2011 Hyundai Accent. One Owner. Low Miles.35 Mpg. Not Civic, Accord, Focus..... on 2040-cars
Brandon, Mississippi, United States
I looked everywhere to find one of these before I bought a new one. 2011 sporty looking Accent. I added a Sony radio and professional tent. I have also upgraded the tires, front struts, and windshield wipers. Tires are 60,000 mile Bridgestone's, with the paint between the very little worn tread still showing. Hyundai makes a very well built, roomy small car but the factory tires and struts wear out quickly. That's why I'm calling this one better than new. Car is warrantied to 100,000 miles. I drove this one to and from work, twenty miles each way, down the Natchez Trace. Out of the 46+++ miles on the car aprox 40,000 of those have been down the trace at 50 mph. Car looks, runs and drives like new. I have the original window sticker, all manuals, two keys, radio receipt and paper work, tint receipt, etc. Two parking lot boo boo's, front right fender paint scuff (someone bumped it at work) and a scratch over the rear drivers side passenger window (No idea how that happened) see pics. Car runs down the interstate at 80 mph, no problems. I have gotten 36 mpg out of this car on numerous occasions. Please feel free to ask questions. Your more than welcome to come and drive. Please look at the pictures, what you see is exactly what you get. Never smoked in and always kept as clean as a whistle. I have an enclosed car hauler so delivery may be an option, contact for details, probably around $1.50 per mile both ways...? A local dealer offered me $6000.00. That is the reserve. Thank you and good luck.

Hyundai reveals a fourth, autonomous flavor of Ioniq
Thu, Nov 17 2016Hyundai added a fourth variant of the Ioniq line at this year's Los Angeles auto show, but this one isn't headed for production just yet. It's an autonomous concept that Hyundai is using to develop affordable, integrated hardware and software. Integrating all the hardware is something Hyundai is quite proud of, particularly the positioning of the lidar system in the front bumper. Hyundai says moving the lidar gear to the bumper allows the Ioniq "to look like any other car on the road and not a high school science project." We wonder if that statement was directed to Ford and its autonomous Fusion prototypes. The three lidar sensors are combined with a variety of other systems aboard the autonomous Ioniq. A number of the sensors are already going to be installed on production Ioniqs, including the radar for the car's Smart Cruise Control and the lane-keep assist cameras. The car's blind-spot radar will also be used for lane changes. Hyundai says by using these existing parts, implementing autonomous technology should be simpler and cheaper. These standard Ioniq sensors are all supplemented with a GPS antenna, high-definition mapping data, and a three-camera system installed just behind the windshield for detecting pedestrians, lane markings, and traffic signals. The car isn't just for show either. Hyundai has three of the autonomous Ioniqs testing in South Korea, alongside a pair of autonomous hydrogen fuel cell Tucsons. The company will also bring two autonomous Ioniqs to the 2017 Consumer Electronic Show. The cars will be there to give rides to the media. Vaccar Hyundai Tucson Sport to be shown at SEMA
Mon, Oct 23 2017Hyundai will display a custom concept version of its Tucson Sport developed by Vaccar at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, showing a more muscular-looking crossover that contains a full aero kit and significant additions to the powertrain, design, infotainment and suspension. The concept enhances the Sport, the third-highest of four trim options for 2017, by adding a Boostec turbocharger, AEM air intake system and charge pipe kit, a Mishimoto G-Line intercooler, new piping and exhaust, and other elements to the standard turbocharged 1.6-liter, inline-four engine. It also gets forged wheels, new tires, and Vaccar-Power Stop front and rear Z23 Evolution brakes. The exterior gets a blue and silver metallic two-tone paint treatment from BASF, an M&S mesh front grille and Vaccar front lip, side skirts and rear diffuser. Interior features include Katzkin ice grey leather, 9-inch headrest-mounted LCD screens, and an Android-powered 9-inch head unit with WiFi. "The Vaccar Tucson Sport Concept takes the Tucson far beyond its OEM roots without sacrificing reliability," said Aaron Vaccar, president of Vaccar. "By building upon the well-developed Tucson platform, powertrain and design, we've given enthusiasts a vision of just where this affordable crossover aspires to go." SEMA runs from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3.Related Video: Featured Gallery Vaccar Hyundai Tucson Sport Concept: SEMA 2017 View 9 Photos Image Credit: Live photos copyright 2017 Drew Phillips / Autoblog.com SEMA Show Hyundai Crossover Concept Cars hyundai tucson
Next-gen Hyundai Genesis reveals new skin on 'Ring
Wed, 17 Apr 2013The launch of the next-generation Hyundai Genesis is drawing closer and closer, and this latest set of spy shots gives us our best look yet at the Korean automaker's new sedan. Caught testing on the Nürburgring, we're not only getting a better look at the finer details of the Hyundai's exterior, but this set of photos gives us a clear view inside the cockpit, as well.
For its new generation, the Hyundai Genesis appears to be moving a bit more upmarket in terms of materials and layout, with a redesigned steering wheel, gauge cluster and center stack. The current car's analog clock appears to be left intact, smack dab in the middle of the heating and cooling controls, but the rest of the updates look decidedly more modern and, if we're honest, a bit German.
Outside, it's obvious that the new Hyundai will wear a more aggressive front fascia, along with what appears to be a more rakish rear deck. Earlier reports have stated that the next Genesis will be much lighter than the current car, and with a much more sporty tune to the suspension. We'll know more when the car is officially revealed, though it's still unclear exactly when that will be.
