You are bidding on my 2002 Jaguar X type
2.5 Liter puuuuurs like a kitten Good life left on the tires Just detailed Set of books and records Two Remote Keys Clean car inside and out Two issues to make note of: 1. The gas cap door cracked and when repaired was not repainted, there is a hairline crack 2. I had the vehicle parked by the beach for a month while out of town and the brake rotors accumulated rust. The ABS light came on, my mechanic said the rust got on the sensor, there is plenty of life left in the brakes. This car has been well cared for and is ready to go to a new happy home. Payment Policy: As you can see I have a spectacular sellers rating however I have met some less than enthusiastic buyers. So a $1,000 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close and the balance is due within 72 hours of auction close or when you or your shipper pick the vehicle up. Should your wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, life partner, kids, grandparents whom support you during the hard times, find out you bid and won without there permission and you sent a deposit... You will also be explaining my clearly explained intentions of spending your deposit on wine women and song to get past my ever growing lack of faith in humanity that people do what they say they will. I have described not only the good (And this car is great) but the bad (Right down to a crack in the fuel door) of this wonderful car in an effort to paint a picture of what you are winning. That being said... happy bidding and I hope you win! |

Jaguar details new Ingenium four-cylinder engines [w/video]
Mon, 29 Sep 2014When Jaguar lifted the veil on its new XE sports sedan earlier this month, it only revealed details on one engine - that being the 3.0-liter supercharged V6 in the flagship XE S. But we already knew that the British automaker's new entry-level model will offer many other powertrain options, and now it has revealed a little more.
Jaguar has been developing a new family of 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines it calls Ingenium, which will be offered in a wide array of configurations and specifications. In advance of its debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, the Leaping Cat marque has announced the specifications of the two diesel versions. The first will offer 161 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque and some of the best environmental credentials on the market. There will also be a more potent version with 177 hp and 317 lb-ft, which Jaguar says is "one of the highest torque outputs in the class." Either way, both versions feature variable exhaust valve timing, cooled low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation and selective catalytic reduction technologies to help meet the stringent Euro 6 standards.
That's all well and fine, but considering that Jaguar doesn't offer diesels in North America, the chances of these oil-burners making their way Stateside seem slim. But if you watch the video below, you'll also find basic specs on their gasoline counterparts as well. Like the diesels, they're turbocharged and displace 2.0 liters, but in petrol form, they offer 197 hp and 206 lb-ft of torque, or 236 hp and 250 lb-ft.
Here's the 2021 Jaguar F-Type reveal with Hot Wheels
Mon, Dec 2 2019UPDATE: The car has been shown in full. You can check out all the details in our reveal post here. The collaboration with Hot Wheels sprouted the reveal video that you can find above. Jaguar and Hot Wheels built a 761-foot long course with 44 corners in the Jaguar design studio. You can see the F-Type Hot Wheels cars go around it before meeting the life-size F-Type at the end. There’s a new Jaguar F-Type coming today, and the show is bound to be worth watching. Jaguar is revealing the sports car at 3 p.m. ET, and itÂ’s being done in partnership with Hot Wheels. We all know how dramatic and wild Jaguar reveals can be from its previous stunts. With Hot Wheels as a partner, this F-Type presentation is bound to be quite the show. If youÂ’d like to see the latest teaser from Jaguar for the F-Type, check out our post here. The Hot Wheels loop-do-loop stunt is teased out, and we get a short glimpse of the car itself. Spy shots have made it out to be mightily similar to the current generation of F-Type from a design standpoint, but thereÂ’s nothing wrong with that. Standby for a reveal soon. Jaguar F-Type Convertible 3 View 28 Photos
Jay Leno gets reacquainted with the Bertone Pirana
Mon, Mar 16 2015Jay Leno gets all manner of vehicles stopping by his garage – some more rare than others, but this one is an entirely unique creation unearthed from another time. It's the Pirana, a one-off commissioned by a British newspaper in the late Sixties that we actually found listed on eBay a few years back. It was built atop a Jaguar E-Type, but with custom bodywork designed by Marcello Gandini and crafted by Bertone. The result looks like a Maserati Ghibli or Lamborghini Espada of the same era, but actually came out just before either, previewing the Italian exotics that would follow from Gandini's pen and Bertone's carrozzeria. The Pirana is now undergoing a complete restoration to bring it back to the original condition in which it appeared at the 1967 London Motor Show, but before the process is complete, Leno shows us around and takes it out on the open road to relive memories of a relic from a bygone era.
