2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.4 liter 4cyl. engine with automatic transmission. This car only has 52610 miles on it. Equipped with power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cold air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, CD MP3 player, and keyless entry. Has aftermarket grilles in the front bumper.

This car has been involved in an accident and will need the following parts to repair......Left rear quarter panel, left rear inner fender, rear body panel, decklid (trunk lid), left taillight rear bumper, rear window, left interior trunk panels. Couple repairable dent on right quarter panel, some scratches on the front bumper cover, about 3" crack in the windshield. I replaced the rear upper control arm, wheel, and tire so that it would be drivable. I'm sure that it will need an alignment. It should not have any other suspension  damage. The left rear frame rail does not appear to be bent.

This car runs great. no engine or transmission problems. No airbags were blown but the airbag light is on not sure why. It may have to have a battery. I had to jump it off. The battery looks good and is dated 07/2012 so it should charge and be ok. I have not put it on a charger. Also couple cigarette burns on passenger side seat see pictures. Car does not smell like smoke though. When I bought it the rear window was covered with plastic. I removed the tape and plastic to clean and take photos. The car has been in my shop since then. So it has not been out in the rain with broken window.

I bought this car from an insurance company and it does have a salvage title.

This car runs and lot drives.

I have tried to do my best to describe all the damage and view all the damage in the pictures, but with any wrecked vehicle there could be something hidden or missed so please ask any questions before bidding. All bidders are welcome to come check out vehicle in person before bidding or buying.

Thanks for viewing my auctions.

Recharge Wrap-up: Hyundai visually explains fuel cells, BYD T5 electric truck

Wed, Aug 13 2014

Are you still unclear about how exactly a hydrogen fuel cell works to power a car? Hyundai is offering a great visual on how its fuel cells operate in cars like the Tucson fuel Cell. Basically, the anode splits the hydrogen molecule into a positive and negative ion. The negative ions are used for electricity, while the positive ions are pushed through a membrane to the cathode, where both ions are combined with oxygen to create the byproduct of water. There's a little more to it than that to make it work in a vehicle, so see for yourself in the infographic below. BYD is launching its T5 electric light truck in China. The truck has a maximum speed of 31 miles per hour, making it mostly suitable for in-city and campus duty. It has a range of almost 250 miles, though, and with its size, the T5 could make a pretty adept delivery truck. The battery is situated under the load bay between the axles, keeping the center of gravity low. Price could be an issue, but government subsidies might help convince some companies to make the switch to BYD's electric truck. See more over at Car News China. The Mahindra Reva e2o electric vehicle will offer a fast charging feature, called Quick2Charge. Normally, the e2o takes five hours to fully charge, but that time gets cut to just one hour with the new option. Choosing the Quick2Charge option adds 45,000 rupees (about $735) to the price of the e2o. The new e2o is supposed to get electric power steering, and, later, a four-door variant. Mahindra Reva is also making an export-only version with Quick2Charge, longer range, electric steering, airbags, and ABS. Read more over at Indian Cars Bikes. The Quebec-Vermont Electric Charging Corridor is set to expand with 14 new charging stations. Melanie Dufresne of the area's tourism board announced that the 240-volt chargers would be installed in Le Haut-Richelieu Regional County Municipality. Drivers will use a special access card to charge at the stations in the region for $2.50. The stations will be installed by the end of the year. 2019 Hyundai Tucson revised with new styling and convenience tech

Wed, Mar 28 2018

The Hyundai Tucson gets significant updates for the 2019 model year, with freshened styling all around to bring its look in line with the brand-new Kona and Santa Fe crossovers, revised engine options, and more of the safety and convenience technology that buyers have come to expect from the small crossover category. Gone is the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine option in the Tucson, replaced by a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter engine with 181 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. This same engine was just announced for the 2018 model year, available exclusively in the Tucson Sport, but the 2019 refresh puts the uprated mill in the SEL, Sport, and Limited trims. A 2.0-liter engine is standard in Value and SE trim levels, where it makes 164 hp and 151 lb-ft. The Tucson gets redesigned fascias front and rear, with Hyundai's latest "cascading grille" design. Unlike the Santa Fe and Kona, the Tucson has traditional single-unit lighting clusters that extend from the top corners of the grille. A smaller, angular set of driving lights sit well below the headlights. Interior changes are less noticeable, but the addition of optional second-row USB charging ports and Qi wireless smartphone charging add convenience to upper trim levels. A seven-inch touchscreen comes standard and includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Forward Collision Avoidance and Lane Keeping Assist are standard on all 2019 Hyundai Tucson models. A surround-view monitor, pedestrian detection, high-beam assist, rain-sensing wipers, smart cruise control with stop-and-go, and a driver attention warning system are optional. Expect to see the 2019 Hyundai Tucson in dealerships this fall. In the meantime, check out our high-res image gallery above, and stay tuned for more — Hyundai is rumored to have an N-branded high-performance version of the Tucson in the works. Hyundai i20 WRC gets shakedown in Finland

Fri, 30 Aug 2013

It's always a good day when we get to post a video about rally racing. It's even better when that video is of a new WRC competitor undergoing testing. This spy video shows Hyundai's i20 WRC, a car that debuted nearly one year ago at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. It's set to usher in Hyundai's return to top-flight motorsports, and will do battle with the cars from Citroen, Ford and Volkswagen that are currently contesting the 2013 season.
This video, which shows the i20 testing on the notoriously tough Finnish rally stages, gives the impression that progress on the new WRC contender is going well. It certainly looks fast, and as with the vast majority of rally cars, it sounds absolutely wonderful (listen to some of those gun-shot-like backfires). Take a look below for the whole, glorious three minutes and 20 seconds of unadulterated rally noise, flying dirt and jumping.
