A Wonderful example of a 1994 Jaguar XJS Convertible in remarkable condition with the very reliable 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine, not the troublesome 12 cylinder engine. It is a very nice  and striking color combination in Red with contrasting Tan leather interior and Tan top. The car gets thumbs up and starts conversations where ever it goes.

The paint is in beautiful condition  and is in absolutely beautiful condition hardly any door dings and minimal scratches. The Front bumper cover has 2 small cracks to the bottom of the bumper cover like many XJS but it is not that noticeable. The leather is in tan and is still very soft and supple with the only minimal wear on the drivers seat bolster and the  original headliner of the soft top is very clean but the soft top is showing small spots of wear from being stored with the top down but it is still in nice shape.Inside you get the wonderful aroma of wood and leather and the wood is very nice with no cracking and the carpets are also very clean. The trunk  is very clean and has the factory 6 disc cd changer, full size spare manuals and and tools and the boot cover .

Mechanically it runs and runs and drives perfectly with only 49k documented original miles the engine compartment is very nice and has no leaks.I just completed 2 six hour round trips without any problems and I loved it . There are no warning lights on and everything works including all gauges, heat and very cold A/C  that will freeze you with A/C just recharged last month and all windows, seats,  heated seats ,door locks, soft top and all electrics work as they should. The car will come with its original wheels not the chrome as they were showing age but tires are great and the car stops on a dime and is very quiet comfortable and quiet on the road.

This has always been stored indoors so it has never seen salt or rust and it has always been garaged and sparingly used. I know all of the history in the car and it will come with the original keys,books/manuals and some service history. I am the 2nd owner and it is part of my collection , but am having to downsize due to storage so some of my XJS must go and I would love this car to go to a great home for someone to enjoy and It has a clean title and carfax. This car is beautiful enough to pleasure or for show, as seen at the last show it was entered in this summer. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or want any more info on the car, I am more than happy to discuss the car .

2016 Jaguar XF First Drive [w/video]

Thu, Sep 3 2015

Jaguar has never had a problem with style or driving joy. Every generation of the British brand's vehicles – with excuses made and accepted in advance for S-Type and X-Type and other outliers – has offered compelling styling and great performance. New kid XF was no exception when it was introduced in 2007. The car's sheetmetal pointed the way forward for the fully up-to-date range we see now, and its confident engines and handling chops were on pace with the best Bimmers, Benzes, and Cadillacs. The first-generation XF made some hay for Jaguar, selling around 280,000 copies through 2014. But those annualized rates still represented a blip on the luxury midsize radar when viewed against the backdrop of the German Three's numbers. Part of that sales story has been down to the E-Classes and 5 Series of the world being consistently excellent, to be sure. But a lot of the blame can be found in Jaguar's historic weak spots. Grace and pace the brand had in spades, but consumer perception of quality and reliability just weren't there, pricing was typically near the top of the class, and the residual values of the cars were low (a combination of all three factors, most likely). Of course, Jag would love to sell a few more cars. But this time, instead of simply building a great-looking, great-driving new XF (which is absolutely the case), the brand is doing some clever non-engineering-based things to put more big cats in more garages than ever before. The tradeoff of very good ride quality is worth the minute amount of roll. After flying all they way to Spain – Pamplona and the Navarra Circuit, by way of Barcelona and a Range Rover adventure you'll hear about soon – I would be remiss not to tell you how the new XF goes down the road. Some 150 kilometers (93 miles) of motorway and challenging b-roads lie between the city with that annual livestock problem and the 2.44-mile, FIA approved racecourse. A route that led me to understand that this XF, in my case the 380-horsepower XF S, has gained more than it has lost in the generational changeover. The company is fully committed to aluminum for its midsizer, with the new car now using a body structure that's 75-percent built from the stuff. I'm told that means a body in white that weighs just over 600 pounds, and an overall weight savings of 11 percent. Body stiffness has been raised by 28 percent in the process.

Is the Jaguar XFR-S really worth $17k more than the XFR? [w/poll]

Wed, 22 Jan 2014

Adding performance to a car is rarely cheap - whether you're looking to do it yourself or rely on the factory to do it for you. In the case of the new Jaguar XFR-S, the cost differential over an already-impressive (and somewhat expensive) XFR is a stout $16,800. Auto Express recently got a hold of both cars to see whether that price pays off on the track.
For that price, Jaguar gives the XFR-S an extra 40 horsepower and 41 pound-feet of torque - for a total of 550 hp and 502 lb-ft - to go with a stiffer suspension, beefed-up differential and, of course, meaner styling. We don't want to ruin the results of the AE video, but right off the bat, the host says that you can feel the extra power of the XFR-S, but that it's not a "night-and-day difference."
Scroll down to see what happens when two high-powered Jags go head-to-head on a track. And then be sure to let us know whether or not you think the added money is worth it for the XFR-S in the completely informal poll below.

Jaguar SUV mule doing Ring testing in Evoque clothes

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Jaguar has moved its Range Rover Evoque-bodied tests of the production C-X17 Concept from icy streets to the legendary Nürburgring, as work continues on the brand's first SUV.
Really, there's not a great deal of new stuff here. Based on the number plates, this is a different vehicle from the one we saw back in March, which we originally identified as the upcoming replacement for the Land Rover Freelander/LR2. The details, though, appear largely the same. The biggest distinction we can see between the March tests and this are the US-spec headlights, which add amber reflectors at their sides. Based on these shots, it does seem as if the C-X17 should be a fairly poised road vehicle, as the engineers hustle it around the 'Ring.
Of course, as soon our spies can capture images of a production-bodied C-X17, we'll be sure to pass those on to you. Until then, take a look up top for images of the Range Rover-bodied Jaguar as it tests at Germany's Nürburgring. You can also scroll down for our March images for the C-X17 mules testing on public roads.
