Private Owner now selling a 2009 Infiniti FX-35 Crossover SUV, in fantastic condition, well maintained, CarFax certified, Infiniti Pre-Owned certified purchased at Grubbs Infiniti of Dallas. This sporty SUV performs like a car but has the room of a smaller SUV, 3.5L V-6 Engine with a 7-Speed Automatic transmission equipped with paddle shifters on the steering wheel for manual transmission shifting.
Factory equipment includes: PREMIUM PACKAGE, HEATED & COOLED POWER LEATHER SEATS WITH MEMORY, BLUETOOTH HANDSFREE, BOSE PREMIUM AUDIO SYSTEM/AUX AUDIO VIDEO INPUT/CHARGING, KEYLESS PUSHBUTTON START, PROXIMITY KEYLESS ENTRY/EXIT, DUAL ZONE AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL, POWER GLASS MOONROOF, STEERING WHEEL MOUNTED PADDLE SHIFTERS/AUDIO/CRUISE CONTROL/PHONE BUTTONS, FACTORY CARGO ORGANIZER & PROTECTOR, 20" ALLOY WHEELS, XENON HID HEADLIGHTS, SPLASH GUARDS, TINTED WINDOWS, 2 MASTER KEYS.
Please note that this Infiniti is still covered under the manufacturer's powertrain warranty until May 2015 or 70k miles!
The interior is spotless with absolutely no stains, or leather defects and still smells new. Single owner, no family use nor pets, non-smoker. Back seats have been occupied only a few times. Black floor mats throughout added to richen the contrast of the beige and carbon fiber/chrome trims. Exterior color is known as Umbria Twilight by Infiniti, which has a 3-D sparkle dimension to it, and will appear to change tones in and out of sunlight.
Mileage at 47,300. Average of 11,800 per year (AAA National average 15,000 per year). All conservative driving, no hard usage. No accidents, major or minor, no body panel replacements or paint work. There is a hairline scratch on the drivers door, very hard to notice but I want to disclose that upfront. You will not even be able to find it in the attached pictures.
It is truly a gorgeous car and I am only parting with it because I'm moving to a large downtown city and will not require a car at all. You will love the sporty handling of this car and it's excellent acceleration, yet still big enough to enjoy cargo space and loading. Priced to sell, comparable to BlueBook value, but you will be hard-pressed to find this model in this condition with mileage as low as it is for a 2009.

2020 Infiniti QX50 Luggage Test | Not infinity, but enough
Mon, May 11 2020The 2020 Infiniti QX50 is a comfortable five-seat luxury crossover that competes with the Audi Q5, Acura RDX, Volvo XC60, Lexus NX and others. If you’re interested in a QX50, itÂ’s probably got something to do with its impressive, technologically advanced VC-Turbo variable compression engine. It also has sumptuous swales of bodywork, a long list of driver-assist and safety features, and a solidly luxurious interior with a two-screen infotainment setup. The window sticker for the QX50 we drove recently in Essential trim says the seats were leatherette; if true, itÂ’s the most buttery fake leather out there. Still, the engineÂ’s the star. If performance is your only consideration, you can also get the VC-Turbo in the Nissan Altima sedan weighing 400 to 500-plus pounds less and at an MSRP starting $7,500 lower, a price spread that quickly expands as you option up the QX50. But if you want the QX50, itÂ’s probably because itÂ’s a crossover. You want to haul stuff. Which brings us to: luggage test. The QX50 has a cargo capacity of 31.1-31.4 cubic feet behind its raised back seat, which expands to 65.1 cubic feet with the rear seats down. That's more than most in its class, and the QX50Â’s cargo hold certainly looks big and usable enough. To test it, I had six roller suitcases at my disposal. Three would need to be checked at the airport, and one of those is particularly mondo (29x19x11, 26x17x10, 25x16x10). Three others were small enough to carry on (24x14x10, 23x14x11, 22x14x9). Several bags have four wheels that protrude and were counted in the dimensions. I lacked access to RiswickÂ’s wifeÂ’s fancy bag. An asterisk to all our luggage tests: Our crack team of test suitcases is empty. I know someone who can seriously overstuff a soft-sided bag, so depending on how you pack, your results may vary. The QX50 didn't arrive with a cargo cover, so that made things easier. My first stab at loading all those bags seemed promising — five out of six bags fit. Two of the big boys on edge, three carry-ons standing up. That would be one bag for every occupant, but hey, we can do better. Standing them all up was the easy solution. This fits all six bags, and I'm certain they wouldn't fly forward in a hard stop. But the driver's rear view is impeded. I'd be annoyed to look back at this throughout a long trip. That biggest bag is the biggest offender, so can we just lay that one down? Sure, but we're back to just five bags fitting.
Nissan built a Skyline that you can almost live in
Sun, Mar 26 2023The Infiniti Q50 is pretty long in the tooth, but parent company Nissan is still trying to keep things interesting. In Japan it's sold as the Nissan Skyline, and a new concept based on the luxury sedan converts it into a space you could actually live in. The cumbersomely named Nissan Skyline Contemporary Lifestyle Vehicle Concept adds a slew of convenience features that you should never use while driving. When parked, however, they turn your car into a little living room. For example, there's a little smartphone holder that folds out from the steering wheel so you can prop your screen up and watch a movie. If that's too small a viewing surface for you, the center infotainment touchscreen can be removed from its dashboard perch and used as a tablet. And if that's still too small for you, there's a screen mounted in the headliner above the rear seats. How do you watch a screen in that location? Glad you asked. The front seats, headrests, rear bench and passthrough to the trunk all lay flat in one uniform surface sleeping area. When lying down, the screen will be right above your head. And should you get cold, the driver's door panel pops open to reveal a blanket while the cupholder has a heating element to keep a beverage warm. On the flip side, should you get hot, a button on the inside B-pillar activates the air conditioning so you don't even have to sit up to access the climate control. While awake, you can avail yourself of multiple table surfaces located around the cabin. One folds out from the center console like on a business class airplane seat. A detachable sun visor also turns into a table. Then get a little work done by plugging in to either the 100-volt outlet in the passenger side mirror or an on-board portable battery. Obviously you wouldn't want to get your nice jacket wrinkled as you lounge in the car, so the grab handle above the door expands into a hanger wide enough to keep your coat uncreased. Other clever storage options include an umbrella compartment in the door sill, a bin located in the headrest, and a hands-free kick-activated locker below the rear bumper where a diffuser would reside. Perhaps most superfluous of all is a trash receptacle located in the driver's side mirror. You'd still have to empty it when full, but at least smelly garbage would be outside the car. Oh yeah, there's one final viewing surface, the largest of them all.
US buyers show little interest in big hybrids
Sat, May 10 2014The idea of producing large, luxury-vehicle hybrids is turning into a "what were they thinking?" exercise in futility, USA Today reports. General Motors is discontinuing hybrid versions of the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon SUVs, while Mercedes-Benz and Toyota's Lexus division are doing the same with their S-Class hybrid and LS hybrid sedans, respectively. The culprit? Big price increases for fuel economy improvements that border on the unimpressive. Granted, the Escalade hybrid gets 31 percent better fuel economy than the standard version, but that still maps out to a combined fuel-efficiency rating of just 21 miles per gallon. That can be seen as a worthwhile increase, if it didn't cost over $8,000 extra. The 2014 Escalade Hybrid, for example, starts at $74,425 while the non-hybrid can be had for $66,295. Meanwhile, the Lexus full-size hybrid costs $6,000 more than the regular version but only gets 1-2 mpg better combined fuel economy. The result of all these high costs? Low sales. Through April, GM sold 82 of its hybrid SUVs and pickups, down from 541 a year earlier. And the LS hybrid sales were in single-digit territory for April. That isn't stopping Lexus from promoting its hybrids as the right solution (with the wrong facts), though. There are still automakers giving big hybrid vehicles a shot, though. Nissan's Infiniti division is selling a hybrid version of its QX60 and says an impressive 10 percent of QX60 buyers choose the hybrid, which costs just $3,000 more. Looks like money talks.
