2004 Infinity FX 45 with Technology Package Thanks for looking at my all-wheel drive Infinity FX 45! This is a great car with only 79,XXX original miles. Finished in Black with brown leather, the car is absolutely beautiful. The car is in great condition with low miles. With heated seats, navigation and the technology package, it has just about every option available. It even has a rear DVD player with wireless headphones- we have never had the headphones out of the original Infinity packaging! I am the second owner, we bought this car in 2005 with 19,000 miles. The car has been absolutely great, needing next to nothing over the years. The 8 cylinder engine has always run excellent, the transmission has always been flawless, running very smoothly. The car has had oil changes every 3,000 miles. All the equipment works well. There is a new battery. The car has never been smoked in, and is kept in a climate controlled garage. Here are some of the MANY options: 4 wheel drive Navigation Backup camera Sunroof Heated Seats Rear DVD player with wireless headphones Intelligent laser cruise control Bose 300 watt eleven speaker stereo system Serius Satellite radio (you need the subscription) Tire pressure monitoring Intelligent keyless entry (with 2 fobs)- this is really great, just have the fob in your pocket or purse and touch the door handle to lock and unlock the car! Really convenient! There are some minor dings and scuffs that are typical on the exterior (see the picture of the minor scuff on the front bumper), the wheels were chromed from the factory and have some of the chrome peeling- you may wish to refinish them. The driver’s seat has a crack in the leather on the side of the seat by the seat adjusters (see picture, not a big deal). We have had a child seat in the rear seat and there might be some indentations on the seat when it is removed. This car is amazing to drive, I don’t think you can purchase a crossover SUV that has all the attributes of a SUV yet handles like a sports car. Great to drive, and with the VERY low maintenance of Infinity, cheap to own. Note that I have sold several cars on EBay and have over 700 transactions that are 100% positive. I am currently marketing the car locally, and reserve the right to cancel the auction prior to the auction end if it sells. All serious bidders are welcome to view and drive the car prior to the end of the auction, with the understanding that if the car is how I have described it here, I will expect you to bid on the car prior to the auction end. In other words, I do not want to show the car if the current bid price is out of your budget, or if you are just looking. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. My cell is 414-750-5007.
A $2,000 deposit by PayPal is due within 24 hours of auction
end, and balance by wire or cashiers check within 7 days of auction end. PLEASE
do not bid if you do not intend or cannot pay for the car. If you have feedback
of less than 3, or negative feedback for non-payment, you must contact me prior
to bidding, or your bid will be automatically canceled. Transportation,
delivery and any fees or costs of licensing the car in your state are the
responsibility of the winner. The car will be released as soon as funds have
cleared. The car is lien free with title in hand. Thanks for looking, and good
luck bidding on this great FX 45! |

2016 Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Prototype [w/video]
Mon, 28 Jul 2014It only takes about half a lap of the Millbrook Proving Grounds for me to become convinced that Infiniti must build this car.
The sedan I am piloting around the English circuit is a working prototype of the Q50 Eau Rouge Concept that made its world debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show earlier this year. As a refresher, the exquisitely painted, burgundy metallic, four-door show car is based on the production Q50, enhanced with Infiniti Red Bull Racing-inspired carbon-fiber bodywork, aerodynamic upgrades and - as we would come to learn at the Geneva Motor Show a few months later - fitted with a beastly twin-turbocharged engine shared with the parent company's spectacular Nissan GT-R.
Despite lacking the concept's gorgeously expensive paint, the vinyl-wrapped red prototype seen here is much more appealing than the static concept, as it is mechanically complete - it can be driven - thus explaining why I have traveled one-third of the way around the world to test this enthusiast-tuned, one-of-a-kind machine at one of Europe's premier testing facilities.
Tesla leads and Infiniti bleeds in Consumer Reports' satisfaction survey
Mon, Feb 8 2021According to Consumer Reports, Tesla owners are more likely to rave about their vehicles than any other brand. And we're not surprised — Tesla has performed very well in past customer satisfaction surveys, despite the fact that the electric cars themselves tend to have more problems than most other automobiles. Second place went to Lincoln, which interestingly had a higher cumulative score than Tesla in individual category measurements like comfort and storage space. Ram, a truck-only brand, rounded out the top three. The consumer-focused magazine bases its owner satisfaction score on responses to a very simple question: Would you buy this exact car again? The higher percentage of owners who answer "definitely yes" to that question, the higher the satisfaction score. Further breakdowns are scored for other parts of the ownership experience, which is why brands that rank poorly in Consumer Reports' own reliability charts — like Tesla and Lincoln, for example — can still earn top marks for satisfaction. The lowest-ranked brands for satisfaction are Cadillac, Nissan and Infiniti. Interestingly, Cadillac performed better than average in Driving and Comfort and middle-of-the-road in the In-Car Electronics and Cabin Storage, but like most other brands, scored poorly in Value. In fact, only Subaru, Mazda and Volkswagen scored better than average in Value. Nissan and especially Infiniti earned comparatively low marks across the board to go along with the bottom-of-the-barrel satisfaction score. Here's the full list of automakers from Consumer Reports' satisfaction survey, ranked in order from best to worst: Tesla Lincoln Ram Chrysler Subaru Hyundai Porsche Dodge Mazda Toyota Kia Mini BMW Ford Audi Honda Volvo Volkswagen Lexus Jeep GMC Chevrolet Mercedes-Benz Buick Cadillac Nissan Infiniti It's worth diving into the individual category scores in addition to the official finishing order for a full look at the results. For instance, despite the fact that automakers like Lincoln and Ford use similar infotainment systems, their In-Car Electronics scores don't quite match up. Also, some automakers have full lineups with multiple cars, trucks and SUVs while others offer just a couple of nameplates. Head on over to Consumer Reports for all the details. Vettel and Coulthard drive Russia's very unfinished Sochi Circuit
Thu, 16 May 2013The next Winter Olympics will happen in Sochi, Russia from February 7-23, 2014. Sometime after that, barring any delays, a portion of the Sochi Olympic Park will be turned into the Sochi Olympic Park Circuit, a 3.65-mile track for the first Russian Grand Prix in 100 years (the last of two Formula One grands prix were held in St. Petersburg).
As we've come to expect from the Infiniti Red Bull team, it recently sent Sebastian Vettel and brand ambassador David Coulthard to the unfinished venue to run the route in Infiniti M sedans and offer some impressions. With average cornering speeds above 62 miles an hour, Coulthard called it a fast street circuit in the Monaco vein. You can watch them try it out - yes, that's Vettel gone airborne above - and avoid a "White Van Man" in the video below.
