Very clean and well maintain AWD 2003 Jaguar X Type 2.5 liter, title is clear and clean have in hand. Has 110,205 miles. This car is garage kept and alway maintenance care for. Everything works except the sun roof. The sun roof goes up and down but doesn't slide all the way, something in the rack is causing it not to slide. Pull headliner down and fix or replace rack. I can fix but would have to charge you. Breaks pads and rotors replaced 5 months ago. New Michelin tires only have 5,000 miles on them. Just did the oil/filter change. All fluids in car has been flush out and put new in as of last year includes: brake fluid, transmission fluid, differential fluid, transfer case fluid, power steering fluid, engine coolant. I fiberglass molded a place where you can slide a Ipad in and out use it for music, watching videos, or as a GPS; hooks up to the radio. If you don't like it I can reinstall the factory radio still works. The fiberglass mold is not permanent can remove.

CMC to produce limited run of Callum's Jaguar Mark 2 [w/video]

    Thu, 04 Sep 2014

We were a more than a little jealous when designer Ian Callum revealed his Jaguar Mark 2 restomod that he commissioned from Classic Motor Cars. It turns out that we weren't the only ones that dug it - the reaction was so great that CMC got Callum's permission to create a limited run of them for customers. Although, with prices quoted between £350,000 and £375,000 ($572,000 - $613,000), we doubt Ian needs to worry about seeing a copy of his creation pass him too soon.
"Within hours we had received calls from people all over the globe asking if they could buy one," said Peter Neumark, Chairman of CMC in the latest announcement. The reaction came as a surprise to Callum, who said he designed the car entirely to his own specifications and actually wasn't sure if people would like it.
Among Callum's many changes are new bumpers, wider front fenders with functional louvers and less chrome trim. Under the hood is a 4.3-liter six-cylinder fitted with two SU carbs putting out around 260 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. It should be a much better driver too, with a completely re-engineered independent rear suspension, adjustable dampers at all four corners, improved brakes and a new rack and pinion steering system designed by CMC with electric assist.

Can a Jaguar XKR-S be drifted while blindfolded?

    Thu, 27 Dec 2012

Bring together a 550-horsepower Jaguar XKR-S and a rain-soaked skidpad, and it's almost impossible to not end up in a sideways drift... accidental or on purpose. With that in mind, the gang over at Autocar got a hold of the monstrous XKR-S for the latest installment of "Will it Drift?," only they raised the stakes a little by attempting the feat with a blindfolded driver
We've driven the XKR-S a number of times here at Autoblog (including a First Drive, Review and Quick Spin), so we weren't at all surprised to learn that blind drifting in the car is possible. But what is remarkable is the ease at which it happened. This, of course, can be credited as much to the car as to the driver, Steve Sutcliffe. Check out the impressive video for yourself, which is posted after the jump.

Jaguar F-Type Coupe is here, will debut on stage in LA

    Tue, 05 Nov 2013

When Jaguar previewed its new sportscar two years ago with the C-X16 concept, it showed a coupe form. But when the car hit production as the F-Type, it rolled out in roadster form only. Not that we're complaining, but we all knew it wouldn't be long before Coventry revealed the production coupe, and that's just what it's doing at this month's LA Auto Show.
Jaguar hasn't given us much to go on yet - just a single shot of the vehicle from above and nothing in the way of technical details - but we all know the drill. The F-Type Coupe will essentially be the same as the existing roadster, only with a fixed roof - with a large glass panel, mind you, to let plenty of light in and keep the cabin from feeling markedly more claustrophobic than the open-top version.
That ought to make it a little lighter (though not much) and a little stiffer, but otherwise we can expect more or less the same specs as the convertible. We'll have to wait until the evening of November 19 to know for sure, though, so watch this space for more.
