Up for sale is my 2007 G35s Sedan. 6spd manual. RWD. This car had been babied ever since I took possession around 30,000 miles. THIS CAR TURNS HEADS EVERYWHERE IT GOES. IT IS ONE OF A KIND. I love this car but unfortunately I have to make room for other things so it has to go. First off let me explain everything that I've done to the car since I took possession:

Exterior:
Custom painted headlights in Black with LED strips inside of the Headlights.
Painted the Grill Red with the Black Infiniti emblem for a one-off look.
Front lip put on and painted for aggressive appearance. Obviously this has some rock chips and scrapes from the car being lowered (Removable).
Upgraded HID bulbs to 8000K
Carbon Fiber 3M wrap overlay on Chrome Trim all throughout exterior (Removable).
Painted rear bumper with PlastiDip (Removable) for diffuser look.
Rear Window Spoiler painted Black. (Removable)
Rear Tint overlays for the taillights (Removable)
20" TSW Wheels in Black with Falken 452's Staggered. (New Tires Needed). Tire Pressure Sensors installed. Factory rims included with sale NO TIRES!!!.
Car is lowered on Eibach springs.
Eibach Rear Camber kit is also installed.
Emblems removed for cleaner appearance.
Engine:
Stillen Intake.
Upgraded Battery for upgraded system.
Interior:
Windshield has a 50% tint on it. Although it may be lighter now due to the sun taking a toll on it.
Passport 8500 radar detector is being sold with the car.
Car does come with AUX input for iPod and video viewing. I also installed an iPod cable that works off the head unit which I rarely use.
System:
Upgraded interior speakers playing off of the Factory Bose Amp.
10" RE Audio in a custom Sub enclosure (Shown in pic) will remain with the car but the amps are NOT included with the sale. I've had the amps for years and cannot let them go.
10 Farad Capacitor installed in the rear center armrest.

Car runs and drive great with no clutch slippage. Brakes need to be serviced soon and tires on TSW wheels should be replaced soon. Car comes with 2 Key fobs and original manuals for the vehicle. The trunk decklid button never worked since I had the car so I always used the Keyfob to open the trunk or the opener on the inside of the car. I believe the switch needs to be replaced. Autocheck on the vehicle shows No Accidents on the vehicle but shows Frame damage which doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I just know that when I got it the guy said the drivers door and rear left door was painted according to my mechanic but whoever did the work did a great job because it doesn't show any signs of any damage to the average eye, Plus the vehicle doesn't drive sideways and has never given me any problems whatsoever.

Please Bid with confidence and know that your are getting an awesome car with bonus items. Car is being sold AS-IS and no refunds or returns will be issued. Please feel free to ask any questions that you have on the vehicle and don't assume anything. I will be taking a $300 deposit on the vehicle through Paypal and the balance should be paid within 5 days from auction closing. Please secure financing before you bid on this Vehicle. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY!!. PLEASE NO OFFERS FOR TRADES AS THIS IS NOT CRAIGSLIST...

GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING.

MotorWeek revisits 1990 Infiniti Q45

Sat, Aug 8 2015

With the one-two punch of the Lexus LS 400 and Infiniti Q45 in the early '90s, Japanese automakers started taking the fight directly to the established V8-powered German flagships on American roads. Here, we get MotorWeek's take on the latter and probably lesser known of those luxury sedans. While not so impressive today, the Q45's 4.5-liter V8 with 278 horsepower and 292 pound-feet of torque was pretty good by the contemporary standards. The big sedan was also offered with an optional all-wheel steering system that made the model quite a capable handler. The rear end even stepped out a just little during MotorWeek's slalom. Unfortunately, styling is very polarizing with these early sedans. Where the early LS looks planted with its big, chunky lines on the outside, the Infiniti is a bit more delicate. The design just doesn't scream about being a flagship sedan. The interior doesn't help sell the car as the top of luxury, either. While MotorWeek likes some of the amenities inside, there are complains about the reused switches from the Nissan Maxima and the extensive use of plastic, rather than wood. With Infiniti now having its sights on the global premium market and soon entering the compact segment, it's fascinating to see the very roots of the brand.

Infiniti Q50 steer-by-wire system took 10 years to develop [w/video]

Tue, 03 Dec 2013

Infiniti's Direct Adaptive Steering (DAS) is quite a novelty - the system employs no physical connection between the steering wheel and the front wheels under normal circumstances and instead relies on a computer, clutch and steering-angle actuator to guide vehicles down the road with input from the driver.
In our First Drive review of a 2014 Infiniti Q50 equipped with the system, we weren't overly impressed by the artificial feedback. But we can't help but be impressed with how long Infiniti spent on its development: a full 10 years, according to Autoline Daily in the video report below. A staggering 70 percent of the research and development time spent on DAS was devoted to getting the steering feel right, and unfortunately, our first impression suggests their results still leave something to be desired, as we found it lacked the sporty feeling a sport sedan should have.
The weight of DAS is comparable to that of a conventional steering system due to its complexity. For example, three ECUs are used in the first-generation DAS system to ensure there's never a loss of steering, but Infiniti is refining the technology and is working to simplify it to reduce weight. One day Infiniti hopes that only one ECU will be needed to control DAS. We just hope it doesn't take the Japanese automaker another ten years to get the steering feel right.

2015 Mexican Grand Prix is a lot like old times

Mon, Nov 2 2015

The last time Formula One visited Mexico, in 1992, 26 cars powered by eight engine manufacturers (counting Honda and Mugen-Honda separately) lined up on the grid; it would have been nine engine makers but the Brabham-Judd cars failed to qualify. In 1992 Lewis Hamilton was seven years old, Sebastian Vettel was five, Max Verstappen was still five years away from being born. Two of the current Sky Sports F1 commentary team, Martin Brundle and Johnny Herbert, were drivers. The starting three were Nigel Mansell on pole – 39 years old, this the year he'd win his only World Championship – and Riccardo Patrese both driving Williams-Renault cars, followed by Michael Schumacher in a Benetton-Ford. Only 13 of the 26 starters would finish. The circuit is has been reworked to today's safer standards, the track surface is brand new and slippery, but the atmosphere and packed grandstands haven't changed. Nico Rosberg was another point of consistency, scoring pole position for the fourth race in a row to beat his now-World-Champion teammate Hamilton by almost two-tenths of a second. The last time Rosberg turned pole position into a victory? The Spanish Grand Prix back in May. Vettel locked up third for Ferrari, followed by the Infiniti Red Bull Racing duo of Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo. Williams went two-up as well, Valtteri Bottas in sixth ahead of Felipe Massa in seventh. Max Verstappen turned in a great late lap to reserve eighth place, Sergio Perez did all he could in front of his home crowd to get ninth, teammate Nico Hulkenberg the caboose in the top ten. In that 1992 race the first three on the grid finished the race in the same order after Mansell dominated, and it was almost the same in 2015. If Rosberg had driven the whole season like he drove today the Driver's World Championship would still be up for grabs. He got a great start and held his line through the first corner, coming out ahead of Hamilton through the initial kinks, pulling away as soon as he got to the straight. Hamilton was never more than a few seconds behind, but every time the Brit inched closer the German found a few more tenths to keep his distance. The field got bunched up when the Safety Car came out on Lap 53 after Vettel spun and got stuck in the barriers, but Rosberg handled the restart perfectly. Both drivers made small mistakes in the last few laps while driving on the edge, but Rosberg earned a strong victory, crossing the line two seconds ahead of his teammate.
