shifter.  The supercharged 5.0-liter V8 is old-school, fierce and one of the reasons you buy this Jaguar. With 550 horsepower and 516 pound-feet, itÂ’s firmly in the upper class among performance-oriented SUVs, and the 3.8-second sprint to 60 mph is impressive for a compact crossover thatÂ’s on the larger size for the segment. While the V8 is a quickly disappearing throwback, Jaguar hasnÂ’t used it as prolifically as American or German luxury brands throughout its 100-year history — often skipping from six to 12 cylinders — depending on the car and the time period. Driving the F-Pace SVR with its supercharged eight cylinders is to experience the apogee of JaguarÂ’s 2010s pivot to V8 muscle, before the brand transitions to electric vehicles by the end of the decade. It's best to live in the present in the F-Pace SVR. On a wide-open Saturday morning, I dial up Sport Mode, crack the windows to let in the exhaust note and set out for a day trip to visit family on the other side of town. With the snow disappearing on this warm late winter morning, I make the most of a fleeting opportunity to push the F-Pace a bit, with quick launches and enthusiastic acceleration into open gaps on the expressway.
