Jaguar 1966 3.8 Liter, Mark Ii, Factory R.h. Drive, 4 Spd. Manual With O/d on 2040-cars

You can't get it any better than this. This 1966 3.8 liter Mark II has the manual synchromesh gearbox with electronic overdrive, wire wheels, factory fog lamps, power loc differential and power steering. This is the top of the line of the Mark II's and the best year due to the synchromesh gearbox coming through from Jaguar. The car has an excellent dry body and no signs of an accident. We have looked all over the car and can not find any rust, nor is there signs that a panel may have been changed. The car starts up nicely, has good oil pressure and runs smoothly through the gears. The brakes work as they should, there is no pulling to one side. The overdrive works nicely and the exhaust has no leaks. The car can be used right away. The only thing that may need replacing are the two rear tires. The leather is in super condition, it is soft and supple, not dried out and has no cracks or tears. The carpets are in great condition. The only gauge or instrument that is not working is the tachometer. The car was originally dispatched from South Africa, where it was assembled in Jaguar's South African plant. It is a true right hand drive car from this factory. The car was in South Africa until 2003, when the most recent owner brought it to the state of Virgina in the U.S. It has been in Virginia up until we bought it now. This car is a lot of value for the money. It runs and drives and you can use right away. We ship worldwide. We can assist with obtaining a shipper. Transport to the New Jersey port is $400.00. If you have any questions call Ray at 001-617-838-3728 or Dan at 001-781-630-0185.

Jaguar's F-Sleigh replaces reindeer with jet power
Fri, Dec 18 2015'Tis the season for automakers to demonstrate how they would design Santa's famous (if fictitious) sleigh. The F-Sleigh concept is based on the F-Type convertible, but this one has skids instead of wheels, a pair of jet engines in place of the supercharged V8, the requisite red nose (embossed with the Growler emblem), and of course plenty of room for gifts. This is the second time we've seen a modern Jaguar design incorporating small turbines, and takes the idea of a 550-horse open sleigh to new heights. Jaguar rendered the design in an ice sculpture and is displaying it this holiday season at the London Edition hotel in the British capital. Joining the F-Sleigh on display are some of the more tempting items from the latest Jaguar and Land Rover merchandise collections, including a 1:8 scale model of a 1957 XKSS and a Defender pedal car. But it's the centerpiece that caught our attention, looking at least as cool as some of the designs we've seen from the likes of Ford, Honda, Lexus, Bentley, or even Jaguar Land Rover's previous concepts. Now if you'll excuse us, we have to rush down to the fireplace to replace the milk and cookies with a tanker full of jet fuel. A special ice-sculpture of a Christmas-inspired Jaguar design was exclusively revealed at the London Edition hotel to celebrate the merchandise and luxury goods launch. Codenamed 'F-SLEIGH', the Jaguar Christmas sleigh takes inspiration from the Jaguar F-TYPE convertible, but with skates in place of wheels, a generous open luggage compartment for gifts and jet power to generate Jaguar's renowned supercharged performance through the night sky. A Growler-embossed red nose completes the F-SLEIGH's Christmas theme.
James Bond Spectre villain to drive never-was Jaguar C-X75 supercar
Tue, Dec 16 2014James Bond is used to being outgunned. Often working alone, 007 has developed a knack for taking out major criminal syndicates and terrorists despite this routine disadvantage. But in his latest film, Spectre, we suspect Mr. Bond will have met his match in at least one regard – the car being driven by his nemesis, Franz Oberhauser, played by Christoph Waltz. For the 24th Bond flick, Spectre, the chief baddie will reportedly be driving the oft-fancied Jaguar C-X75 Concept car, which will star opposite of the hero's new Aston Martin DB10. As you'll recall, Jaguar flirted with actually producing the C-X75 before calling it off just over two years ago. According to Autocar, which spoke to people involved in the film's production, Herr Oberhauser's C-X75 will be powered by Jaguar Land Rover's popular 5.0-liter, supercharged V8, rather than its original complex hybrid powertrain (which relied on four electric motors recharged by a pair of diesel-fueled micro gas turbines). Jaguar would not confirm its role in the upcoming film, although Autocar has pieced together a few powerful signs that the company will be donating the services of its concept to the new flick. First, supplying the villain's car for the latest Bond film fits in nicely with the company's "Good to be Bad" campaign, despite the fact that the villain, in this instance, is Austrian, rather than British. Moreover, Autocar points to Aston's use of the tagline "It's good to be Bond" since the reveal of the new DB10, as an indication that the Jag will be opposing its former corporate cousin in Spectre.
Watch this Jaguar XJ220 perform a fiery burnout
Thu, 19 Jun 2014We like to think that at least some supercar owners drive their exotic machinery the way they're meant to be driven. The reality is more likely that most pamper them in climate-controlled environments and rarely actually drive them. But Tax The Rich seems dedicated to balancing them all out by hooning the heck out of some of the most expensive and desirable supercars the world has ever seen - whether it's a Ferrari Enzo rallying along dirt roads or a pair of F50s playing tug of war.
The YouTube channel has even played around with a Jaguar XJ220 before, but not quite like this. In its latest clip, Tax The Rich goes a step or two beyond the usual smokey burnout, lighting up the rear wheels of a super-rare Jag, all for our viewing pleasure. And take pleasure we do in the video below, even as part of us cringes at the thought of potentially reducing one of the fastest Jaguars in history to a smoldering hulk.
