Classic 1978 International Scout II 4x4 with roll bar, 304 engine and 4 speed manual.

This vintage SUV is my daily commuter that hasn't let me down yet. I drive it on the interstate but try to keep it under 70. To go with an aftermarket full soft top, I had custom soft tops and a bed cover made for it so I could go full cab, half cab, bikini top or topless depending on my mood. The edges of the bikini top are showing some age. Someone put in a mild lift kit before I owned it, and the undercarriage is pretty much rust free. The body has some minor to moderate rust with the door sills having major rust (pictured).

It has a fold-down rear seat and a Tuffy center security console. It has speakers in the doors and by the back seat. The tires have less than 10,000 miles on them. It does not have ac. I don't think one would even be very effective.

I'm selling it because I want to get a vintage truck with an automatic that my wife can drive if need be.

Other than that it has your typical gremlins in a 25-year-old car. The gas gauge light and turn signal light in the dash don't come on (outside turn signals work). Heater does not blow hard.
