See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"Used car, Clear title, minor/almost unnoticeable dent on side (see picture), driver power seat forward-backward control not working well, other seat controls work and I've been driving it like that, hood stand not holding well (you may have to support with hand), engine clean and drives well, inside and outside clean, all power options and luxury features work. $500 deposit within 24 hrs of auction close, balance to be paid in cash/money order (to be cleared on spot)within 7 days of auction close, no shipping, buyer is responsible for pick up."

No reserve price. This great car will be sold to the highest bidder! Overall good condition, clean inside out, clean engine, runs well, very good AC-hot/cold, tires (60% or more), leather, extra tire, general tears and dings of a used car (see pictures), highly loaded with features including climate control, keyless entry and remote, cruise, power doors, windows, locks, roof, in-steering audio and mode control, rear mirror compass, temperature display, very powerful 3.5L V6 engine, good brakes and light, alloy wheels, 6 disc changer and powerful boss sound system. I have a brand new unused hydraulic car jack to go with the car (see picture). You also get a brand new unused fully programmed extra remote. The original owner's manual is included. This is an elegant car and Nissan/Infiniti have been very generous with adding luxury features into this car. The forward-backward power seat control does not work well but it clicks, which means it may just need an electrical connection. All other power movements on the seat work fine so I have been driving it like that since I bought it. Also, the hood suspension is getting weak so when you open the hood, you may have to support it with your hand- this is an easy fix. If I get to fix these two minors before the auction ends, I will update the description. If you have any question, feel free to ask. The car has no current warranty and is sold as is. If you stay close enough, you're welcome to test drive before end of auction. Please note that the mileage on this car is about 143,040 (as seen in picture) but I still drive it a few times so I put 143,100 in the description just in case it gets to that before I sell. I bought this car a few months ago to resell (title is clear and in my name). I just checked the free report and found that the actual mileage might be more than what's read on the odometer. That was not from me- I don't even know how to do that. However, I can tell you for certain that this is a great car. I have driven it several times and it's so much luxury and power. Since I bought it, I have serviced it, changed all plugs, air filter and O2 sensor. They were not giving any visible problem but my mechanic advised that I replace them since it will save labor time. This is the description to the best of my knowledge. Feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions.

Sebastien Vettel testing Infiniti's production Etherea?

Thu, 30 May 2013

It sounds like Sebastian Vettel has had his hands full recently, juggling his Formula One racing career while moonlighting as the newly appointed director of performance at Infiniti. On that latter note, Autocar is reporting that Vettel has been testing a production version of the Etherea Concept at France's Circuit Paul Ricard.
There is still no word as to when we could see this car go into production or what it will be called (possibly the Q30), but it will likely share a platform with the Mercedes-Benz A-Class as a part of the Daimler/Renault-Nissan collaboration. The article also said that this future entry-level Infiniti would be produced at Nissan's Sunderland, UK plant.

Infiniti QX50 concept previews production model with variable compression engine

Fri, Dec 30 2016

Infiniti revealed its QX50 concept ahead of its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show, and despite the concept title, it looks pretty much production-ready. The company calls the crossover "an evolution of the QX Sport Inspiration" concept, and that's certainly accurate. Side-by-side, the QX Sport, which we already figured was previewing a new QX50, and this concept look nearly identical. The primary changes are bumpers and side skirts that feature the obligatory aluminum trim to look like skid plates, and simple black plastic fender flares. The overall result is a crossover that is pleasant but not exactly exciting that bridges the gap between the small and swoopy QX30 and the large QX60. The plain wrapper hides plenty of impressive technology, though. Under the hood is Infiniti's fascinating variable-compression turbocharged engine. It's a 2.0-liter inline-four that can alter its compression ratio to anything between 8:1 and 14:1. The result is an engine that produces an estimated 268 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. Infiniti says the four-cylinder should be about 27-percent more efficient than a comparable V6. In addition, while the company says this concept just shows a potential application of the engine, it's safe to say that you can expect it in the production model. With the new engine, the QX50 will also switch from to a front-drive platform, with all-wheel drive definitely an option or possibly standard; the current QX50 is based on the aging rear-drive FM platform used on other Infinitis and the Nissan 370Z. The other new tech buried in the QX50 concept's body is what Infiniti calls the "first production-ready incarnation" of its ProPilot semi-autonomous technology. The company doesn't go into great detail about what it will do except for handling stop-and-go highway traffic. We would hazard a guess that the system is functionally the same as the one introduced on the Nissan Serena minivan in Japan. It goes by the same name and can handle stop-and-go traffic, as well as maintain the car's lane position and distance behind other cars. It's another safe bet that we'll see this system in the production model. Other details about the car, such as the interior, have yet to be revealed. We're sure to see it as well as other information about the QX50's technology when it makes its full debut in Detroit. Related Video:

The Nissan Ariya was nearly the new Murano

Mon, Apr 8 2024

NEW YORK — In addition to providing thoughts on a future Xterra while at the New York International Auto Show, Nissan Americas Senior Vice President and Chief Planning Officer Ponz Pandikuthira also talked with us a bit about EVs, and more specifically model lines and nameplates. We've seen a few strategies ranging from almost completely new and parallel model lines (such as Hyundai's Ioniqs and Kia's EV#s), to reusing old names on still similarly parallel models (such as Chevy's Equinox, Blazer and Silverado EVs), and of course blends of the two. So far, Nissan has gone with the separate model route with Leaf and Ariya, but that may not be as much the case in the future. Pandikuthira noted that now, consumers don't have as much interest in their EVs being some completely unique, statement piece. As such, both Nissan and Infiniti will be adding EVs to existing nameplates more so than totally new model lines. He didn't say whether they would simply be electric variants of existing internal combustion models, or something like Chevy's model, though. But he did note that the Nissan Ariya was, at one point, considered as a possible Murano successor. It certainly would make sense to us. The Ariya is a distinct-looking crossover, and one with a very upscale interior, both key tenets of the Murano from that model's introduction in the early 2000s. Plus, the Murano is in pretty dire need of a replacement, as the current generation dates back nearly a decade ago to the 2015 model year. The reason Pandikuthira gave for the Ariya decision was that the crossover represented enough of a change in Nissan's EV technology and capabilities that the brand wanted to highlight that with a unique nameplate. Nissan won't be ruling out the possibility of new EV-only models, though. Just like with Ariya, Pandikuthira told us that if a planned car is unique enough, the company will still be open to a new line. But expect more, say, electric Rogues and Altimas than totally new names. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
