LOWER RESERVE !!!Scout is relisted due to an ebayer canceling his bid against ebay rules before it ended.  Up for sale is a rare 1965 Scout 80 Red Carpet Special. I bought this Scout from someone that had started restoring it. I completed the restoration in 2006. It is in good shape. The engine, transmission, and transfer case were all overhauled during this restoration. It has the 152 engine, original Dana 27 axles, and T-90 transmission. It has chrome bumpers from a 1967 Bronco. The body was removed and soda blasted, primed, and painted. The frame was sandblasted, primed, and painted. NOS quarter panels were installed on both the left and right side. Both Front fenders were replaced with Kentrol Fiberglass fenders. The paint is good, but not perfect.  The paint does have flaws/blemishes.  To make it a show Scout it would need to be repainted. It was not painted by a body shop.  Body has some small dings. The Scout has been kept in a garage since the restoration. It has about 1500 miles on it since it was restored. All new interior, tires, and brake lines were used during the restoration. The interior was sprayed with SEM tintable liner (white) on floor and roof. I hate to sell it, but I have way too many toys. This Scout is not perfect, but is in good shape. It is the buyer's responsibility for shipping charges and making the arrangements for shipping. The Scout is sold AS IS with no warranty. Since the Scout has not been driven much, I would recommend it be trailered. It has a clear MS title.
