1997 Infiniti I30 Base Sedan 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Corpus Christi, Texas, United States
Vehicle in good condition because of the body work and minor repairs needed. Ive owned this vehicle for about 5 years now, and the ONLY major problem ive ever had was having to replace the starter, which i did. For some reason the ignition wouldnt turn the starter upon replacing (we tried 2 new starters to make sure we werent using a faulty starter), so my father rigged up a push button starter somehow right under the steering column. So now to start the vehicle you need to turn the key, and then push the button and its starts up strong with NO PROBLEM AT ALL! I found out later however, that rigging up the starter somehow dis-abled my cruise control, but it worked absolutley fine before then, so im sure it's a minor fix. BOTH driver side power windows need a new window regulator, they stay up but will not power up or down at the moment, BOTH passenger side power windows work fine. RPM needle bobbles up and down for some reason, but the engine's RPMs itself do not, vehicle stays on quiet and smooth after turning on. Antenna will power all the way up, but wont go all the way down because somebody tried to bend it i guess (refer to pics). Security sytem works, but my alarm remote fell off of my keychain somewhere, it got lost. Key still locks and unlocks (arms/dis-arms) the security door locks, anti-theft, and alarm though. Driver seat is worn a it and torn at the shoulder, all the other seats are in VERY GOOD condition! The leather on the steering wheel is also worn out a bit. This car has been in a couple of minor fender benders, but it has not affected the car's performance whatsoever. It needs body work, and driver fog lights replaced (refer to pics). Front Infiniti small emblem on the chrome grill needs to be replaced. It also needs new tires, brakes, and an oil change. It has been keyed and dinged up, but besides that it runs VERY VERY VERY STRONG! Transmission DOES NOT slip at all! BOSE CD/CASSETTE/AM/FM work with no problems! Sunroof powers up/down, opens and closes like it should, NO LEAKS and HARDLY ANY RUST around the seal. AC/HEATER WORK NO PROBLEMS! This car is really a beast in my honest opinion, as far as how good it can accelerate and how strong the motor is. It honestly looked almost brand new when i bought it, but other people in my neighborhood have managed to blemish it up pretty good. When i bought it, it had approximately 98K mileage, and most of the miles have put on the car myself are highway miles, commuting back and forth about 40 min both ways daily. This car has NEVER left me stranded anywhere besides the one time i was having problems with that starter I have replaced! I cant stress enough how much this car runs like an absolute champ! I tried taking more pictures of the car's faults than anything else, as i want to be absolutely honest about this sale, just as much as all my others! I know how sketchy a person can feel when buying a used vehicle, but i assure you, this car aims to please! PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS VEHICLE! VEHICLE IS SOLD AS-IS, BUT PLEASE BID WITH CONFIDENCE, IF YOU NEED A STRONG, GREAT RUNNING CAR, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AND HAVE A GREAT DAY!

2023 Japan Mobility Show Mega Photo Gallery: All the highlights and reveals from Tokyo
Fri, Oct 27 2023The 2023 Japan Mobility Show managed to serve up a surprise heap of exciting and futuristic designs and production reveals. Our staff was on the ground in Tokyo for this year's show, where we captured not just all of the latest automotive trends, but some genuinely weird and fascinating stuff. Browse: Some Delightful Oddities of the 2023 Japan Mobility Show But on to the cars. This year's show featured introductions from Daihatsu, Honda, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota. Some are weird; some are wild; most are probably destined to change significantly before production or merely fade into the void with the rest of the industry's vaporware, but if even a few of these make it to showrooms, we'll consider it a win. Scroll on down for our live galleries of each of the show's major debuts (and cars we're only now seeing in person for the first time). Enjoy! Infiniti Q50 BTCC ready to race
Sat, Jan 10 2015A few months ago, Infiniti announced it would field its Q50 sedan (or a racing derivative thereof) in the British Touring Car Championship, and now the Japanese automaker has revealed the tin-top racer in its final form as it prepares to roll onto the grid. Like the rest of the BTCC field, the Q50 racer is based on the series Next Generation Touring Car (NGTC) regulations. That means it's based on the production model, and not on a control chassis (like the one you'd find in NASCAR) done up to look like the showroom version. It also means a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine driving upwards of 300 horsepower through an Xtrac six-speed sequential gearbox with AP Racing clutch, throttle by wire and the manufacturer's choice of front- or rear-wheel drive, the latter of which we assume Infiniti has chosen for its touring car. Two examples of the Q50 BTCC will be fielded by Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing, a non-profit venture with proceeds (assuming there are any) going towards the British paratroopers' charity. The team is being run by Derek Palmer Sr, whose son Derek Jr will drive one, with the other piloted by Richard Hawken, and injured paratroopers filling out the pit crew and support staff. The Infiniti Q50 BTCC will be showcased on the Dunlop stand at the Autosport International show in Birmingham this weekend. NEW Q50 BTCC LIVERY AT AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL SHOW Wednesday, 7 January 2015 The recently announced 'Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing' team, which will contest the Dunlop British Touring Car Championship this season, will unveil a new livery for its two NGTC Infiniti Q50 race cars at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham later this week. The new livery on the Q50, being displayed on the Dunlop stand, has been designed by Infiniti's own design team in Paddington London, further enhancing the ongoing partnership of Infiniti with the Mallory Park-based team, which will employ injured ex-Paratroopers to prepare both race cars. Simon Cox, Infiniti Design Director from Infiniti Design London, said "The new Q50 race car livery was developed to contrast against the traditional branding schemes normally associated with the BTCC grid. However, it still retains a high level of visibility, reflecting both the dynamic qualities of the Infiniti Brand along with the performance and striking contours of the Q50 road car.
Six luxury-car features I'm ashamed to admit I love
Thu, 16 Oct 2014A hot compress felt wonderful on my sore back. The methodical kneading of my shoulder blades loosened the knots that formed over several hours of driving. The Swedish-style pulses firing into my lumbar region released more tension.
I wasn't getting a much-needed massage following a recent road trip. I was getting it during the road trip.
I grew up riding in the back seat of a 1976 Chevy Nova. But once you use these lux features, it's easy to go soft.
