2005 Hyundai Tiburon Gt - *no Rust* on 2040-cars
Hooksett, New Hampshire, United States
I am finally selling my beloved 2005 Hyundai Tiburon GT as it is time to upgrade. It is clean and a non-smoker. Do not be wary about the rebuilt title as I have put a lot of work into this car. I have retained all the paperwork back when I bought the car as salvage in 2011. I bought the car in South Carolina and it has only been through one winter season (went to car wash every two weeks) so NO RUST. I would like to note that I do drive this still, so the mileage may be slighter higher than listed here.
General Maintenance: - Car aligned and tires/wheels balanced 6/15/14 - All struts were replaced in 2012 - Transmission fluid changed in 2013 - Timing Belt and other belts replaced in 2014 - Replaced power steering hoses due to leak in 2014 - Synthetic oil with OEM oil filter replaced every 5k miles Modifications: - Debadged for Tuscani (korean version of Tiburon) symbols - 2011 - Upgraded spoiler - 2011 - Tinted windows - 27% - 2012 - New front rotor and pads - 2013 - Replaced rear rotor and pads in 2014 due to locking caliper (which is fixed) - Calipers painted black - 2013 - Upgraded wheels and tires - 2013 - 18" Axis Sport Xfactor with 225/40ZR18 - Purchased winter tires for stock rims (tires used two seasons) - 2013 - Injen short ram - 2012 - DC Sports Cat-back exhaust (nice low growl) - 2013 - ARK GT-F lowering springs - 2012 - Eibach Camber bolts for front tires - 2012 - Beltronics 955 Radar Dectector hardwired in (turns on with car, shuts off when car off) - 2012 - Viper Security Alarm System installed - 2013 - Upgraded stereo system with all new speakers and used subwoofer - 2012 - Replaced dash with 2008 model - 2013 - Upgraded shift knob - 2013 This car is definitely a head turner and is a ton of fun to drive. If I had the space to keep it around I would but unfortunately I do not. If you want a sports car and want one that sounds good too, look no further. I have nothing to hide with this car, so any questions are welcome. I AM SELLING THIS VEHICLE AS IS WITH NO GUARANTEES, WARRANTIES OR OTHER COVENANTS. |

2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco priced from $21,485
Fri, May 6 2016Hyundai announced base price for the 2017 Elantra Eco. $21,485 (including destination fee) gets you a sedan with a 1.4-liter turbo swapped in place of the Elanta's standard 1.8-liter or optional 2.0-liter four cylinder engines. EPA fuel economy figures of 40 highway, 32 city, 35 combined represent increases of 2, 4, and 3 over the 1.8-liter Elantra. The Elantra Eco gets mixed scores compared to the competition but the figures are misleading. The Hyundai's numbers reflect the updated 2017 fuel economy numbers, which are generally lower than 2016. Starting next year, automakers will change the way they adjust test figures to come up with the window sticker numbers. Comparing 2017 Elantra Eco apples to the 2016 competition's oranges, the Elantra is close to even. The Honda Civic (both turbo and naturally aspirated engines), Chevrolet Cruze, and Toyota Corolla Eco rate the same 35 combined mpg. The Hyundai's city number is one to two better than the field, but the highway figure is the same difference behind. In terms of pricing, the Elantra Eco costs around $1000 to $1500 more than base grade versions from the competition, but comes with a decent level of standard features. Keyless entry and ignition, blind-spot warning with cross traffic alert, dual-zone climate control, and heated seats are all included in the base price. A seven-speed dual clutch automatic is the only available transmission.Related Video: Fountain Valley, Calif., May 5, 2016 – Hyundai Motor America today announced pricing for the all-new 2017 Elantra Eco starting at $20,650. Elantra Eco is the most fuel efficient Elantra, delivering an EPA estimated 40 mpg on the highway and 35 mpg in combined city and highway driving. These mpg ratings could result in an average annual fuel cost of just $900 (source: fueleconomy.gov). 2017 Elantra Eco Pricing MSRP (excluding freight): $20,650 MPG (City / Highway / Combined): 32 / 40 / 35 Annual Fuel Cost*: $900 Engine: 1.4-liter turbo GDI 4-cylinder Transmission: Seven-speed EcoShift Dual Clutch Transmission with Shiftronic® *Data from Fueleconomy.gov (4/21/2016) Pricing above excludes $835 freight charge Elantra Eco's LED daytime running lights flank a bold hexagonal grille. On the inside, there is a standard seven-inch Display Audio touchscreen with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ support.
2014 Hyundai Azera gives you more for less
Fri, 20 Dec 2013The Azera is sort of the forgotten Hyundai. Despite just having rolled out the new version a couple of years ago, the Korean automaker hasn't been able to move them very quickly. Where the smaller Sonata and Elantra sell in the tens of thousands each month, the fullsize Azera barely reaches that in a year. In fact it's Hyundai's second slowest-selling model, behind the flagship Equus. But Hyundai's not resigning itself to letting Azeras sit around on dealer lots. Thus, the company is actually reducing the car's price while increasing the array of standard equipment.
Now starting at $31,000, the base 2014 Azera now comes with a six-inch color LCD, backup camera, blind-spot mirror and three years of Assurance Connected Care services. Spring for the $34,750 Azera Limited and you get an eight-inch display, electroluminescent gauges, LCD trip computer and power folding mirrors.
Despite the increased level of specification, the Azera is now $1,250 cheaper than the previous-year model, while still offering the highest specific output and most front-seat room in its class. Scope out the details in the press release below and the fresh batch of images in the gallery above for a closer look.
Hyundai hearts House Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Caucus in Tucson promotion
Thu, Sep 25 2014Hyundai may be based in South Korea, but the automaker is touting hydrogen fuel-cell technology as an all-American benefit and is getting some help from the US government to do so. The company said this week that it's collaborating with the US Department of Energy and the House Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Caucus at promoting fuel-cell technology. The timing is good because Hyundai just started selling the first mass-produced fuel-cell vehicle sold/leased in the US (unless you count the Honda FCX Clarity, which we know Honda does). The goal for Hyundai and its public partners is to boost awareness of the benefits of fuel-cell technology (the full tank range is similar to a gas-powered vehicle without the tailpipe emissions). With enough awareness and resulting demand, the high cost of both building such vehicles and installing the refueling infrastructure needed to refuel them will theoretically get driven down. Or at least that's what Hyundai and future fuel-cell vehicle makers like Toyota, Mercedes-Benz and General Motors are shooting for. Hyundai started leasing its Tucson crossover fuel-cell vehicle in Southern California earlier this year. The company is charging $499 a month, in addition to a $2,999 down payment for the vehicle, and is allowing drivers to fuel up for no extra charge. Hyundai Collaborates With Congressional Hydrogen And Fuel Cell Caucus To Highlight Introduction Of Mass-Produced Fuel Cell Vehicles In The Retail Market Members of Congress, Department of Energy Tout Importance of Fuel Cell Technology WASHINGTON, Sept. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Hyundai collaborated with the House Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Caucus and the Department of Energy to highlight the introduction of the first mass-produced fuel cell vehicles in the U.S. retail market. In a briefing organized by the House Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Caucus, Hyundai executives, Members of Congress, and an official from the Department of Energy discussed the innovative and clean technology that powers hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and the need for additional hydrogen infrastructure in the United States. "Hyundai is thrilled to partner with leaders in Congress and the Department of Energy to promote the continued development and commercialization of these clean energy technologies," said Kathleen Hennessey, Vice President, Government Affairs for Hyundai Motor Company.
