COLOR:  BLACK with ORANGE (aka) BASKETBALL Leather Interior

Title: CLEAR and IN-HAND (no lien)

EXTERIOR: The beautiful BLACK paint shines brilliantly in the sun. This vehicle is in excellent shape. There are no serious scrapes or defects to mention. A few small, minor scuffs are visible on close inspection. And just like a rare jewel, an FX45 is not an easy to come by vehicle! Because of its wide stance, the FX45 feels bigger than it really is but still rides more like a car than a typical SUV. And as Infiniti says, it's a "premium SUV with the heart of a sports car," or as I like to think, the original cross-over. Acceleration will never be a problem because the FX45 is equipped with a very powerful 4.5L V8 engine with 315 horsepower and 329 lb-ft of torque!  Adding a K&N Air Filter and Invidia Exhaust the horsepower should be more accurately around 330 The car handles exceptionally well with 4-wheel independent suspension. There are power heated mirrors with memory so you can always see where you're going. Putting the sport in "sport utility vehicle" are the 20" aluminum alloy wheels with tires in good condition! Helping you see clearly into the night are great HID xenon headlamps and front fog lights. Let's keep in mind, too, that this is an AWD model! You'll love the safety and performance that come with having a vehicle that can stay firmly planted to the ground no matter what driving conditions are. This is a very good looking Infiniti.

INTERIOR: The lovely ORANGE (aka) Basketball leather interior creates a warm and welcoming environment. You will love the clean cabin. Infiniti has even gone the extra mile adding genuine aluminum trim to really add a fresh appeal to the FX45. The very nice leather-wrapped steering wheel is a great addition and it features controls for the stereo, and cruise control. With the dual zone auto climate control, there will be no fighting over temperature. All passengers will be comfortable, not only because of the climate, but also because of the comfortable seating. To further assist with staying warm on colder days of the year, the front seats are heated! The seats, headliner, and carpeting are all in very good condition. With its powerful BOSE sound system, you'll have great features like AM/FM/Satellite stereo with 6-disc CD changer, pumping through 10 speakers including a Bose subwoofer located in the spare under the rear cargo area. You will be able to let the day or night in with the power tilt/slide moonroof, thus making the spacious cabin feel even larger. The interior also includes standard Infiniti features such as: power locks and windows, tilt steering wheel, steering mounted controls, trip computer, driver and front passenger adjustable power seats, second row folding seats, cargo area, auxiliary power outlets: 4 total (2 in front, 1 in 2nd row and 1 in trunk), overhead console with home link and compass, and cup holders! Japan sends official to Lebanon over fugitive Carlos Ghosn

Mon, Mar 2 2020

BEIRUT — Japan's deputy justice minister met top officials in Lebanon on Monday over the case of NissanÂ’s fugitive ex-boss, Carlos Ghosn, who fled to his home country late last year while on bail in Japan and awaiting trial. Ghosn was arrested in late 2018 and is facing charges of under-reporting income and breach of trust. He says he is innocent. He led Nissan for nearly 20 years. State Minister of Justice Hiroyuki Yoshiie (pictured above with Lebanese Justice Minister Marie Claude Najm) met President Michel Aoun as well as the Lebanese minister of foreign affairs. Yoshiie did not speak to reporters after the meetings and is scheduled to hold a news conference later in the day. Aoun's office said in a tweet after the meeting that they discussed mutual relations and ways of developing them "in addition to matters that are of interest for both countries." The tweet did not mention Ghosn, who made his first public appearance in Lebanon in early January saying he fled a “nightmare” that would not end and vowed to defend his name wherever he can get a fair trial. On Friday, Japan's Justice Minister Masako Mori said she was dispatching the official to Beirut to explain the Japanese justice system and improve cooperation. She said Japan hoped Lebanon would gain “a proper understanding of the Japanese criminal justice system.” Japan and Lebanon do not have an extradition treaty, and it's unlikely Lebanon would agree to send Ghosn, considered a Lebanese national hero, back to Japan to face trial. Mori acknowledged that there were “various environments” and laws that underpin each country's stance. Nissan, maker of the Leaf electric car and Z sports car, said in a statement regarding the justice officialÂ’s trip that it hoped Ghosn would return to Japan to stand trial, “so that all the facts can be properly established under JapanÂ’s judicial system.” Having spent months in detention and struggling to gain his release on bail under stringent conditions, Ghosn said he fled in the belief he could not get a fair trial in Japan. Japan has requested GhosnÂ’s return through Interpol and issued an arrest warrant after his escape. Lebanese prosecutors issued a travel ban for Ghosn in January and asked him to hand in his French passport following the Interpol-issued notice against him. NissanÂ’s sales have plunged recently, and it sank into losses for the last fiscal quarter. The brand is widely considered to have been tarnished by the controversy around Ghosn.

2020 Infiniti QX50 Luggage Test | Not infinity, but enough

Mon, May 11 2020

The 2020 Infiniti QX50 is a comfortable five-seat luxury crossover that competes with the Audi Q5, Acura RDX, Volvo XC60, Lexus NX and others. If you’re interested in a QX50, itÂ’s probably got something to do with its impressive, technologically advanced VC-Turbo variable compression engine. It also has sumptuous swales of bodywork, a long list of driver-assist and safety features, and a solidly luxurious interior with a two-screen infotainment setup. The window sticker for the QX50 we drove recently in Essential trim says the seats were leatherette; if true, itÂ’s the most buttery fake leather out there. Still, the engineÂ’s the star. If performance is your only consideration, you can also get the VC-Turbo in the Nissan Altima sedan weighing 400 to 500-plus pounds less and at an MSRP starting $7,500 lower, a price spread that quickly expands as you option up the QX50. But if you want the QX50, itÂ’s probably because itÂ’s a crossover. You want to haul stuff. Which brings us to: luggage test. The QX50 has a cargo capacity of 31.1-31.4 cubic feet behind its raised back seat, which expands to 65.1 cubic feet with the rear seats down. That's more than most in its class, and the QX50Â’s cargo hold certainly looks big and usable enough. To test it, I had six roller suitcases at my disposal. Three would need to be checked at the airport, and one of those is particularly mondo (29x19x11, 26x17x10, 25x16x10). Three others were small enough to carry on (24x14x10, 23x14x11, 22x14x9). Several bags have four wheels that protrude and were counted in the dimensions. I lacked access to RiswickÂ’s wifeÂ’s fancy bag. An asterisk to all our luggage tests: Our crack team of test suitcases is empty. I know someone who can seriously overstuff a soft-sided bag, so depending on how you pack, your results may vary. The QX50 didn't arrive with a cargo cover, so that made things easier. My first stab at loading all those bags seemed promising — five out of six bags fit. Two of the big boys on edge, three carry-ons standing up. That would be one bag for every occupant, but hey, we can do better.  Standing them all up was the easy solution. This fits all six bags, and I'm certain they wouldn't fly forward in a hard stop. But the driver's rear view is impeded. I'd be annoyed to look back at this throughout a long trip. That biggest bag is the biggest offender, so can we just lay that one down? Sure, but we're back to just five bags fitting.
