Here you have a 1994 Infiniti Q-45, Please read this detailed description as thoroughly as possible. I am a very honest individual and I am going to describe this vehicle to the best of my ability. I bought this car in 2005 from the original owner, who bought it as a dealer demo from his son who operated a Infiniti dealership in California, It was ALWAYS maintained at the Infiniti dealership where he lived. I bought the car with 74,xxx miles. My wife put about another 70,xxx miles and during this time the car was maintained by my personal friend who was the leading Nissan tech at the local Nissan dealership. All oil changes, belts, brakes, everything done by him. At the time he and his wife both drove Q-45's, and he maintained our cars very well. Fast forward, car provides years of flawless and high quality transportation until about 8 months ago it starts having a problem above 1800 RPM's. Car starts fine, drives fine, all windows work, sunroof works, has decent tires, all lights work, air conditioning...all of it. Car falls on it's face when reaches above 1800 RPM's. My Nissan mechanic buddies (no longer a mechanic because of hand injury) professional opinion is car needs new Spark Plugs. Catalytic Converters are not stopped up, Fuel Pressure is fine, but car has needed valve cover gaskets for a couple years. He thinks oil pooling down around plugs (deep down in there if your reading this you know what I am talking about) has caused a problem. So, PROBABLY new plugs, valve cover gaskets, maybe plug wires and you are PROBABLY back on the road. I have moved the wife on to a little truck that she needs, this car is expendable. POSITIVES: Always Dealer maintained, oil changed every 3k miles, Tranny flushed and new fluid at 130,000k. Car operates PERFECTLY except for acceleration problem. Car will drive about 65 down highway in overdrive, could probably get you home but that is your risk! California/Texas car so rust free, body in overall good shape, few dings and dents here and there but nothing major. All windows, door locks, Sunroof operate perfectly. Car shifts fine. Negatives: Car has acceleration issues, as stated. Front seats trashed, carpet dirty, little clearcoat peeling, etc.
If your looking for a powertrain for your car, look no further. This engine and tranny are in superb shape. Oil is clean, tranny fluid nice and bright. If this car would run like it is supposed to I would not hesitate to drive anywhere, anytime. No knocking, rattling, or mechanical problems other that what has been explained here in detail. Thanks for looking and good luck.
P.S. Vehicle has no battery. I will be happy to jump start and help load for buyer.

Infiniti explored V8, diesel, hybrid power for Q50 Eau Rouge
Fri, 14 Mar 2014
Infiniti boss Johan de Nysschen "insists" the car be put into production.
Over the past few years, rumors have swirled about an Infiniti-badged, four-door version of the Nissan GT-R. Makes sense to us - Infiniti could certainly use a performance halo, and the seemingly forgotten IPL initiative hasn't exactly bore any interesting fruit. Enter the Q50 Eau Rouge, which recently debuted for a second time at the Geneva Motor Show packed with the 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged heart of Godzilla itself.
Genesis G70 vs sport sedan rivals: How it compares on paper
Fri, Sep 15 2017We got our first look at the Genesis G70 sport sedan today. We think it looks good, with enough ties to its fellow Genesises (Geneses?) to further establish the brand and just enough distinction to help it stand out from the crowd. But ah yes, the crowd. Although Genesis didn't release the G70's full spec sheet, it revealed just enough for us to start sizing it up to its future competition. There are certainly others with which to compare (Lexus IS, Cadillac ATS, Alfa Romeo Giulia, Jaguar XE just to name a few), but we decided to take a look at the best sellers and most competitive luxury sport sedans. (And hey, if you like this, we can always do a follow up) So, here we have the Genesis G70 vs BMW 3 Series vs Audi A4 / S4 vs Mercedes-Benz C-Class vs Infiniti Q50. Nothing like a good chart to dig your teeth into on a Friday. Note that we only compared those models that line up with the G70. So, we left out the BMW 320i and Audi A4 Ultra entry level models as well as the Q50 3.0t mid-grade model that's considerably cheaper than the German performance upgrade models we listed. All 0-60 figures are rough estimates based on several sources, models/drivetrains and OEM figures. 2021 Infiniti QX80 gets simultaneously more and less expensive
Fri, Sep 4 2020Infiniti has released pricing for the 2021 QX80, and the brand's range-topping SUV sails into the new model year with revisions to its trim lineup and minor equipment changes. The starting price of the QX80 rises, but the asking price for the fanciest version is lower for 2021. The entry-level QX80 is again the Luxe, and in rear-wheel-drive form, it starts at $70,445 (with $1,395 destination) or $73,545 with all-wheel drive. Both figures represent an increase of $2,300 over 2020. A new middle-level trim is the Premium Select, and it steps in for last year's Edition 30 model, featuring that version's dark-chrome exterior accents and 22-inch wheels. Prices for the QX80 Premium Select are $74,745 (RWD) and $77,845 (AWD), which are $3,100 more than last year. For those with a hankering for the very finest of QX80s, however, the news is better. In place of last year's Limited, the new range-topper is the Sensory, which includes Infiniti's Hydraulic Body Motion Control System. The Sensory is $81,595 with rear-wheel drive and $84,695 with AWD. And while that's not cheap, it's some $8,000 less than what Infiniti was asking for the 2020 Limited. The big tech news for 2021 is the Infiniti's rear camera mirror has higher resolution and a larger viewing surface. Previously standard on the top trim, it's now included on all models. Last year saw the arrival of larger display screens in the dash and the instrument cluster. No changes are on hand in the engine room, where the QX80 continues to be motivated by Nissan's 5.6-liter V8 that makes 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, dispatched by a 7-speed automatic transmission. The 2021 Infiniti QX80 is on sale now. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
