This is a bone stock, factory original 1972 scout ii. I purchased this from a guy who lives in Nebraska and it has been in his family since and still has the Nebraska dealers emblem from being bought new in Nebraska. I have only owned this truck for about 6 months and purchased it because I wanted to own an all stock scout to go along with my 78' lifted aftermarket scout ii. I am selling it now because two full size scouts take up to much parking and space. I am now on the hunt for the smaller all stock 80/800. Now to the all important rust question...I would say this scout is 80% rust free. Cab mounts are shot and the usual lower section of rear quarters. The floors, doors, rockers (inner&outer) are solid and the wheel wells are not rusted through. This is one of the best starts to a restoration I have seen and in much better condition than my 78' I am currently restoring.
