BEAUTIFUL fully loaded 2005 Hummer H2 SUT Luxury Edition in "Stealth Gray Metallic" (very unique metallic blue color that seems to change in different lighting) being offered at NO RESERVE. This H2 is in excellent condition, has had 2 owners, is garage kept and just had an inspection/service at the dealer in Tucson (O'Rielly Chevrolet).  This H2 is AWESOME, and it is LOADED with LOTS of great options. It features the Luxury Package, a 6.0L V8 engine, automatic transmission, 4-Wheel Drive, Leather Interior, Heated leather seats (front AND rear), Rear AC/heat, Moon Roof, DVD w/dual rear head-rest monitors & remote, Rear Back-up Camera ("Optix" rear view mirror w/LCD screen, 2 video inputs, etc), Chrome Wheels, Bose Premium Sound, Satellite radio, Factory Tow package, Locking Roof Rack, etc.  NON-SMOKER owned, very clean inside and out.  I have a copy of the "Auto Check" that I can scan/email to you if you'd like, it has a clean history except for about a year ago the owner hit a Javalina (if you don't live in AZ, that's a wild pig) and it bent one of his custom rims, so he put the stock wheels and tires back on it and they have been on it since.  It didn't damage the body or paint, just the wheel.  You'll notice the little side marker light cover on the right side of the hood is cracked, it works fine but the plastic cover is broken- I will either have that replaced by the end of the auction, or take the price of it off of the final bid, they didn't have it in stock at the dealer in Tucson, and it may take 5-7 days to get here.  This Hummer has been very well cared for, serviced regularly and basically used to drive clients around the Phoenix area, owned by a commercial Real Estate broker.  You really have to see and drive this beauty to appreciate it.  Gets a lot of looks and compliments and is a pleasure to drive, and it seems to have this wonderful, uncanny ability to urge those little slow-moving hybrids right out of the fast lane ;)  Please scroll down to see FULL-SIZE pictures since Ebay's new "super-size" (zoom) feature leaves so much to be desired... pictures will load at the end of the verbage.

** Please feel free to contact me any time if you need any additional info, would like to come and see the Hummer, or just have questions: 520-404-1975 cell. (Heather Anderson). And please click on the "other items" link at the top right of this listing to see the Airstream that's also at auction now on Ebay. ***

I am a licensed/bonded AZ auto dealer... NOT by choice, but because here in the great state of AZ if you buy/sell more than 3 vehicles (of any kind) in any 12 month period, you have to get a license. I am a classic car and Airstream nut, I also have a ranch, wedding venue, horses, trailers, etc... let's just say I bought and sold a few too many for the state's liking, and due to the fact that they need revenue desperately- they decided to fine me when I sold a few more that what I'm "allowed", long story short- they got a bunch of my money, so that I can continue to do what any citizen of this great country should have the right to do.

Full payment is due within 7 days of the auction's end, and the Hummer must be picked up within 15 days of payment (unless other arrangements have been made). Certified funds, cash in person or bank wire-transfer only. Payments MUST clear before the vehicle leaves my sight. There are no "title fees" or "doc fees" like the typical dealers have because as far as I can tell, that's just a way to get an extra couple hundred dollars from someone, here in AZ it costs me $15.00 to get a temporary registration so that a buyer can drive home legally and $4.00 for a title, I think I can handle that. Please check my feedback, you'll see that I don't sell very many vehicles- but I do have 100% positive feedback on what I have sold over the years. I do NOT go to auctions and buy cars to sell, anything that I have sold or will sell either belonged to me or someone that I know or is a "consignment" type of sale. I have never liked most car dealers and am not all that thrilled to be "one of them".

*** This is a USED VEHICLE and is being sold as-is/where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. This H2 is in great condition, but please be realistic- it is not a brand new vehicle. If you can't make it here to see it in person, please call me and I can walk around it and point out any little flaws that I notice, or things that may bother someone. I would welcome and recommend that you come see it or have a 3rd party inspection. I will make it available throughout the auction for any and all inspections, just call and we'll set up a time. Please understand that the description is only my opinion, yours may be different, I have done my best to take many pictures and describe the Hummer to the best of my ability. Just remember, we all tend to look better in pictures than in person- that's just the way it is. This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Great State of Arizona as they apply to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Arizona between Arizona residents, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree that any claim or dispute you may have against Ever After Ranch Motors LLC must be resolved exclusively by a state or federal court located in Cochise County, Arizona, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within Cochise County, Arizona for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes. *** I reserve the right to end this listing at any time for any reason as the Hummer may be listed for sale locally as well.*** Payment methods accepted must be in the form of Certified funds, bank wire-transfer, or cash in person. Due to concerns of fraud, if you're paying via cashier's check, it must clear my account before the Airstream/title leaves my sight.

PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT send "Second Chance Offers"- if you get one, please report it to Ebay and do NOT respond. There is a scam going around right now that everyone should be aware of, and it involves second chance offers. Just remember, if you get any email that "says" it's from ebay, it will be in your "Ebay messages folder", if it's not there- it's probably a scam.

**Taxes: Arizona Residents: Must pay Sales tax (6.1%) as we are located in Cochise County.

**Any Non-Arizona Residents Using a Shipping Company: Pay No sales tax. The eBay final bid price is your price, you may have to pay taxes in your home state upon registration depending on where you live, but as long as I have a copy of a receipt/Bill of Lading from a licensed shipping company to show the state of AZ that the vehicle was picked up from me directly to be shipped out of state, you pay no tax here.

**Non-Arizona (U.S) Residents Taking Delivery in Arizona: Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 42-5061(U), out of state buyers that take delivery in Arizona will pay sales tax according to their home state's tax rate. All customers who take delivery in Arizona will receive a receipt showing taxes paid in Arizona to avoid being double charged by their home state. Licensed dealers do not pay sales tax.

**Non-U.S Residents Taking Delivery in Arizona: Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 42-5061(U), foreign citizens who take delivery in Arizona are subject to 6.1% state and County sales tax. Licensed dealers do not pay sales tax.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my auction and good luck bidding!!

An all-electric Hummer is reportedly under consideration at GM

Mon, Jun 17 2019

GM is reportedly considering a return to the Hummer brand, but not in the traditional Hummer way. No, a report from Bloomberg says that GM is mulling over the idea of building an electric Hummer. The report cites unnamed sources within GM, as the folks prefer not to be named due to the private nature of the conversations. At this point, Bloomberg characterizes the Hummer talks as preliminary discussions. GM is figuring out how it wants to organize its future electric trucks and SUVs, and Hummer is a part of those discussions. Just as anyone would expect, Hummer could be used to profit off the current demand for rugged and tough vehicles. Mark Reuss didn't commit either way to a Hummer revival when asked by Bloomberg. "I love Hummer. I don't know. We're looking at everything," Reuss said. Other GM sources said that the company sees an opportunity to compete with Jeep for off-road vehicles that have creature comforts commanding high premiums. The report states that designers have done work with Hummer concepts, experimenting with Hummer styling to implement it on GMC-branded products, too. There's also the question of whether an electric Hummer is a smart move to begin with. Folks bought up Hummers before because they're big, brawny, good off-road, and gas was cheap. Gas is relatively cheap today, but attitudes around cars that achieve 10 mpg have changed. Rivian thinks that consumers are interested in premium electric SUVs and trucks, and the hype around that company is real right now. An electric Hummer would undoubtedly go after the same space as the Rivian R1S. The number of people willing to drop over $70,000 on an electric adventure vehicle is still untested, though. Even if GM did give an electric Hummer project the green light, we're still years away. We know GM is currently in development of an electric pickup truck platform, but that doesn't mean it's anywhere close to production. We haven't seen a new Hummer since GM halted sales of the brand in 2010. The recession and high gas prices drove sales down so low that Hummer declared bankruptcy in 2009, but GM still kept the brand in its portfolio. It's hard to think of a better time than the SUV and crossover hoopla of today to introduce something like an electric Hummer, but until we hear something more substantial from GM, the vehicle is going to remain a rumor.

Mil-Spec built a one-off, track-ready Hummer H1

Mon, Sep 24 2018

Mil-Spec is one of the latest companies looking for success with restored and modified versions of iconic vehicles. Rather than Porsche 911s or '60s trucks and SUVs, its canvases are Hummer H1s. The customer vehicles are big, brash off-road machines, but that's not all the company is capable of. We recently learned that the crew over there built a Hummer H1 meant for race track use, and it is amazing. The base vehicle is a four-door convertible pickup truck, and Mil-Spec thoroughly changed the suspension. It has custom coilovers with stiff springs, and the entire suspension geometry has been revised. Overall, it was lowered a stunning seven inches compared with a stock H1. The H1's in-board brakes now feature six-piston brake calipers, and the wheels are wrapped in low-profile Pirelli P-Zero tires. Also impressive is the fact that the truck still has a part-time four-wheel-drive system. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Under the hood is a 6.6-liter Duramax diesel V8 similar to that in the customer models. But this one has been tuned all the way up to 800 horsepower and 1,500 pound-feet of torque. This engine also plays a role in this truck's origins. Apparently the truck was used for final powertrain testing and development. But it was also built to highlight the company's capabilities. If you want one of these, well, you can't have one. At least not yet. We asked a Mil-Spec representative, and he told us that there are no plans for offering track-oriented H1s. That's understandable, since the company is still working through building and selling its initial run of 12 off-road-ready vehicles. He did say the truck has generated a lot of interest, though. So, maybe when the company has time, and if a really wealthy buyer really wanted one, maybe the Mil-Spec could work something out. But at least in the meantime, the company is sticking to tall, chunky-tired H1s. Related Video:

Best and Worst GM Cars

Thu, Apr 7 2022

Oh yes, because we just love receiving angry letters from devoted Pontiac Grand Am enthusiasts, we have decided to go there. Based on a heated group Slack conversation, the topic came up about the best and worst GM cars. First of all time, and then those currently on sale, and then just mostly a rambling discussion of Oldsmobiles our parents and grandparents owned (or engineered). Eventually, three of us made the video above. Like it? Maybe we can make more. Many awesome GM cars are definitely going unmentioned here, so please let us know your bests and worsts in the comments below. Mostly, it's important to note that this post largely exists as a vehicle for delivering the above video that dives far deeper into GM's greatest hits and biggest flops, specifically those from the 1980s and 1990s. What you'll find below is a collection of our editors identifying a best current and best-of-all-time choice, plus a worst current and worst-of-all-time choice. Comprehensive it is not, but again, comments. -Senior Editor James Riswick Best Current GM Vehicle Chevrolet Corvette We were flying by the seats of our pants a bit in this first outing and my notes were similarly extemporaneous. When it came time to tie it all together on camera, I failed spectacularly. Thank the maker for text, because this gives me the opportunity to perhaps slightly better explain my convoluted reasoning. I chose the C8 Corvette because it's simply overwhelmingly good, and it's merely the baseline from which this generation of Corvette will be expanded.  While the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing (more on that in a minute) is an amazing snapshot of GM's current performance standing and its little sibling so enraptured me that I went out and bought one, their existence is fleeting. Corvette will live on; forced-induction Cadillac sport sedans, not so much. So while all three are amazing machines when viewed in a vacuum, the Corvette stands above them as both a reflection of GM's current performance credentials and a signpost of what is to come. So, given the choice between the C8 and the 5V-Blackwing right now, I'd choose the C8. In 10 years, when the Blackwing is no longer in production and Corvette is in its 9th generation? Well, that might be a different story. Now, just pretend I said something even remotely that coherent when we get to the part of the video where I try to make an argument for the 5-V Blackwing as best GM car I've ever driven. Or just laugh at me while I ramble incoherently.
