This Hyundai is loaded with options including a factory Leather interior, alloy wheels, front and side airbags, and much more. You can see that the previous owner cared for the car and it was well maintained. Cosmetically the Sonata has no damage except what is listed below and pictured. The engine and transmission feel excellent and sound strong. The interior, like the exterior is very clean as well, showing minimal wear and tear for a car of this age. All the accessories work as they should. The 4 tires will be replaced at the time of sale, with new matching name brand tires. The only minor imperfections are on the rear quarter panels of the car, there are 2 dings on the drivers side and one on the passenger side quarter (pictured below). There are some other minor scratches as to be expected with a 7 year old car. The trim and emblems have been finished in satin black. The interior is in excellent condition with an aftermarket pioneer stereo (the original is included as pictured in the trunk), the only flaw being where the shifter is, it's missing the plastic piece where the shift gate is (pictured below). The wheels are in excellent condition (also pictured). We are offering this Sonata at an aggressive price and we are open to offers. We also offer financing for this vehicle and accept all trades. We can also provide extended warranty at an additional cost. All

Hyundai and Kia recalling 1.6M more models for faulty brake switch
Wed, 03 Apr 2013In what is likely the largest recall campaign for Hyundai and Kia, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall of more than 1.6 million models due to a faulty brake switch. This is in addition to almost 700,000 Hyundai and Kia models recalled for the same problem back in 2009.
In more than 620,000 Kia models and 1 million Hyundai products for the 2007 through 2011 model years, the brake switch could malfunction causing the brake lights to not illuminate, which could lead to accident. Other possible issues with a faulty switch include the cruise control not cancelling with the brake pedal, the push-button starter not working properly and the shift interlock not disengaging causing the transmission to be stuck in Park. To fix the problem, the brake lights switch will be replaced.
Due to the large number of units being recalled, both automakers are issuing a notice by next month with parts not expected to be ready until June. The full list of affected vehicles and the NHTSA press releases are posted below.
Hyundai admits 124-mile Ioniq EV is 'not enough'
Mon, Nov 14 2016The Hyundai all-electric Ioniq isn't even here yet, and the company is already admitting that it can't compete. That's one way to read a statement by Ahn Byung-ki, director of Hyundai's eco-vehicle performance group, who said recently that that 124-mile EV will be supplanted by a 200-plus-mile version in 2018. After all, in a world full of Bolt EVs, second-gen Leafs, and Tesla Model 3s, an electric car that goes 124 miles isn't going to wow the way it could. Despite the push Hyundai is making with the Ioniq – which will come with plug-in hybird, standard hybrid and full EV powertrains – Ahn told Automotive News that 124 miles is "not enough, and we have a plan to extend that to more than 200 by 2018." Ahn and Hyundai are working on more than just the Ioniq line-up. Aside from the hydrogen-powered Tucson Fuel Cell, the company has a totally new hydrogen-powered large-ish vehicle. We might see the first taste of that in the same year as the Ioniq EV gets its first range boost. In other words, everything's moving fast as the company works to introduce 26 green models through 2020. Related Video:
An inside look at Rhys Millen's new Pikes Peak Unlimited racer [w/video]
Sat, 15 Jun 2013Wider, Lower And Decidedly More Sinister
Rhys Millen was sitting on a cooler whittling away at a piece of aluminum when I first arrived at the expansive skidpad at the California Proving Grounds, owned by Hyundai, located in a desolate part of the California desert about a dozen miles east of Mojave. By the time I had walked over to the accomplished driver for introductions, he had picked up a piece of sandpaper and begun to arduously file away at the alloy's rough edges, smoothing them masterfully.
He was focused on the job, but I politely interrupted him and asked what he was making. Ryhs looked up, smiled, and then grabbed a few zip-ties and asked me to come over to the new Hyundai RMR PM580-T, destined for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in just two short weeks, raised on its air jacks just a few yards away.
