2010 Infiniti G37s Folding Hardtop Convertible on 2040-cars
Cincinnati, Ohio, United States
Outstanding low-mileage (19,250) Infiniti G37S folding hardtop convertible offered at bargain price because of Rebuilt/Flood Title. I bought the car in March/April 2013 with 8900 miles on it. The rebuilder reported the car was received with a diagonal water-mark inside the engine compartment, as if it had been nose-forward in a ditch. A simple cleaning and a new battery was all that was needed. The car has been absolutely faultless and delightful. It is marvelously competent and luxurious. A special treat to me is the quiet of a hardtop convertible at speed. In my S2000, the music (not just the Beethoven and Bach but even Blues and Jazz) became effectively inaudible above 50 or 60 mph from the road noise coming through the ragtop. Top down, forget it. The Infiniti (Bose Premium audio) welcomes Mozart at any speed with the top up, and, thanks to the headrest-mounted Bose speakers, Mozart at 75 mph "topless" is a workable proposition. And it's fun to drive fast, quiet while cruising but a screamer floored. Too much fun--I've accumulated 3 tickets in the little over a year I've had the car. Not bad for a 67-year old. Unfortunately, I'm not ready for Meals On Wheels and want to keep my driving privilege so I can go out and about. With great regret I must put my butt in a slower vehicle--it's going to be a pickup truck for me until these tickets go off my license. I am "reconfiguring my garage" with this intent (see all 3 of my vehicles for sale here). You needn't take a risk with this car. I personally warrant that this car is as I've described and pictured, that everything works as it should, or I will buy it back within 10 days of your receiving it, asking only that an independent mechanic from your area, of my choosing, verify that whatever problem might cause you to want to give the car back is something malfunctioning in the car at the time of sale and not resulting from abuse or hard use of the car after receipt. If you come to pick up the car you may have your deposit back and the deal cancelled (all money back) if you feel, after test-driving and inspecting the car, that it is not everything I've said it is--or for any reason whatsoever. Other than the new tires I put on the car last summer (top of the line Continental Extreme Contact All Season--about $1000 installed on the 19" wheels), I have only had to spend $150 for 3 Mobil 1 oil changes to maintain the car and you should have only oil changes, too, in your first year of ownership. You will want to go to a Credit Union or a small neighbohood bank for financing the car as the big national chain banks re-sell their notes (loans) and cannot re-sell a branded title. A Credit Union and most small neighborhood banks hold their own notes and will welcome your business; a national bank will probably turn you away. There is no problem insuring the car; your insurer will probably want to insure it for the discounted sale value. Some other notable features on the car that should be mentioned: sport suspension and (factory) Akebono big-brake option, backup camera and backup sonar, Navigation, keyless entry and start, handsfree phone use through the Bluetooth audio (with steering wheel-mounted controls), satellite radio, a 9.3GB Music Box HDD as part of the Bose Premium audio, dual-zone auto climate control, HID headlights, and rare adjustable thigh/length extension sport seats which are of course heated and fully power-operated, seat memory for multiple drivers. The car is garage-kept and ding-free. The front bumper has a number of tiny stone chips typical of normal use. |

Infiniti Vision Qe concept will preview the brand's first EV
Fri, Oct 13 2023Infiniti released a dark preview image to give us an early look at its next concept. Called Qe, the design study will make its debut in October 2023 and provide a glimpse at what the Japanese brand's first series-produced electric car will look like when it lands later in the 2020s. Details about the Qe concept are few and far between, and the dark picture published by Infiniti leaves a lot to the imagination. It shows light reflecting on what looks like a fastback-like silhouette, so we know we're not looking at a convertible or at a big, burly SUV like the QX80. We think we see four doors, but the bottom part of the car is obscured so it's too early to tell whether this is a low-slung sedan or a crossover. Out back, a rear light bar is seemingly integrated into a spoiler that's positioned above backlit "INFINITI" lettering. We'll need to be patient to find out more, but an earlier report casts a little bit of light on what to expect from the Qe. Although unofficial, it details four new Infiniti models due out in the coming years, and two are electric. The first is a replacement for the Q70. It will reportedly land by the end of 2026 as the brand's first electric car, and it will feature shorter overhangs as well as a longer wheelbase than its predecessor, which retired in 2019. The second was described by insiders as "a midsize crossover." That's all we know, but odds are the Qe previews one of these two EVs. Infiniti will fully unveil the Qe on October 24, 2023. It also pledged to announce "several stunning new models" at the unveiling event. We're notably expecting to learn more about the next-generation QX80, which was previewed by the QX Monograph concept in August 2023.
Infiniti QX60 AWD vs. Mazda CX-9 Signature
Fri, Jun 16 2017In certain ZIP codes around Dallas, Chevy's Suburban remains the Official SUV of Texas, but Infiniti's QX60 could be the Official Crossover. The Pathfinder-based three-row is everywhere. And while its popularity is based on transporting kids and their stuff, the QX60 is a more urban Suburban. Mazda's CX-9 is not as ubiquitous as the QX60 in McMansion driveways, but it has been making inroads into the near-luxury segment with its near-luxury spec. The CX-9's second generation has obviously upscale intent, in the sheetmetal and throughout the top-line Signature interior. And the prices of these two cars are surprisingly close. INFINITI QX60 AWD: The sheetmetal differentiating Infiniti's QX60 from its volume-oriented Nissan donor is attractive. The changes are subtle, and in profile the Pathfinder and Infiniti are almost identical, but the eye is drawn to the differences in the grille and D-pillar. The Infiniti has a luxury vibe with a more athletic stance. The QX60's interior surfaces seem upscale, but if you want wood it will cost you. In "building our own" and opting for graphite leather with maple trim, the wood requires another $12,000(!) of mandatory packages, including Infiniti's Premium and Premium Plus packages ($1,800 and $2,900, respectively) and $7,300 of Deluxe Tech. So, wood? We wouldn't. But if you do, know the QX60 won't match the larger QX80 in presence or passion, but it is certainly something beyond a rebadged Pathfinder. For you and your passengers, there is 156 cubic feet of interior room; with the second and third rows folded, you can accommodate 76 cubic feet of cargo. Like in most crossovers, that third row is best used by young kids, but taking six adults to lunch won't require too much gymnastics – or chiropractics. On the road, the QX60 is known more for comfort than composure; this isn't an old Buick, but neither is it a BMW. Nissan's 3.5 liter V6 produces generous power (295 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque), but it's transmitted to either the front wheels or all wheels via a CVT (continuously variable transmission). Nissan has tried to mitigate the quirkiness, but it's a CVT all the same. At a well-equipped base of $44,000, we like the QX60. But start adding options, and you can approach $60,000, which is real money even in the better ZIP codes. MAZDA CX-9 SIGNATURE: This, ladies and gentlemen, is dramatic. Mazda has absolutely nailed it. Using Mazda's KODO design language on a large platform could have gone wrong.
Infiniti and Steph Curry team up for hilarious 'ugliest car ever' prank
Mon, Aug 5 2019Stephen Curry, the famous Golden State Warriors basketball player, and Infiniti just pulled an epic and cringeworthy prank on Curry's friend COSeezy. In case you hadn’t noticed the commercials, Curry is a brand ambassador for Infiniti, so heÂ’s pretty tight with the Japanese luxury brand. The MVP invited his friend over to help him shoot a commercial for a mysterious new Infiniti concept car that Curry “helped design.” COSeezy was there to react to what would surely be an incredible piece of machinery. What Curry ended up showing him was a GO-4. You may have seen one of these crawling along city streets doing the odd job or two, and thereÂ’s absolutely nothing glorious about them. Curry dressed this particular GO-4 out with one hell of a body kit in an attempt to fool COSeezy into thinking it was a fancy new concept car. And he succeeded. Take a gander at the footage and have a laugh for yourself — things get rather awkward and embarrassing for COSeezy as the video goes on. But hey, thatÂ’s what pranks are for. In case you were wondering, the luxurious GO-4 features a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine that puts out 66 horsepower. It has a four-speed automatic transmission and achieves a claimed 45 mpg. The vehicle looks ridiculous, though, and thatÂ’s pretty much all that matters here. Infiniti did pull an actual concept car out of a nearby garage after they let COSeezy know it was a prank. They had the QX Inspiration Concept on hand — itÂ’s the crossover Infiniti showed at the Detroit Auto Show this year.
